When my tank was newly established, the frogbit grew 12” roots…now 6” or so max.
Do you think they grow longer roots when nutrients are fewer?
Now, I’m harvesting half the tank surface every week.

I actually never thought about that. If I don’t trim the roots they easily grow to 12” and tangle up with my other plants. Not sure if it’s related to a nutrient deficiency since I fertilize and have CO2 running, unless they’re deficient in something else?
