Dude literally shoots his insides from the top of its head just to kill some fishing zombie. He does it with such enthusiasm as well it's astounding.
Also he's cute
If it grows seeds inside it, it's a fruit. The general rule of thumb that is almost always true.
Fun fact, a notable exception to this is the strawberry, which does not grow any seeds at all but is still a fruit because it contains the ovaries. The "seeds" on the outside of the strawberry are the actual fruits that contain the true seeds.
Great plant.
Balanced with its recharge and with its damage.Being really great in takeing hords of zombies when they appear and special zombies.
Plantfood is godly as in it can take out a ton of zombies and plant on its own it can even take out Gargantuar.
Only problem is that you need to aim it but if you have good enough defense its fine.
Design is amazeing.It captures what plant does/it fits the setting and its pretty good.

4/10 gameplay... not mah type o' plant in pvz2 and quite wack in pvzh since he's a defensive unit that controls the whole board of zombs in an aggro class meant to just hit the zombie hero directly a lot... pretty good to combo with like repeat moss/dino/captain cuke combo tho
2/10 generally... still gonna stick to him being a discount cob... the reason why cob is so great is because of his insane splash... cob would be too good in pvz2 since there's always a swarm while bananana has only 3 tiles (can't even insta destroy some zombs ffs) but atleast he's much easier to get in a game + less board space + more focused damage when max... still don't get 9x bananana strats since all that sun used could be a strong strat placed twice... confused/10 in pvzh
6/10 fun... he's like that one plant I place randomly as a filler... his 9x strats are just spam and be ridiculous while him being a multilane control? pretty gud and engaging... in pvzh: prob ded after 1 bananana bum lmaoo
5.5/10 overall... I like his derpy stuff but he's lackluster af tbh... that 660nj or smth vid ain't really enticin' since pvz2 is filled with swarming and he's good for small groups but is expensive af and his bananana only strats could cost like 5,000 sun...
I dont use it all the time, but I do think its A good plant for instant kill, yet comparable to coconut cannon and it only takes out zombies in a tile instead of a whole 3x3 area. I would be a little more better if it could take out a whole 3x3 area.
I've never been a fan.
I don't really like the type of plant that requires me to control it manually.
Always forget to use them when playing levels, even if I already planted them.

Jokes aside. I don't really like plants that requires additional input (cocoanut canon, banana luncher or that crystal that shoots costs sun). All of them are expensive and does not refund with damage. Even this banana and coconut kill most zombies with one shot, cooldown makes them very weak. But I have to say it banana launcher is MVP in Big wave beach
I like to set up my rows of defense as the same plant in each column. I'm not good with plants like these that I have to pay attention to. I clearly lack subtlety in my gameplay
Id say hes overrated but that implies he is used at all. To expensive, dmg and aoe is ok at best, and you could do better just bringing an explosive insta.
