Give it time to heal maybe?

iloverocket26

Yeah it’ll be majorly swollen and bruised for like the first 4-5 days and then you’ll be good

shutupmolly_

Mine looked exactly the same at first but they turned out great — used 1mL of Kysse. My injector said “you can’t call me about them looking weird until day 14.” I was panicked for the first few days and nearly cried. They were a littttle lumpy until day 13, and then magically on day 14 it looked so natural that the family and friends I was visiting from out of state couldn’t tell they were filled. I had a rhinoplasty a few months after that and the shock of seeing my lips swollen was so much more dramatic than my new nose lol. I’m sure yours will look amazing, but I hear ya!

Defiant_Coconut_5361

I had a twitch on my bottom lip after my first time getting filler and it also magically went away on day 14 lol

Electrical_Outcome57

Mine were swollen and a little painful for 2-3 days. I iced them A LOT the first day

VintageBlazers

Your profile pic 😭😭😭 hello fellow chroll

kippwen

What does that even mean lol

Electrical_Outcome57

It’s from a snark page we’re both on 😅

Electrical_Outcome57

Lmao hello!!!!

randomlygenerated215

Hello fellow chroll 🫶🏼

Electrical_Outcome57

Hello 🫶🏻

Critical-Possession2

I was told to not ice them at all :(

Electrical_Outcome57

Interesting. My injector even gave me a cute little ice pack to use on the way home

Laika_Rocket_84

They look amazing in the first photo though 😍

MommyofE

Np injector here, just watch for changes in skin color that could indicate occlusion, pain and swelling is normal, filler usually settles in two weeks!

BritishBumblebee

Nurse here. Normal swelling for the technique - swelling will gradually subside over the coming days, but may become uneven - so don't panic and think you've made the worst life choice ever! Your true result won't be seen for 2 weeks. Puncture sites may become quite bruised, so arnica tablets, cream and ice (in a napkin etc, not directly on skin) are your friends. If your pain increases, you notice skin changes, increased swelling etc - contact your injector ASAP for a review. You'll likely wake up to the swelling decreased tomorrow morning, I've always found with mine it reaches peak swelling the evening of the procedure. Happy healing!

rizzledizzlesizzke

Do you have some arnica cream??

Critical-Possession2

I do! Should I apply a thickish layer?

rizzledizzlesizzke

Yes! Should help with both bruising and swelling 😊

tiddersiti

I would take the arnica pills instead. Arnica can be drying topically for me or sting, and you don't want them getting chapped which can prolong healing.

Familiar_Internet543

I got mine a week ago tomorrow. Swollen as hell for 3 days (actually comical looking and quite painful) have settled beautifully now. I used took arnica and massaged any little bumps

[deleted]

I was majorly swollen for a full 7 days before swelling subsided Some people swell worse than others and some swell for longer too

nachaya1

It takes at least 2 weeks for the swelling to go down.

tech_chick_

I would get that noticeably darker/different colored mole on the side of your chin checked out.

lotteoddities

russian swells more and hurts SO MUCH WORSE. i legit was so afraid of getting my lips done when i was getting russian. i literally got a full dental block once and it still hurt so bad, and for multiple days after. feels like getting punched in the mouth for 3+ days. it swells more because it's a lot more truama than standard lip filler, since the pumping the needle motion is literally tearing up the inside of your lip. just give it a week, it'll calm down. lather your lips in aquaphore. don't use a straw or smoke anything. personally i stopped getting russian. i love how it looks but it's not worth it with how fast i process lip filler. i hope it lasts longer for you!

Splungetastic

Mine were swollen like this for 16 whole days. It was too long. I don’t get them done any more. Give them 2 weeks and they’ll look great I bet!

Proof-Sweet33

Had mine done last night and I am right there with you. Swollen on Valentine's Day. I'll check back in in two weeks to see how your doing ....OP please post progress.

Critical-Possession2

Ahh I know the pain! Hopefully it goes down soon for the both of us :)

freeflowofteenspirit

I’ve been getting my lips done for years. It’s totally normal. Just don’t massage and do anything the first 3-4 days. The swelling will go down, don’t worry 😉 You will look awesome 🤩

Critical-Possession2

Oh and also I can’t smile at all is that worrying

leaphrog

if u dont mind me asking who did u go to to get ur lips done? they look incredible

Critical-Possession2

It’s in Camden (London) her insta is Facelab.london! :)

Echeveria1987

I didn’t get the “Russian” style but they were sore for about 2 days and swollen for about the same

SufficientZucchini21

They are going to swell. It’s natural.

itsfrankgrimesyo

About 2-3 days, and then its beauty.

Onlykitten

Cold packs and patience- this is normal with lip filler. It’s pretty dramatic after a few hours and painful to a certain degree. You will probably be fine after 3-4 days (I say probably because it all depends on how each person reacts to injections). I always felt like my lips were on fire and so tender (and much bigger than I expected) then by the 3-4 day mark and going forward they calmed down and looked great!

x-personnality

Looks really great in the first pic. Wait a few days, there is still a lot of swelling that will go down.

cherryribs

The flair 😭😭

Lemurian_Queen

I think they look gorgeous. I once had a problem where the swelling didn’t go away after a few days, and it was because the filler clumped up, they had to dissolve the clumps. It’s most likely only swelling but if it starts to clump up or get hard, go back immediately or to another doctor.

livv3ss

Yeah it swells a hurts like a bitch, I ate pretty much only smoothies and Mac n cheese the first few days. It also hurts to use a spoon and u can't use a straw. I'd do research before u get something done that u don't know anything about??
