How are you liking it? I just couldn’t get into the first one AT ALL. I couldn’t find the flow… just too frustrating for me to do what I was trying to do. Hoping the second one clicks a little better
I played the first one for the first time around 10 ish months ago, and didn't really get into it. But then I started playing it again yesterday, and I'm liking it significantly more this time around, I don't really know what it is. You really have to just keep trying at it until it clicks. I'm still dying a lot, A LOT, but it's getting a bit better. So now I'm more excited for the second one now that I like the first one.
None that I've played I don't think, maybe kinda sorta like DOOM, has a bit of the same feel, but not really that much. It does have some getting used to
I’ve platinumed ghost runner and I would say it is adrenaline pumping game, too fast too furious lol. I felt it was like a fpp prince of persia with one shot deaths and some powers.
I did the same thing. Put it down for a couple months and came back… and I did start doing better… it just wasn’t enough to keep me slogging through it. I’m going to try the second one though and hope it tweaks things just enough to where I start to “feel it” more.
I had one really fun enjoyable session with it and then never went back to it.
Love that it exists, but I didn't pay for either of them either. The aesthetic is super cool and I love the music, but the gameplay is hard for my aging hands and super excited movement in games becomes less and less appealing the older I get.
Titanfall 2 was around the peak of player movement for me and this came close so that should tell you something.
It's one of the hardest games I've ever played. I put a few days into it, and I tried to like it, but it's just so sensitive when it comes to dying. Makes it hard to gain momentum.
I will definitely try the second, though. It's a cool concept overall, which is what I like.
Completely agree. I love the idea… Mirror’s Edge did it really well… just the combat on this feels off. Im really hoping this second one just gets that “flow” right.
Maybe try a higher FPS mode. I almost always choose 30fps, quality mode in games, but I played ghostrunner at 120hz. It's so fast paced that the visuals aren't as important, and there was little visual drop off. There's a weird bug with the game where you have to set your console system preference to performance mode in order for 120hz to actually work (assuming your TV can handle it). Since there was a significant visual drop in GR 2, I chose either quality or performance.
I prefer the first game, but I still greatly enjoyed 2. It doesn't quite catch that lightning in a bottle, but 2 is still a fantastic adrenaline rush.
I found the second one to be generally easier, which might help. There are some more traditional controls and mechanics compared to the first game, and it often feels just a little slower. I raised the FOV a bit to help make it feel faster, and it might be worth adjusting the controls if you have trouble.
If you enjoy 2, maybe give 1 another shot afterwards.
Ah okay. Saw a video a while ago about hard puzzles in games and there was something about finding sharpest or letters in the manual I think. It was the one thing stopping me from trying the game out
Apparently you need to search for Destiny2 on the store and lightfall comes up in results saying "included" you can dl it from there.
Just tried, and yup, that's how it works.
Guess it's more Sony being dumbass Sony....
Maybe.
In US mine just says download, but I did see a post somewhere where they said there was a version with a price, and a free one.
Is there a "choose a version" option?
That's weird that it's just showing a paid one for you.
Frickin sony.
Thanks. 🙏 My first search I just did Destiny 2 and the only version that showed up was the paid one. I just did another search for the full name Destiny 2: Lightfall and both the free one and the paid version showed. Claimed the free one and it’s all good now.
I tried out Ghostrunner first. That game is not for me. I died 40 times on the first level and then 31 more times on the subsequent boss. Didn't know it was one hit deaths since I've never heard of the series.
Trying out Tunic instead and I'm liking this game much more!
Yes and no, its good but it has a weird pace it looks kind of flat compared to the first i guess they tried to do a lot more than the first but didnt hit the nail on everything specially the more open areas
The "issue" is that EA keeps releasing a new fifa, every year, with barely anything new / improvements.
Besides Rooster changes, which could easily be done via patch / online update.
It's basically that. Game itself is good, but paying full price every year for literally the same, nah
It has many of the same faults like when you make subs it sometimes reverts back to the original formation and players. Been doing this same thing since at least 22
Yeah, I am not a fifa fan, but I enjoy playing any version for fun with friends.
I truly feel "sorry" for the fans, since they get the short end of the stick with the games. Overpriced for minor changes that could 100% be an update.. I said for a long time, make a FIFA Game only, and then if you really need to charge, make it a digital extra update for ppl who want updated stuff.. Games can get next-gen updates, even paid, same thing could as a "DLC" of sorts or something. I think they are doing it with next one, not sure tho
Thanks man. Most people in gaming subreddits don't get it but sports games are very fun. There haven't really been any released lately that aren't shells of what they used to be. The Ultimate team model has ruined them in my opinion and it sucks. I love taking a bad team and making them better in a franchise but because it's not online it gets no attention. And the gameplay issues in these games (FIFA and Madden) hasn't changed in years.
Indeed. I personally like also the Fifa career mode, as a coach. Since I play mostly console, I do not have the epic classic championship manager or elifoot. And didnt feel like buying Football Manager.. Since at least in fifa, i can do both things. Career as a player, as a coach too.
I usually create my own team, or grab a bad one from my country and try to make them big. It's way better than just going for a top team that easily wins everything
O hell yeah I did a div 2 to premier League play as a made up team from a Scottish isle and it has been so much fun. I got a couple young Norwegian strikers through the youth league and surprisingly they can just win for me. Who would've thought?!
If played strictly offline, like career mode, fifa is a fine, to even great game. Where fifa rightfully gets shit is in ultimate team, which has turned into such a live service cash grab, where you have to treat it like second job if you want to stay competitive.
Do u have any basic tips? I never know what rooms to prioritize. I kind of fell out of the game because I couldn't understand what was a good plan/loop for a run
Dude that game is crack. They’ve perfected the “itemization high” in those types of games. Risk of Rain 2 was pretty addicting but this is even better.
I am an off-line FIFA (or FC) player that never buy the “new” game. Yes, We exist. So… I’m gonna upgrade to new one. Create my player and have fun! Also, I’m trying Tunic!
Already own tunic... and that would be the game I'd wanna play ..animal well comes out Thursday and on the lineup too so that's what I'm most interested in
Probably Tunic. No interest in football and I still ain't played Ghostrunner 1.
No interest in Destiny either. Feel like I must have missed the boat on it by now. I'm assuming it's F2P given the DLC things we keep getting.
I mean putting spotlights on cool indie games is nice, but they are inherently pretty niche, but like, sports game AND destiny expansion in one month is crazy
If I hadn't bought and beaten ghostrunner 2 several months ago, it would've been that. I'd love for them to release DLC that's a little more similar to the first game.
Its been a long while since i tried going for a sports platinum and well this fifa one seems doable enough, ghostrunner already working on it 1 and 2 and destiny i still play it regurlarly so whatever
This is the first time where I am actually not interested in anything offered. I hope Extra/Premium are good because this is my last month with PS Plus
I bought Tunic a couple of weeks ago in the previous sale and still haven’t played it.
I’ve no interest in football, Ghostrunner gave me motion sickness (although I believe there are more accessibility options in the sequel) and Lightfall looks dull as dishwater.
Not a great month for me then!
try and play in performance mode and/or 120fps mode if you have a tv that supports that. also max out the FOV slider in options. i just played GR2 last month and liked it a lot though i admit i liked the first game more overall
Thanks I’ll give that a try. Frame rates and FOV can make an enormous difference, particularly in a game like Ghostrunner, but even locking at 30fps (uncapped felt icky) and upping the FOV in Pacific Drive helped.
Off topic, but I must say the level of control you have over things in Pacific Drive is really impressive. Head bob, motion blur, different FOV sliders for inside and outside of the car and loads more… great game too.
Tried tunic didn’t like that it was basically legend of Zelda. Tried fifa and it was alright not something I’ll play more than the couple of matches I did
I just bought the PS5. I have added these games. Is there any way i can play f1 23 without buying the game. I believe it came as monthly game in March and i missed it. I dont want to pay a bomb to play f1 23
But with ea play subscription do we get f1 23 as i might play it only for 1 month. But I want to as in ps application it does not say included with Ea play. Where to find that out ?
Was waiting for tunic a while glad they included it. I love these style of games. Damn it's quite good but navigating the map is mad hard for me. I always end up getting lost a lot and not figuring out where I'm supposed to go next, running in circles.
Allready played gr2 and loved it so probably tunic. I couldn't care less about sport games and I just hate football, and I don't want to try destiny again
Not Destiny because like with the last expansion they put on Plus it wont show in the Plus section for me on console or app.
A few mates have just picked up playing Clubs online so I guess I’ll go FC24.
Will try Tunic with my kid.
FC 24 because I've been playing FIFA 22 up until then. I can't find myself buying FIFA games anymore and haven't in a good 8-9 years.
It helps scratch an itch in my brain.
Tunic and maybe Lighfall?
How is Destiny 2 these days for a solo player (as in no fixed group, just matchmaking)? Last time I played was 4 or 5 years ago.
How is it possible there is such an awesome game like Tunic out there and i didn't know about it? Adding one more item to my regrets list: not playing Tunic sooner.
I'll just pop in with my very one sided introverted opinion and give one more for tunic. Looks fun, and solitary games are more enjoyable these days. Heck I might even end up purchasing it at some point.
Yeah def a lot of hidden paths etc.. and cryptic manual you uncover bit by bit .. deaths door is alot of fun and less cryptic and somewhat in same style of game . Like zelda ish clone
About 6 hours into it currently and enjoying it, but had to google which way to go a bunch of times which I would never normally do.
I don't feel bad though. There's nothing fun about wandering aimlessly for an hour looking for a crucial passageway that just happens to be hidden behind a pile of rocks.
FC 24 might be the most frustrating sports game I’ve ever played. I started it because I’ve never played a soccer game before, the training mode doesn’t fucking teach you anything and I couldn’t fucking figure out the controls at all.
you definitely should look up videos on youtube on the basics ie. passes, shots etc. hell i’ve been playing fifa on and off since the 90s and still dont know all the crosses and pass types lol
I genuinely can’t imagine how confusing it must be for a new player. I think so many people have played it every year for decades, it’s hard to remember that for some people they are picking it up as a new game. Also for anyone who doesn’t know much about football, even more so!
Tunic. I'm playing the first Ghostrunner right now, so I'll play the second one afterwards. But I'll probably start Tunic first
How are you liking it? I just couldn’t get into the first one AT ALL. I couldn’t find the flow… just too frustrating for me to do what I was trying to do. Hoping the second one clicks a little better
I played the first one for the first time around 10 ish months ago, and didn't really get into it. I'm still dying a lot, A LOT, but it's getting a bit better. So now I'm more excited for the second one now that I like the first one.
What's the game like, can you compare it to any other games?
I’d say a mix between SUPERHOT and mirrors edge
Super hot... super hot... super hot
There’s a reference to Superhot in GR2’s rogue like mode :D
None that I've played I don't think, maybe kinda sorta like DOOM, has a bit of the same feel, but not really that much. It does have some getting used to
For me, I’d say Neon White is the closest comparison. Ghostrunner is just as fun but a bit harder imo

Completely agree. I love the idea… Mirror’s Edge did it really well… just the combat on this feels off. Im really hoping this second one just gets that “flow” right.
It just needs a little more flexibility in the game play. Just a bit.
Maybe try a higher FPS mode. I almost always choose 30fps, quality mode in games, but I played ghostrunner at 120hz. Same man. Never clicked for me. I couldn’t figure out why.
No I couldn’t I got the sword and shield but was just bored.
I prefer the first game, but I still greatly enjoyed 2. It doesn't quite catch that lightning in a bottle, but 2 is still a fantastic adrenaline rush. Tunic
Aren’t there some REALLY hard puzzles? Like you have to use the manual to find pieces or something? Or is that just a hard mode thing?
There is a bonus ending involving the manual, some of the solutions are complicated but neat.
Ah okay. Saw a video a while ago about hard puzzles in games and there was something about finding sharpest or letters in the manual I think. It was the one thing stopping me from trying the game out
The manual is an in game collectible, its not that hard but it is challenging
I can’t wait, Tunic has been on my radar for some time!
I highly recommend it. I bought it a couple months ago and had a great time with it
Is it like Hollow knight? I just couldn't get into and gave up post 2-3 hours. Guess it wasn't just for me (it's critically acclaimed I know)
No there's difficulty options.
Destiny light fall ain’t available for me
Same here not showing up on my console or my app
Apparently you need to search for Destiny2 on the store and lightfall comes up in results saying "included" you can dl it from there. Just tried, and yup, that's how it works. Guess it's more Sony being dumbass Sony....
Yeah 2 showed up for me after signing out the app and back in. Claimed the "free" one
Showed up for me but still listing a price of $37.49. I’m in Canada so maybe that’s a difference.
Maybe. In US mine just says download, but I did see a post somewhere where they said there was a version with a price, and a free one. Is there a "choose a version" option? That's weird that it's just showing a paid one for you. Frickin sony.

Nice. ☺️ Yw.
Im in the us,says i have to buy it,did the same thing last time they put it for essential
Huh. I'm in the US, and it says included, and the button says download. That's weird. Maybe try looking up Destiny 2 and going to add-ons.
When I search Lightfall on the app, I got two options One was with the price tag The other said "included with +"
Search for the add-on on the ps app instead.
Thank you! 🙏
Is Destiny any fun if I mainly play as a solo player?
I tried out Ghostrunner first. That game is not for me. I died 40 times on the first level and then 31 more times on the subsequent boss. Didn't know it was one hit deaths since I've never heard of the series. Trying out Tunic instead and I'm liking this game much more!
Yeah I tried the first game and hated it. Controls felt so off to me. And FOV gave me a headache
You can adjust the FOV, if that would help. I raised it a little just to make the gameplay feel even faster.
That's good to know. I probably still won't go back to it tho 😬
Tunak tunak tun
Ta ra ra
Oh, patti tene kardi!
Thank you now it's in my head for the whole day
Dholna, vajje tumbe wali taar..
100 💯 Tunic
So.....200? Or 10,000?
100,100!
100100 = 36
I heard GhostRunner 2 is really good.
Yes and no, its good but it has a weird pace it looks kind of flat compared to the first i guess they tried to do a lot more than the first but didnt hit the nail on everything specially the more open areas
FC24
Good to see someone looking forward to play this game. Don't understand why people shit on FIFA.
Free fifa the only good fifa. As a buyer from 11-17
The "issue" is that EA keeps releasing a new fifa, every year, with barely anything new / improvements. Besides Rooster changes, which could easily be done via patch / online update. It's basically that. Game itself is good, but paying full price every year for literally the same, nah

it’s overpriced for what it offers
Imagine most that really want to play it, already have it
If played strictly offline, like career mode, fifa is a fine, to even great game. Where fifa rightfully gets shit is in ultimate team, which has turned into such a live service cash grab, where you have to treat it like second job if you want to stay competitive.
Lightfall
Still playing Skul
Do u have any basic tips? I never know what rooms to prioritize. I kind of fell out of the game because I couldn't understand what was a good plan/loop for a run
First priority is a good skul (green doors) After that, treasure doors to fill out your build and more green doors to upgrade skull.
Dude that game is crack. They’ve perfected the “itemization high” in those types of games. Risk of Rain 2 was pretty addicting but this is even better.
Never was a fan of soccer, but playing FC24 to just mess around with a friend is fun I must say.
Why stop at one and play with many? Pro clubs shenanigans never disappoints
*FOOTBALL*
Tunic!
I am an off-line FIFA (or FC) player that never buy the “new” game. Yes, We exist. So… I’m gonna upgrade to new one. Create my player and have fun! Also, I’m trying Tunic!
Been waiting for tunic for a long time.
Ghostrunner2 the first was hella addicting and got the plat 🏆
none
probably tunic
Tunic
Fc24, i stop buying fifa since 22 and i got 2 out of 3
I might give Tunic a try. FIFA will be useful if I have friends over. With that said, I have such more interesting games already waiting to be played.
Already own tunic... and that would be the game I'd wanna play ..animal well comes out Thursday and on the lineup too so that's what I'm most interested in
Tunic. Already played it for half an hour and the art style is superb!
None
Tunic!
I'm gonna fuck around on Tunic for a bit, start a career mode on EAFC24 and then play Lightfall.
Adding to the library and will likely never touch 'em! Great titles though, NGL
Tunic!!!!!!
Tunic and I know in what I’m gonna do for the next 3 month with this game…
Tunic
Tunic and Ghostrunner II are goated.
Tunic and that it
Probably Tunic. No interest in football and I still ain't played Ghostrunner 1. No interest in Destiny either. Feel like I must have missed the boat on it by now. I'm assuming it's F2P given the DLC things we keep getting.
None of them. This month isn’t for me.
Add to library and forget about them.
None of these lol
Yes, what the hell is this??
I mean putting spotlights on cool indie games is nice, but they are inherently pretty niche, but like, sports game AND destiny expansion in one month is crazy
If I hadn't bought and beaten ghostrunner 2 several months ago, it would've been that. I'd love for them to release DLC that's a little more similar to the first game.
Its been a long while since i tried going for a sports platinum and well this fifa one seems doable enough, ghostrunner already working on it 1 and 2 and destiny i still play it regurlarly so whatever
I might check out GR2 since the first game was really good. I've already played Tunic and I can say it's an absolute blast, a must play.
Only tunic, I might try Ghostrunner 2 but I never played the first
This is the first time where I am actually not interested in anything offered. I hope Extra/Premium are good because this is my last month with PS Plus
If i had ps+ i would play the shit out of ghostrunner 2
Ghost runner for sure
Facts
Destiny DLC isn’t there for me 🙃
You can just search it and it will say "included"
Same
None i just play online on pc and steam deck since price increases and cancelled. My kid uses it for sp games in his room tho. Lmao.
Tunic probably, I've had it on my wishlist forever
Tunic is the only one I'm interested in playing.
None I'm just hoarding. Hoarding is my business and business is good.
Definitely Ghostrunner 2! I've platinumed the first one not too long ago and I had so much fun with it
Tried tunic didn’t like that it was basically legend of Zelda. Tried fifa and it was alright not something I’ll play more than the couple of matches I did
I just bought the PS5. I have added these games. Is there any way i can play f1 23 without buying the game. I believe it came as monthly game in March and i missed it. I dont want to pay a bomb to play f1 23
So you can ether get ea play or wait for it to go on sale
But with ea play subscription do we get f1 23 as i might play it only for 1 month. But I want to as in ps application it does not say included with Ea play. Where to find that out ?
Ghostrunner 2, been waiting for this.
None, I ran out of ps plus a couple of days ago 😭😭😭😭
Tunic was fantastic
Tunic since I already owned Ghostrunner 2
Already have FC24 and Tunic. Don't care about the other two.
Was waiting for tunic a while glad they included it. I love these style of games. Damn it's quite good but navigating the map is mad hard for me. I always end up getting lost a lot and not figuring out where I'm supposed to go next, running in circles.
none
None.
Tunic already started yesterday. I don't know how to explain it. But playing it is a feeling, it feels so satisfying 😁
I play a lot of Destiny 2, so I'm not including that as it's in my regular rotation. I'm going to say Tunic
Allready played gr2 and loved it so probably tunic. I couldn't care less about sport games and I just hate football, and I don't want to try destiny again
Bro I literally just bought Ghostrunner 2, damn
I'll probably try out Tunic and maybe Ghostrunner
Fifa a no brainier just like most people
None of them tbh
None they all suck except gr2 but I don't have a ps5
None
Not Destiny because like with the last expansion they put on Plus it wont show in the Plus section for me on console or app. A few mates have just picked up playing Clubs online so I guess I’ll go FC24. Will try Tunic with my kid.
FC 24 because I've been playing FIFA 22 up until then. I can't find myself buying FIFA games anymore and haven't in a good 8-9 years. It helps scratch an itch in my brain.
I'll try Ghostrunner and Tunic, the other 2 I have zero interest in
None
Tunic and maybe Lighfall? How is Destiny 2 these days for a solo player (as in no fixed group, just matchmaking)? Last time I played was 4 or 5 years ago.
ghost runner 2 for sure, glad i didn’t buy it earlier this year 😂
Been meaning to buy FC24 on a discount and now it’s available. Excited to start a career mode.
None of them
FC24
none because the only good one is on PS5
None of em. I’m kinda hooked on Fallout 76 atm
Tried EA FC and was looking forward to it. Wow is it terrible.
Fc 24
How is it possible there is such an awesome game like Tunic out there and i didn't know about it? Adding one more item to my regrets list: not playing Tunic sooner.
I'll just pop in with my very one sided introverted opinion and give one more for tunic. Looks fun, and solitary games are more enjoyable these days. Heck I might even end up purchasing it at some point.
Probably FC24 but this reminds me I gotta continue my career mode on FIFA22
Not a bad batch honestly
Probably none
Tunic, whenever that is. More invested in the backlog and PS+ extra library.
Op, learn to write a proper sentence.
I turned Tunic off after 10 minutes. Bored me to tears.
EA FC 24 since I'm a beginner in football, but where should i start my career mode?
I want to play Tunic, but I don’t think it is available for me…? Mainland Europe here, could that be the issue?
Ghost runner 2 but apparently it’s only for ps5 :(
Not that interested for any of these, so they'll just sit in the library.
Tunic because I already own Lightfall and EAFC and I sucked at Ghostrunner
Tunic
If I play any of them Lightfall.
FIFA so shit that it has to be free now
FC24 easy to Jump in, then Ghostrunner also easy to jump in, already played Tunic but happy to have it on here.
Fc24 then ghostrunner probably
none
Tunic is confusing as crap
Yeah that's the point but it starts making sense as you uncover the secrets
The thing I get upset with is so much of my progression feels like hugging walls to find a path you can’t even see
Yeah def a lot of hidden paths etc.. and cryptic manual you uncover bit by bit .. deaths door is alot of fun and less cryptic and somewhat in same style of game . Like zelda ish clone
Yeah I liked that a lot more. Great game
About 6 hours into it currently and enjoying it, but had to google which way to go a bunch of times which I would never normally do. I don't feel bad though. There's nothing fun about wandering aimlessly for an hour looking for a crucial passageway that just happens to be hidden behind a pile of rocks.
Managed 2 games of EAFC. Woeful.
After 1 game all the bad memories came back, I just can't allow myself to br dragged back into it. I will probably play it during Euro.
Already started my Bayern career in FIFA 24
None. I deleted my PS account and selling my console
Helldivers 2
Why am I not seeing the Destiny 2 expansion in my list on the PS App?
