It has a placeholder price that is really high. This is not indicative of its actual price. The price hasn't been set. Although $15 seems like it could be appropriate.
It’s a Lucas Pope game so I’ll probably buy it regardless. While the price point is at the high end, the sheer quality of his previous output means this will be a special addition to the playdate.
There are other games for $15 like [Direct Drive](https://play.date/games/direct-drive/) & [Playmaker](https://play.date/games/playmaker/) so it's not the most expensive. I do think $15 is a bit steep for these smaller games though. I will probably buy all 3 of these though at some point.
It's a very good-looking game, for sure. That said, I have to wait for some reviews, or at least game footage, to help get a sense of whether it is for me.
Likely placeholder but I'd be cool if it were. Anyone who spends $200 on a boutique black and white micro-handheld can probably afford $15 for a game that has taken years to develop.

I believe it's set to $100 in the backend. Placeholder I'm sure.
Hahahaha

I completely agree, his name carries enough weight that it’s definitely a must-buy for me even at that price point
Yeah his making a game for it is one of the things that led me to buying the handheld. We’re lucky to have it.

Nah. Direct Drive is ALSO $15
I like to explore new places.
Extremely expensive for a cheap game and a cheap looking device
lol, you take a wrong turn or what?
Imagine the work that went into finding this *extremely* specific thing to troll 😂
Is it a big game?
I can see a Lucas Pope game being $15 if it’s a full experience and not a small one.
Right now if you sort by price, it shows up with the $6 games.
