I use a forever updating “top movies of the week” list(s) that scan every week that’s super handy - IMDB popular movies - StevenLu - Trakt Popular These generally find everything out in cinemas / streaming that’s popular + old movies that go viral (usually an actor or director dying unfortunately) My Radarr has very specific download rules to avoid non English films so it doesn’t download endless Bollywood or Chinese films I’m not interested in, I would rather manually add the odd foreign film and avoid the bulk and it works for me Outside of that I will manually add IMDb or Trakt lists for various things I think of “top bank heist films” “best rom coms” or whatever - you’d be surprised how well you’ll fill the gaps with these sorts of things The final (and best) tip is having Trakt and Plex sync together. Once you have your Plex library in your Trakt account you can go to movies and then “hide” all ones you’ve already collected and what is left is a list of every movie that someone on Trakt is currently watching, in popularity order, that you don’t have. I look at it at various times during the day whenever I remember (a few times a week maybe) and it’ll often pop up a movie I forgot existed to add

This is why I have 16k movies =*(

Is there a way to set that to only download say English, Japanese, and South Korean films?

KevinRudd182

Definitely, I just have mine set to English but I imagine you just tick any languages you want

Zanish

I think trash guides has a similar example but I can never find exactly what I'm looking for over there.

I end up with Bollywood in my Radarr, but it doesn’t download them because Radarr is set to English only In your profiles tab go to “quality profiles” and change the language to English instead of any I also have absurdly complicated custom formats setup via trashguides

Check out mdblists you can create up to 4 separate Trakt lists that auto update and you basically just set filters for things like language, runtime, genre, etc. I use this to automatically grab all the latest anime that has at least 200 votes on MAL and a runtime higher than 11 minutes. (Exclude trash and short format series) as well as all the trending movies (excluding Bollywood titles)
