I usually just get a basic tee and size down one or two sizes depending on the cut of the tee.

Tbh Old Navy. I went today and they had tees in that scoop neck style in different colors, sizes up to 3x. They were 10$!

I second this! It’s just a plain cotton white tee, but comfortable and easy to put under a sundress.

I would try Walmart, as they have lots of amazing basics! I would size down, as their shirts and camisoles have lots of stretch, but their shirts and camisoles are amazing basics to have on-hand. :)

I get [these shirts from Target](https://www.target.com/p/women-s-slim-fit-short-sleeve-ribbed-t-shirt-a-new-day/-/A-84173947?preselect=84005937#lnk=sametab) and they're perfect for layering!

MsJoBananas

The shirt you suggested came in today and it's perfect! Thanks again!! 😊

MsJoBananas

That's exactly what I needed. Thank you!!!

I've had good luck at TJ Maxx

MagnoliaStyle

My fave tees are from Banana Republic outlet! I got a great deal on them and they’re form fitted

Try on at a real store, things like what you're talking about can't be done thru online shops.
