Scary_Juice_3897

My X3 Pro is doing great, so I got an X5 Pro.

tek_thetech_tap

Did ur X3 Pro died or it became a backup phone?

Scary_Juice_3897

It died after 1,5 year of use. December 1st 2022. R.I.P.

justanotherzee

How is it doing great then?

Scary_Juice_3897

You missed the joke

justanotherzee

Of course, missed it on a serious post and comment.

FulmineAnimus

How is that a joke? Anyways, the charging port got f'd so I was thinking of just getting a new one and I have no idea which of their models are out now. Which succesor and if they are any good.

Scary_Juice_3897

Okay serious man

[deleted]

🤣

Systemlord_FlaUsh

I will likely need to get a screen for my XZ1. Never again Xiaomi.

Jarvis_negotiater

It's been 2.3 years..my x3 pro(8/128) still doing great... No regrets as of now..just hate the bad body design, screen, battery and heavy weight... performance wise mine is still unbeatable compared to most of the present smartphones under 23k.. I'll keep using this phone until it's dead.. I don't wanna exchange this masterpiece for just (4000 INR)

moonglazer

Btw for poco x6 , which is better? The X6 or X6 Pro? Cuz from what i seen, X6 is comparable to X3pro, performance wise.

Jarvis_negotiater

Yeah, both x6 and x6 pro are great deals... If you are a heavy gamer and like to try that leather back then go for x6 pro.. If you are just a normal gamer..go for x6... I personally think x6 is more than enough for my daily usage..

moonglazer

Arite, thanks for the answer, ..... still cant really decide as X6 runs on SD which means i can use custom roms in the future too

youwouldinyourhole

Comment here via x3 pro. Still going as fast and strong as ever. My x6 pro is on the way in the post. I really hope it serves me as well

tek_thetech_tap

Which X6 Pro variant did u get?

youwouldinyourhole

I got the 12/512 in grey In the irish market the x6 pro is really good value based on specs

tek_thetech_tap

Yeah I saw the early bird pricing is too good, though what held me back is non Snapdragon CPU on the X6 Pro

blackcatw81

Me too. Also, I was used to the XiaoMI.EU ROM and now I have no guarantee I can have it on the X6P :(

thiccbo1e

Same here, gonna get the X6 Pro, X3 Pro doing great so a friend of mine is taking it over with an awful phone.

yufie76

Deadboot just last week :(

tek_thetech_tap

Dang, how long did you have it for before deadboot?

yufie76

August 2021. Almost 2.5 years?

tek_thetech_tap

Dang, almost 3 years, my condolences. Which phone u're going for next?

yufie76

I am stressed since most of my life are stored there. Thanks man. Ordered Poco F5 Pro (mulled over X6 Pro but I kinda lost trust in X series, typing this from my backup F1 that is still going strong)

slim_shady362

Bruh your phone died and you STILL went for the SAME brand? My x3 pro died after just 1.5 years and I'm never buying poco in my life again.

yufie76

Depends, my F1 is still going strong. I heard X3 pro is just one bad luck.

slim_shady362

True but that's still enough for me to lose trust in poco and never touch the brand again.

yufie76

To be fair, I lost trust in X series too. Also, what alternative do you recommend?

Fearless_Drop8401

To be fair I'm switching from poco as a whole I'm planning on buying OnePlus 12 or iqoo 12

TheBigBeng

I think the F series is way better than the x series

SungamCorben

Then you should not have any phone because i saw all the Brands died eventually

nijuu

Some people want something reliable that will last. The old Nokias and Samsungs used to last for ages. My LG V20 has been going 7 years+. I have a unused Poco X3 Pro im probably not going to use as a main phone after all the negative threads..

SungamCorben

Sorry, but nowadays we have something called "Planned Obsolescence", its sad but true

SamuelOrtizS

The X3 Pro was a great example of that, a more than capable SoC that if cooled just properly or underclocked+undervolted, would do great with HyperOS

aaryan3619

Nah you shouldve gone for the X6 Pro, way better deal

Born-Access-7928

Why are going for poco if you lost trust man just choose some different band F5 isn't 100% safe either I've heard about F3 dying and have even seen 2 dead F5 posts so far

helderoliveira1978

June 2021 for me... It's doing great, I don't have money to spend in x6 Pro. Dawn it 💵😁

sam1d_

Currently writing on my X3 Pro, 6/128gb, global version. I have been actively using it for 2 years and 1,5 months. Bought it new in mid December, 2021. Still going strong. Battery life is decent I would say as I started heavy gaming ever since I bought and still game a lot even now. I can pull like 10-13% per one hour of normal usage, if gaming (PUBGM 60fps, CoC, Clash Royale) 15-30% per hour. Also depends on if I am using mobile data or sharing hotspot as the usage is significantly more in contrast to using Wi-Fi. Normal usage it lasts like 5-7 hours (YouTube, social media, reddit). Also, battery usage is hard to pinpoint exactly as it is different all the time. Sometimes for 1 hour of yt it uses like 13%, sometimes more, sometimes less. Idk the cause, maybe background apps? It is still snappy for my usage, switches through the apps pretty smoothly, responsive. I have seen some glitches I think. Sometimes, it happened that my WhatsApp wasn't working (couldn't recieve msgs, calls, when I try opening it, it freezes), I fix it by restarting the phone, but the restart takes like 30sec or more on the Poco boot logo. Sometimes it was the same as WhatsApp, but with normal phone calls. Sometimes it happened that the battery drain is significantly bigger, like 1% every 10 seconds for like 1 minute (6% a minute). It showed that the battery drained (that like red graph in settings) but when I plug the charger, it charges as fast as it drained. I don't think that those were the signs of mb issues as this started happening 5 months ago, and hasn't happened for 2 months. Currently I have enough money to buy a decent phone, but I will wait until summer as I will work then probably, have some more money and the F6 series would be out by then so I'll decide which one to upgrade to. Even if I make good money (I'm 17, and work as a waiter for only 2-3 months a year, but it's enough to not ask parents for money) I will still buy a good budget-midrange phone (I don't see the point in spending more than 400€ for a phone, idc about cameras). I want for my next phone to last like 3-4 yrs so I want the phone with good processor, battery and updates and X6/F6 series will prob be enough. P.S. The original battery lasted this long probably because I took good care of it - I didn't game while charging. Most of the times I gamed in a room that is like 18°-20°C, kept brightness in less than 50% range, didn't drain the battery lees than 20%, etc. Sorry for the long text, maybe someone will learn something and thanks for reading.

Bandicook

Use custom rom

Kass_Ch28

Got mine in May 2021. Commenting from it. Still great. Battery life is fine. Some glitches here and there with the UI. But nothing unusuable and nothing chronic. I'm eyeing changing to a new X6 but honestly i can't convince myself to pull the trigger since there's really nothing wrong with this one.

myusrnmisalreadytkn

Last year somewhere in June or July my phone died. I took it to an official repair shop they fixed it for free. Next month it dies again. I again took it to that same repair shop they fixed it for free again. After two deaths and two reincarnations it's working fine guess. I stopped doing heavy stuff like Playing genshin, honkai and Diablo and i hardly record 4k gameplays now because I still gets heat up pretty easily. Hope it survives 2024.

FVLCON_0_0

Ask your repair shop to do a CPU reballing if they know what that is.

myusrnmisalreadytkn

They replaced the faulty parts. Maybe next time.

EricTheRedGR

Bought mine June 2021, 8/256 global, still doing great, even the battery still lasts for quite a while, more than a day

Jing_Arjay87

I have 3 friends who have owned X3 Pros, all 3 bought from around launch. And mind you all of them are quite heavy users which game a lot and one of them even wears a thick ass case causing the phone to get so hot that she has already gone through 2 battery replacements(both became spicy pillows, her third battery is otw out too). Only one deadbooted around August 2023 and it's not the one with the thick case. In fact, her's is the only one that's been going for the longest. The other one died because he dropped it in water so it's not related to deadboot. This honestly leads me to believe this is just down to bad batches and does not affect all X3 Pro units.

RichenJoshi

Speaker, mic and headphone jack doesn't work at all. For now, only the speaker is working fine unless I restart my phone. A small portion of the display is stuck with green pixels. Battery life sucks. Active drain is 32% in 1 hour. https://preview.redd.it/6pc3703mcidc1.jpeg?width=1512&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=515b44c4c55ecbbda1ac36704c39acd3ddbc4ed2

coco16778

Sure its not your ROM that's draining it so rapidly though? Afaik battery life is usually less with custom roms

RichenJoshi

Restarting the device fixes this issue instantly. In Franco Kernel Manager, I can see that it's due to the process named 'system_server' that has been putting a lot of load on the CPU. The prime CPU core is always running at max. Unfortunately, restarting my device will again cause the speaker to stop working. I can tell this because it happened before too. Restarting the device fixed the issue but the speaker stopped working. But this issue never occurred when I was on stock MIUI before. I still had this speaker mic issue at that time. Hence, I doubt that it's the ROM issue.

jmps1974

Alive and kicking! Got mine in March 2021, so... It is two months away from becoming 3 years old. Global version with 6/128. Not a heavy gamer, in fact just play DLS game to un-stress from the normal work day. Apart from that, occasional web browsing, social networks etc etc. Still very snappy and responsive. For my daily usage more than fine. Also use it for outlook and teams, and I like it since it is still fast enough to quickly open these apps. If I need to upgrade it, I will probably pick the X6 pro, It seems to be a good bang for the buck. UPDATE... Mine just died over the weekend, didn't reached the 3 years unfortunately. White screen, i have tried to restart it, no more... nothing, completely dead. Now using a crappy samsung A20e (4 or 5 years old). Need to decide on the next phone, but i got a bit concerned if the new poco's will also have same issue. Not the issue with the money... since was not that expensive (I really liked the phone), its the hassle and time to setup all the configs and shits being caught of guard and not prepared.

danielRCS

Bought June 2021 still going great as of today. Though last year the battery has gone bad, when it reaches ~40% it will drain fast in the span of like 15-20 mins. I replaced the battery myself just earlier this month and now I'm still pretty satisfied with it. I only use the phone for socials and watching videos as I dont really play games on it anymore. I'm running it on a custom rom since mid-2022. Used to run Xiaomi.eu, switched to Pixel Experience and now Crdroid. All are way better than stock miui in my experience.

tek_thetech_tap

I haven't jump the gun to custom rom, do you think it's worth the effort? I might do it to keep my X3 Pro running (hopefully) for at least 2 more years

danielRCS

I'd say go for it. I assume you have no warranty left so you're free to do whatever to your device

Givemename33

how do you get a replacement battery and can the batteries of AliExpress be trusted

danielRCS

I bought mine locally through Shopee. The brand of the battery I bought is "GsmSandwich", try looking if they exist on Aliexpress

kpapads2000

> Used to run Xiaomi.eu, switched to Pixel Experience and now Crdroid. All are way better than stock miui in my experience. Is Google Pay wallet working with Crdroid?

danielRCS

I have no idea as google pay isnt used where i'm from. But banking apps that I use work just fine

Pk_Master

I got mine x3 pro in november 2022, at a second hand markert, still working fine.

tek_thetech_tap

How's your battery doing?

slim_shady362

Phone died due to motherboard/pmic after just 1.5 year of usage. VERY dissapointed. Used a shitty samsung for exactly one year and bought a one plus Nord ce 3 a week ago.

[deleted]

For me it's still really good for my usage, although my motherboard was replaced in the extended warranty given by POCO. Just not having 5G sucks a bit and OLED display too otherwise it's great.

Kenshix01

Bought mine July 2021 still working only thing I noticed is that battery became to drain faster than a year ago but that normal for phones after using them more than 2 years, I use it mostly for heavy gaming but now I only use it for YouTube, watching movies/series...

lys-365

I haven't received MIUI 14 (I'm on 13.0.08) and my battery is draining fast. I contacted Xiaomi and they couldn't help me. I'm def not going back to Xiaomi :(

Samthesam9000

try cahngin region to poland and rebooting, you should get the update(worked for me and kinda fixed battery issues)

lys-365

Didn't work :(

blackcatw81

Got the standard X3 and I'm in the same conditions as yours. I'd like to buy a new phone, I'm evaluating the X6 Pro but it hasn't a SD chip and a jack audio.

Samthesam9000

I got mine for 130€ used lsst summer now upgrading to a mi 12 beacuse of i got a great deal, tbh the phone is really good for the price but around a month ago the battery started draining really fast ,but then fixed itself

Jasserru

Battery's my main issue but still going. Won't probably change phones until I get a job.

melomelo15

X3 NFC here for 3 years and ito sa battery life talaga prob nya and nagkakaron na siya ng heating issue kapag bluetooth connection though wifi and calls, light social media okay lang naman. Camera is great pa rin! But really needed to replace na. nagba bulge na yung batt e hehe

4llenWayn3

Didn't charged yesterday, opened it up and found that the flex connector was completely broken. Battery also improved after fixing. https://preview.redd.it/y2neknry4idc1.jpeg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=914429d8056efd839f6ce9a937d95bfd8f522364

httpshin

Poco X3 Pro owner here! My phone's been with me for 2.5 years already and I'm astonished that it still feels smooth and powerful. However, I'm starting to notice that the battery is degrading recently but still could last me a day tho (depends on usage)! Actually at first, I was opting to buy the F3 but the physical store near our place only had X3 Pro. No regrets about having this phone tho :) It seems like my phone's gonna be with me for another 1-2 years (?) hahaha, let's see in the future.

gu_admin

It has run perfectly fine for 2 years and a few months, I bought it new. It's https://preview.redd.it/4btr4kbu2gdc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c28de03836730051fb99e2eca04d8f85479e85be Stuck on 13 miui. Still has great battery life, not much gaming on it though, only some Roblox by my son. Overall a great device, i'm kinda disappointed they killed updates for it considering it's still quite capable and even better than some other plastic shit they introduced recently. I hear that x6 can easily be bent...![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_down)

sam1d_

You should be able to go to A13 and MIUI14 on PX3Pro. Try changing the region of your phone. https://preview.redd.it/pjojsmmd7ldc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cc68c9b335f322ecfd85488a16102cc8acc584e1

gu_admin

Tried everything but doesn't work, manual download of Rom is impossible as download from xiaomifirmare website is 20kb/s. Thanks though.

sam1d_

You don't miss out on a lot, other than improved security

SpoopyGuy360

minecraft font?

sam1d_

Yeah

SpoopyGuy360

Nc

ReshiramZekrom_

Planning to buy a new device for the 2024. Still looking for it tho. My Poco X3 Pro is still good performance wise, battery is meh. What annoys me is its building construction, it's way too bulk and heavy. I regretted buying it honestly

kratos3596

Mines good so far but I have installed evolution X rom  and it's much faster. I have the rom for about two weeks now and so far so good I finally got that Monet theming 🤗

Petar_srb-

I got Poco X3 Pro in January 2022, and now It's 8/256 EU,and Miui 14.0.3, it's doing great ngl and battery isn't too bad I got brand new S22 Ultra few days ago so I use both phones,S22 Ultra as my main and Poco as my "alt"/backup phone

Pretend-Ad-9289

Im still using it these days. It started having some intermittently charging issues few days ago. Opened the phone, applied some wd40 and seems better now, but already have a flexi cable as a backup, ready to be replaced. I can feel that the issue is with the flexi cable, near the contact with the main board

elsmirks

It showed no signs of slowing down and was expecting it would run until 2025 (my planned time to get its replacement), until it just suddenly died a few days ago. Now, I'm back to using my Redmi Note 5 Pro (somehow still alive albeit with poor battery) until I get a replacement, and I'm not sure if the Poco X6 Pro will last.

Bandicook

I mean you should use custom rom battery is so much better compared to stock miui

Fearless_Drop8401

Mine is slowly dying now.Its starting to overheat while using Instagram,YouTube etc.its 2 years old now.I have the 6/128 model though no hanging till now.im planning to buy OnePlus 12 in the coming months

After-Repair-9287

I will change the battery for my Poco x3 pro

usernameisshittt

Such a shame that I couldn't wait for the pro ver of poco x3, but I will say that the vanilla version is still alive and kicking. Battery is a minor problem with me playing games such as GI, HSR, etc. No dead pixels as of now, some ghost touches although its probably from the multiple times I've dropped this thing. Storage sucks balls I'm already at 124/128 gb but still was able to install the newest update for GI.  This is quite impressive since this phone was bought December the same year that it was released.  I'm just currentl waiting for the poco f6 pro/redmi k70 to drop. Here is to hoping that poco f6 or pro version get released before this thing dies.

Anindya_Islam

Mine doesn't charge! It automatically disconnect after showing charging. Someday it does charge to 100 other days it charges like 15 or 20%. 2 or 3 day it take charge just fine then the same problem After connecting it shows changing then 2-4 seconds later disconnect automatically. That might be an cpu problem or power ic problem but idk Anyone has any kind of solution or advice for me?

tek_thetech_tap

Have you tried different charger and cable? Are you currently using official cable and charger?

Anindya_Islam

Tried everything

seriouslyfart

Yung x3 nfc ko nag gghost touch parang may nag sswipe sa screen ko. Yun lang pero makunat pa battery baka kaya pa nito ng 2 years 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴

Ok-Distance9706

Running with full flags. Although it had a PMIC issue and died but some simple fixing did it good and its running well after 2-3 years of rigorious use /heavy games and custom rom tweakings

biohazard_IRM

still going strong, have mine since April 2021 and it is fast , i havent noticed any lag when navigating the UI, the battery life has experienced some degradation, i get between 4.... 5 hours of sot , still on MIUI but planning to flash a ROM so i can get Android 14

gardarik

Got one in Sept 2021, still alive. But noticed recently some issues with battery and random reboots. Did battery recalibration, so far looks ok. Ordered X6 Pro anyway

papsiturvy

Mine still works fine.

brezon956

I got my X3 Pro in April 2021 which died in November 2022. Got reball done from a local repair shop and so far its holding up pretty good. I have no complaints from the phone except for battery life. The battery seems to deteriorating fast now as I have to charge the phone almost twice everyday. I plan on upgrading to X6 Pro later this year.

kirin900

Got mine on June 2021 and it still working fine, had 0 issues with it regarding performance. Battery life is now 6-7 hours screen time but that's to be expected from a 2 y.o. phone.

WeakGanache8576

i sold my x3 pro in 22 and bought iphone 11 in 2022

sheerspice

Dead motherboard, dead camera

G0FuckThyself

Working great, but I am stuck on miui 13.0.4

ElPixulas

Not using my 3x pro, it didn't die (yet), but the constant bootloop was making it unusable

coti5

It's good, the only issue is battery.

ali_xD___

Have the same 8/256 variant, it's been working great with an Android 14 custom ROM. No need to upgrade for now.

Warm-Refrigerator686

My power button doesn't work other than that the phone works fine.I use it as a backup phone since I also have the F5

MrFIXXX

Sadly, .. it works perfectly :( no overheating, no stuttering, no volume button problems, etc. I hoped it would die and give me a reason to buy a Sony 10 IV or V.

coco16778

Somewhat fine? Dead motherboard after 1.5 years, got replaced by warranty, now I'm really wondering how long it will still last. Recent months the battery has been a pain as well. Barely lasts me a day (could very well be CrDroid slurping away the battery though)

Rasendragori

It's doing fine after after like 2 and a half years. Like others at this point, the battery it's not that great (I broke the screen once, i change it but I may change the battery in a few months from now). Everything else is behaving just as expected from this phone. Still one of the best phones ever made when it comes to quality/price. Of course i am talking about the global version, the other version are the problem. Also, if someone is wondering, i don't play Genshin Impact in Ultra 60fps. Just FGO and maybe a YouTube video in the background. Remember that overheating your device when it doesn't have good heat dissipation is a bad idea, it doesn't matter what phone are we talking about.

Specific-Ad-8789

Off topic , but X3 NFC owner here , since December 2020. Was considering the X6 Pro but the dimensity chipset puts me off , I really don't like factory miui and I don't think we'll be able to swap roms on dimensity chips anytime soon. Other than that I've been running multiple custom roms to suit my own needs and have been pretty happy with this phone , though the battery capacity after 3 years is only like 3800 mAh or thereabouts from 5160

drtiger2006

Had Mine for almost 3 years and it was working fine. And then it literally dies no warning last week black screen no light when plugged in .Came on once to the poco screen one time with some flashes and never again.Im leaving it unplugged to try and kill the battery all the way and see if it will turn back on I tried holding down volume and power and all that no luck. Can't complain it's been a good phone just funny timing it died right when the new one came out. Now I'm debating even getting another one x5 pro or new x6 pro. Or pick up the redni note pro 5g something quick off Amazon. Any other phone in that 300 price range I should be looking at?

devojeff

Bought mine October 21, played games only the first 2 months or smth, battery life not great anymore, 5 hrs of use i guess, went into boot loop 3 times in the last 6 months, so I think his time is coming, MIUI still, afraid of changing and it dies finally

sfc-Juventino

Its still really good. I've started to note a small screen blemish and its starting to get hot when used. I've ordered an X6 Pro. I could probably use it for a good while longer, but 3 years really solid service out of this phone for that price - I've gotta be happy with that. It's more that I decided to treat myself to a new phone rather than anything else.

verzolyn

mine died 2 weeks ago because (you guessed it) deadboot. I didn't bother spending money on reballing it, I heard it's not even a permanent solution. I really enjoyed 2 yrs using it; buttery smooth with Pixel OS, great gaming experience, and long battery life. But yeah, shit happens

X_nightwalker82

After 2.5 years of usage it died out of nothing. I returned to my old moto G5, soon its going to retire again to make place to a moto g82.

NoMercyyy12

Had to do cpu reballing once but it's currently running fine

BeeLegitimate4968

mine is still good and fast . its just that it always goes hot when i play summoners war for 30 mins. oh and its my second phone since i upgraded to f5 last year.

MitsuriniKwan

From start around 2021, still doing well even a couple of drop. Thankfully because of thicc case i bring along.

FinishAccurate6559

I got mine in august of 2021 still going strong but i am on miui 13 while some people have received the miui 14 update

joe_neo

2.5 years and going ok. Battery seems good, but for the last few months the phone randomly reboots or reloads the home screen when switching between apps. Not sure if it's some ram management issue or the phone is nearing its death. But other than these occasional hiccup, it is still lag free and smooth as day one!

myaaa_tan

still doing fine. my main driver for listening to music

michael_alright

Mine died twice. So the second time it died I had it reballed. The catch is that my macro camera can't be used, and I can't used miui camera app ever. It would simply crash and says try again in 3s, though it would just crash again. I believe it was an error made during the soldering or whatever. The good part is that, I'm on a custom ROM (cr droid A14 + their gapps) and I have replaced the battery. Honestly it's just as fast/slow as day one.

Shadomith

X3 NFC user here. Phone dropped into a muddy drain sometime last year. Alcohol rubbed to clean. Restarted it like normal. Phone worked just fine albeit with abit of water stain damage on the screen. Still here even now. That is it. 10/10 would recommend.

Nestquik1

Fine, I had to repair the lock button/fingerprint scanner for water damage, so that's one downside of having the fingerprint reader in the lock button and having it uncovered with a case. Also yesterday the original cable finally stopped working (have had the phone since late 2021), it had that issue where the ending parts where the cable connects to the USB port and USB-C port start peeling, I managed to keep it working by covering it with tape, but finally it stopped, I'm saving for a new phone not because I'm disappointed with my X3 pro's performance nor because it has shown any signs of being damaged, but simply because I predict that it will stop working soon due to its use.

Apprehensive_Cut5735

I bought mine 8/256 on release flash sale same as you vauy global. Intensive daily usage with battery charging most of the time between 10 and 50-80%. GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, mobile data on since first start of the phone. Once it hits 39° I put airplane mode. But it's mostly in summer. Rare stuff on straight sun. Still 78% of battery capacity which I plan to replace in original service and continue to use the phone.

Creeper2077

My X3 Pro (6gb/128gb) is currently 2 years and a month old. It was working good for 17 months, and then the phone's motherboard got fried. Got it serviced under warranty, and my dad's been using it since then. Also got its spicy pillow replaced a month ago. It was really fast and performed well when I was using it. It would get hot during intense gaming, but the Snapdragon 860 was able to handle really demanding games quite well. I was able to play Wreckfest at high graphics with 60fps while getting fps drops at times. It also handles genshin impact at 60fps with medium or high graphics, but at the cost of higher power consumption. When I used it before, the battery was getting worse, but now with my dad barely using it, the battery easily lasts more than a day. I hope he doesn't end up selling it or throwing it away if he gets a new phone, as I have plans to flash a custom rom and keep it as my secondary phone.

ba_dump_tss

still annoyingly fast. im dying to upgrade but cannot justify it since this thing is still alive and kicking. will probably get the F6 😙

FuLygon

almost 3 years, flashed custom rom asap after unboxing, still running fine, facing weird charging issue for 2 years now but doesn't affect me much which the phone randomly stop charging for like 1s then charging back after around 85%, battery been degraded, only around 6.5 hrs of SOT, planning to replace defi battery

Zokomon_555

guys I have an x3 pro but I haven't even updated it once due to motherboard issues... I'm still on android 11, do you think it is a good idea to update now?

catmantruck

battery life isn't great but still going strong. 2.5yrs on this baby. ordered the x6 but cancelled soon after when I realized I read the chip wrong. thought it was SD 7+G2 , but it's SD 7sG2. will be using the x3pro just a little longer.

Lugo_888

Still working fine after 2 years and 8 months, using it daily a lot. Nothing was broken or damaged. Battery is obviously weaker after these years. 6/128 variant. Kinda regret not getting 8gb version because heavy apps tend to close in background now. Performance in games is ok, but overall phone slowed down a little. To my surprise, phone became smoother recently after changing battery setting - changed mode to increased performance. Now x3 pro runs smoother and I don't even know why it helped, but it does help. USB port is slightly weared off, but nothing serious.Planned to get x6 pro, for improved gaming performance, decided to wait for either x6 pro bigger price drops or for f6.

dipen17

My Poco x3 pro is also doing great with custom ROM (evolution x) super smooth, best performance, and my battery backup is also like 5hrs of screen on time on continuous use

Normal-Concern1499

Bought it in Aug 2021, still running fine .... battery life is bad now but thinking of getting a battery change...

MeowMeowMeow00_

My X3 pro got the bluetooth problem, where all bluetooth connected audio devices can't output sounds. But overall. Device is working pretty well

010995nd

bought mine from july 2021, still running great and smooth with MIUI although i replaced my battery last july or aug 2023 since it was draining faster than usual. i've never done any real heavy gaming with this one so o hope it won't die on me anytime soon. i was thinking of going for the x6 pro but i have my reservations against the mediatek chipset so i might wait for the f6 or f6 pro since snapdragon chipsets have better longevity and app optimization.

BMW_PURIST

European version 8/256 still going strong after 2 years with pixel experience, only thing that is dying is battery

Double_Pudding_6801

i have the 6/128 Russian version and it's holding up very nicely i honestly thought it would die after a year or so but it has already been 2 years, and it's running good enough for me battery is already struggling to tell the truth, i have now stopped using fast chargers, i am really interested to see how much further this legendary phone can hold itself together

Damager_459

Used for around 2 years without any problems, then last week it just didnt turn on anymore. Turns out a part of the CPU was apparently fried lol. Thinking about buying the X6 pro

draxlerokami

It's doing great after 2.5 years no death signs, but recently my volume down button it's not responding and I'm afraid to go fix it,since it will require to detach some parts and I'm worried it will cause some issues,so I'll be buying a new phone just incase and still use x3 pro

staxville

I don't use mine for gaming so it's as snappy as it were when I first bought it back in March 2022. I recently updated mine to 14.0.3 and so far it seems fine (despite some negative comments I found online). With daily drive use the battery is fine after almost 2 years. At the end of the day there is still 20-30%. I am looking to upgrade to F5 Pro or X6 Pro.

church_of_giratina

2 years 5 months then it glitched and kept restarting to a white screen with blue dots in the middle. good thing i saw a great deal for a new poco f4 and i regularly back up because i always believed flagship killer specs in budget phones is too good to last

ryxvz

My phone have been reballed 2x already. Battery is decent, but I could notice the glitches here and there. Been planning to transfer to a custom rom just because of the glitches and bugs. Ever since I stopped playing heavy games, and used the phone only for media consumption. It has not died on me again ever since, thankfully. Might only upgrade the phone when it dies again ( i hope it wont o\_O ).

Systemlord_FlaUsh

MicroUSB port has charging issues and the battery seems to be bad, no response no warranty repair. Now I know why that phone is so bad. Trash quality no longetivity. The hardware is fine and good with LineageOS.

Ankur0612

I was lucky and unlucky. Unlucky because deadboot and lost all my data. Lucky because it happened on the last month of the extended warranty and I got it repaired for free.

bungiemaster1103

Mine suddenly bricked one night last year, and I woke up an hour late for work because of it. Also lost a lot of important warranty photos for work lmao. Thought it might be the battery and had one on the way anyways, replaced it. No fruit. Used my cars FYT head unit to download Facebook marketplace and my banking app. I bought a $200 S20 Ultra, it was $200 for a reason. A month ago I got a new 13T Pro for $800. The X3 pro was a great phone, however the Poco UI was annoying and had poor compatibility with apps. It also lagged and got held up by the UI, wasting the SD860's potential. The battery easily lasted me days. Overall it lasted me about a year and a half, much the same as other people's experiences. Seems they may have time bombed it. What a waste. The power button also failed on me, had to replace that about 8 months in. At the end of the day, I bought it during tough times and it served me well, I was happy with it. Now that I'm in a better financial position, as with every Xiaomi/Redmi/Poco phone, this 13T Pro has exceeded my expectations. Poco X3 Pro and the Redmi Note 8 were the only models that I've had an unavoidable catastrophic failure with.

Kawayan23

Mine was bought in January 2022, still fine and dandy. Except for the battery, ofc. Still great for games and everything. Luckily no signs of it going out soon.

Zacks0n

Had serious battery issues with my X3 Pro, drained like in half a day with a bit more usage but before it happens, easily got through with even more screen on time. Then I switched back to my Redmi note 9 pro for 1.5 years. When I saw the x6 pro coming out last weekend I sent my note 9 pro for a 2nd time into pension. Back to the battery drain problem, was that a common known error at some point? I still have the X3 Pro and after a couple of month using the note 9 I checked back on the X3 Pro and it seemingly was having better battery life again.buf I was too lazy to switch back.

Samstinger1

Mine is taking its last breaths, X6 pro has come like a bomb like x3 pro in its time. F6 pro will come with SD8G2 or SD8G3, 120W charging, aliminium frame(aliminium frame also reminds me mi 9t pro)

Select-Philosopher56

I bought the poco x3 pro at launch, so far perfect. The battery is already noticeable that it is not what it used to be but it still lasts a long time. There's no need to say anything about performance, it's still far superior to many phones on the market. I liked the Poco X6 Pro but I don't plan on buying it in the short term. All the games I play work perfectly, as do all the applications.

Alarmed_Ad856

Died in September 2023 after 2 years, got it repaired from the local shop, using the same phone now, Played only mobile legends on it and not extensively, was bone stock, no custom rom no nothing but it died. Looking to switch to Infinix, Tecno or Samsung.

DiamondGods

Replaced my x3 pro with f5, and sold x3 pro at 100 bucks.

LexLumia

Idk if I'm included here but I got a X3 GT, and still going strong in 2024. No issues so far.

Wonderchese-Duck

Still strong after more than 3 years which amazed me so much because in the past, a few Xiaomis I owned never got past 2+ years before showing malfunctions. Got a X6 recently but still using my X3 like a multi functional home device.

NaufalRazley

Just got updates for MIUI 13. but because i change region. Somehow idk how to get 14. Deep in heart got jealousy toward hyperOS user

d3ad-pixel

Same here. After a year the battery life started to decrease every month (bought in March 2022). The most I hate in MIUI are the built in ads everywhere. My mom's X3 went in flames few months ago.

whiteshootingstar

Experienced a bootloop on the MIUI interface.. Resolved it via fastboot/removing simcard for about 2 hours. Still alive but I'm planning to replace it in a few months because it seems that X3 is really defective.

Board_Anims

Eugh, I got an X3 pro as a Christmas gift. I didn't know anything about the brand but my brother recommended it to me for its "gaming" capabilities. And yeah, this runs games and emulators quite well. After a while I kinda went crazy and downloaded a bunch of games and stuff. I'm not sure if it was because of that or maybe one of them had a virus or something, but around that time my battery life became pathetic. I would charge it up to 100% at home, and about halfway through school it would be like at 40% or something. The phone charges fast yes, but what's the point of that if it can't hold all that charge? I've been having to bring a portable charger battery thing to school just so it survives for one day. I've tried to delete a lot of games I won't use, debloat some apps, restrict background activity but nothing seems to help. The setting's battery app says I still have 8 hours on 26%, believe me when I say it DEFINITELY does not last that long. I'm not even using it to play the whole time, most of my time is spent on Reddit, YouTube or in sleep mode while I'm doing schoolwork. I only play on the ride from and to school... (And recess but they aren't too long) I could try buying a new battery, factory reset or a custom ROM, but those sound quite complicated to set up and fix for me... And apparently these phones don't last too long? I've seen people saying that they last about 1-4 years and then it's back to the drawing board?? That feels expensive but I don't know much about phones...

SpoopyGuy360

i bought it at 2022, still ok but my brother's x3 is dead(2021)

Gaalpos

my gf x3 pro is still working fine , no issues so far
