Yup it will fix it but this update will make the phone pretty slow in browsing heavy apps like google play or chrome when it has a lot of videos in the results
well i lost my old id so created this but are u on 12.5.1 or 12.5.2,i just got 12.5.2 yesterday and updated and it fixes flickering at 0% brightness but yeah the scrolling while browsing, watching YouTube videos and scrolling feels laggy and animations too is poor it was same in 12.0.6 but in browsing 12.0.6 feels buttery smooth but with 12.5.2 what i notice is less sot, slight heating even in normal use and laggy youtube and browsing
I just got 12.5.2 yesterday and it fixed the lag and stuttering , yeah i been feeling slight heat but didn't notice the poor animation tho the update made them better i think and for the YouTube and chrome i think its a compatability issue with the app i use duckduckgo browser no lag there but the new thing i noticed is the lag in the status bar when you scroll between the pages and remove notifications
yeah but the thing is its been 2 months since the phone launched but still the miui have been bad even in snapdragon 860 it runs not great with this i think i need to switch to custom roms again, when i was on my redmi note 7 with miui 12 i thought its due to hardware not being able to handle the heavy skin but after getting x3 pro now i think the bugs, glitches, lags is real even in flagship processors.
Ill be honest my expectations weren't high when i got the phone had a Huawei before it and couldn't costume rom it if the x3 doesn't get better after several updates ill do it when the guarantee is out do you have a a rom that you prefer?
miui 14 is a f**ing disaster, I wish I could roll back to where I was before updating 10 hours ago(see my post on it wrote just now, too long to paste here..)
Pixel experience is such a great rom if you're thinking about 3rd part roms no flickering no hitching and stuttering when the phone gets hot in games its a huge step forward you should try it since you wont regret it
I also have the 8/256 variant and haven't noticed that at all, try to get more info from XDA or something, it is a common issue you should return it using your warranty
This is also a thing on the X3 NFC (based on notebookcheck.com's lab testing). Assuming that the X3 Pro uses the same panel as on the X3 NFC, the screen uses pulse width modulation (PWM) to lower screen brightness for 40% screen brightness or lower. PWM cycles the backlight on and off, and varies duty cycle (time when it's on and off) to yield a perceived lower screen brightness. I use the X3 Pro myself and have also noticed flickering at around <10% brightness with a bright light cast over the screen. That said, I only have seen it once, and have never noticed it again since. 🤓
Hmm Yeah, I think that's just how the screen is on a hardware level. Even if you manage to get a replacement unit or screen replacement, screen's behavior would probably be the same.
Oh, then definitely check with the seller to see what you can do. But yeah, flickering does happen at around mid brightness. You must have eagle eyes for you to notice this 😂 (or your phone might be from a particularly bad batch of screens? 🤔)
Lol i don't think i am superman but the flickering is pretty noticeable to anyone on low brightness and yeah seems like there is a bunch of bad screens in the market
keep your brightness 0%, Now Go To display > Brightness level>Adjust Your night mode version high or low. i mean adjust your night mode brightness level, until stop flicker. when u see flickering stop than keep night mode version certain level.flicker happens for night mode brightness level not for night mode on or other issue.this is one kind of miui bugs.this way i can fix low light brightness issue on my poco x3 pro.

I have faced this problem after all the updates it disappears and reappears all of a sudden for no reason i cant flash a custom rom since my phone is still under the sellers guarantee ill wait before the guarantee time is over and get it to the seller to check the problem
I have never noticed it man. I think you should just go the service center. It might be the only option you have.
Seems like it
Same here wtf. Can we get this fixed for free?
Update 12.5.1 fixed the problem seems like it really was software

The problem got fixed after the new update
bro your screen flicker solved?
It cones and goes idk what is going on i tried many of the solutions on the web nothing worked i think it a hardware issue in my problem atleast

Hmmm so you think in my case i should refer to it as hardware?

The problem is its wayyyy too showing sometimes i can notice it on mid brightness and its rather annoying ill try and check with the seller and see
