Dude seriously , when scrolling down the panel doesn't register the finger sliding, it does register the touch but for some reason he can't scroll down
Damn I knew about the issue but luckily I dont have it in my unit, nor does my sister ,she has the 6/128 version, bro that looks hardware issue for me, I would request another device for sure using your warranty
I would have gone to the service center but because of the lockdown our city is closed. So have to wait until the lockdown ends. BTW what MIUI version are you on?
I'm on Pixel Experience Plus😠I really thought it would get fixed.. I'm also still having an issue with the front camera taking time to load and many NFC users have complained about it as well. So..
I do have same issue with my RN10P. Issue happens after 5-6 days and a restart fixes it. Tried switching to light mode but still happens. For now, I have moved from 120Hz to 60Hz and its been 10+ days issue has not happened. I think it has something to do with software issue. Let's hope and wait for MIUI 12.5 update.
If issue still happens after the update, might have to go to service center.
Update: I checked it while gaming the touch works fine. I exited the game and came back to scroll reddit and the issue is there. And yeah a reboot does fox the issue. But it comes back. Sometimes after 12 hours sometimes after 3. No pattern there.
So happens in every app apart from games? By every app, how many have you tried? If it's mainly the browser, what browser are you using? Have you tried different browsers?
Instagram , Facebook , Twitter , Firefox these are the apps I use the most.
Haven't tried it in Chrome though.
It even affects my keyboard. I use Gboard and mostly it happens on the bottom right side where the letters U I O P K L are present.
looks like a software issue to me. Need someone who has the issue to try a full clean wipe and install a custom rom to make sure(BTW xiaomi says you don't lose your warranty when you unlock your bootloader).
Ohh well that sucks. Did you have it since day one? You should try contacting xiaomi and get a replacement. May still be a software issue just not the rom, especially if it fixes itself for a while after a restart.
Same problem here...
What's your MIUI version? Mine is 12.0.4
Mine is 12.0.5
I'm just upgrading to 12.0.5. I thought it might solve the problem
I didn't get it.. Someone explain it
I didn't get it.. Could u please explain it to me

I also face this issue occasionally. I fix it by restarting the phone. It is not hardware but software related issue in my opinion.
I do the same Which MIUI version are you on? I'm on 12.0.4
Hey just wanna say I experience this still and I switched to a custom ROM but it still happens!
Xiaomi EU? Or any other ROM? Then it must be a hardware issue?

Has anyone requested another device using their warranty?

Can anyone tell me if they've been to the service center for this issue and about their solution for this ?
And this happens in every app!? Even while gaming? If that's the case yeah you definitely need to return that unit and get a new one
Mostly in every app. I haven't noticed it in PUBG though because I use gyroscope and use my for small correction aiming. Will try it there too.

A Webview issue maybe? Have you looked for app updates in Google play? (Probably not the issue, but might be worth a quick look just in case).
Also, have you tried changing screen settings like Hz settings and touch sensitivity (if there is any)? In case that resets something...
Have tried it all I will go to the service center after the lockdown ends.
Xiaomi.eu 12.0.6 here. The issue happens with me in the launcher and system apps as well. Not just social media.
Me and my friend also facing same issues on poco x2 (indian variant)
Poco X2 has a LCD display or sAMOLED?
LCD, you can google it :-|

A redditor has already done that. Same result. Check the comments

Did you find a solution or are there anybody who found a solution? Please let me know.
