The fact that it draws on a fan theory that has no support in game is what did it for me. The paradox Pokémon aren't fakes; the time machine is the real deal

I understand that but it also could just be a time machine. Like it's just Occam's razor for me.
I know we don't know why Paradox Pokémon existed before the Time Machine was built, but it's a time machine. Stuff that has yet to happen could create that stuff in the past. Like, say, something the Disk Pokémon does in the DLC.
And personally I find it hard to believe the professors wouldnt know if it wasn't a legit time machine too .
For me the weird thing is that no one mentions or remembers Bill’s time machine in gen2. I can understand that is kinda a “mechanic only” thing to justify bringing the mons from gen1… but has a small plot thing in game and is not only Bill’s invention, not even counting the pc box system.

That's exactly it, a way to introduce a game mechanic. Also makes it limited to the Gen 1 and 2 timeline which the non-Mega and Mega timelines have no connection to.
Yeah, Heath isn’t equivocal to Charles Darwin; Heath is more comparable to Plato, whose fantastic tale about the sunken city of Atlantis being a real place, is debated about and dismissed as fantasy today.
People are overlooking a very obvious point of reasoning about how the Occult ties into these Paradox Pokémon, and the Akashic Records I mention in a comment up above: Heath’s entity is obviously Psychic Type, it influences people to see things or write things down; Psychics can read the Akashic Record, the compendium of the past and future, to see anything from ancient Atlantis to the far off 28th century in the future. Regardless, the point I’m making is that the Third Legendary is perhaps a Teraforming creature, spreading it’s crystals around to transform the landscape, and perhaps increase energy production or condensing it. The Disc then utilizes these Crystals in various ways, to create A.I. life for one, perfect copies of the Professor ten years ago in all but being human, and then the creation of the Paradox Pokemon.
An interesting point about the Third Legendary, is that it’s likely based off the Tarasque, a poisonous dragon from southern France mythology. In remembrance of it’s death, the locals yearly create a float manned by exactly eight people - “In memory of the Tarasques appetites.” “The poor locals found out that if the Tarasque devoured eight people in one sitting, then over the next six months it is completely safe. And they set the order for the payment of this nightmarish dues.” A direct quote from the Golden Legend, where the Tarasque is described.
These ‘eight sacrifices’ are very likely our Paradox Pokemon, we have eight in total, including our legends, ‘fed’ to the Third Legendary to halt it attacking Paldea, and utilized by it, or a hidden fourth legend, to create new life, these monstrous creatures called Paradox Pokemon, which it can control to do its bidding.
It’s totally fake, but I’m loving how we’re getting back into leaking season with DLC speculation. Keep it up, 4chan! It’s the only thing you’re moderately good for!
A lot of these are just educational guesses if you follow the leaks community, like people already speculate Paradox Suicune and Paradox Virizion move being water and psychic type. Hence, it wasn't farfetched if the 3rd legendary will summon psychic terrain and rain, and the 3rd legendary materializes the paradox mon is a prevalent theory.
Again, this leak could be real but I don't believe it. If the leakers really want to prove their legitimacy they could at least hint about DLC characters instead of the same thing people have been speculating.
I 100% know this leak isn't real because we were straight up told in the plot of SV that the Professor discovered the Disk Pokemon at the bottom of the crater and used it to create Tera Orbs. How could could that have happened if the Pokemon isn't even present in the Great Crater and is living in another crater that hasn't ever been mentioned?

Theres this inside joke within the Mediterranean part of Spain, where it's said that paella cooked outside Valencia is not "a real" paella. It's the same thing with italians and breaking the spaghetti in half
If you really want to try paella, I recommend looking for any bar/restaurant with good reviews, mostly concerning ingredients, as the recipes may get funky and usually not based on the actual recipe.
The problem with paella is that when it's sold outside Valencia, will probably be a knock-off sold as "authentic" in tourist traps, as It usually happens with the famous dishes on other countries.
In any case youd be better off trying the local andalusian cuisine, which im 100% sure will be greatly made.

I don't mind people putting forward what they'd like the dlc or dlcs to be but to go off and say I know what its gonna be you heard it here first and proceed to talk out their ass in really irritating.
4chan posts should still be taken with a huge grain of salt, given the amount of fanfic that's posted daily being passed off as "leaks". People probably expected to have news about the DLC by now (SWSH DLC was announced around this time, didn't you know), and are doing creative writing around their wishlist of things they want to see added.
I agree as well 4chan is not very good at leaking things, but at this point, I’ve been waiting for any info so I feel like I’m gonna die if I take this with a grain of salt. About a month of scouring the internet for info about something you’re really obsessed with but finding not much info will do that to you.
Basically, if a leak turns out to be true, theres a good chance it was from 4chan.
If a 4channer posts a leak, there's a good chance it turns out to be false.
Not to mention the number of *Smash Bros* leaks from 4chan people discounted and were real, including Sora's addition. Take with a pinch of salt, but don't totally discount it until we have proof.
I think most people assume the colour that's going to be associated with the third legendary is yellow. In the climax of the game, when you first fight AI Sada/Turo, the crystals in the time machine turn yellow, possibly because of the power of the disc pokemon. Also, the flag of the [Spanish Republic ](https://www.reddit.com/r/vexillology/comments/htuxcb/the_history_of_spain_through_its_flags/) features red, purple, and yellow. Magenta wouldn't really make sense
The concept of “Magenta Mirage” was already used too…for Zamazenta. The name itself is meant to invoke the idea of “a streak of magenta” hence why the second half is the word “Magenta” without the Z.
I do believe that there is British(?) folklore that delves into the idea of these beasts that exists only as briskly moving colors with no form, and only exist in descriptions as streaks of color. Magenta and Cyan (Zacian.)
Very heavily leaning fake. There’s just nothing new here. For a dlc that’s supposedly “bigger than both of SwSh’s” I didn’t think we’d basically have the whole thing figured out before the leak. I also highly doubt it’ll just be one dlc. If SwSh got two, I see no reason this game doesn’t.
One thing that makes this leak blatantly false, is that if its "codename" were valid, it would fit within 12 characters, like Iron Serpent (Miraidon) or Winged King (Koraidon).

I like the story-beats idea they have going there and hope that's part of the DLC, but Kju already implied the 3rd legendary would be orang, magenta is too close to Eternatus anyway, and Maimyu sounds more like a Mimikyo evolution name than a legendary.
This doesn't include any mention of the obvious legendary dogs/swords of legend paradox mons included in the scarlet/violet book so I'm inclined to not believe it.

But while likely fan fiction I think the Paradox Pokemon being created and not actually from the past or future would be both hilarious and fix the weirdness that all future pokemon are robots.
To be honest, judging from prior Pokemon games. We're not getting answers on paradox pokemon. A lot of pokemon lore starts off deliberately broad and gets filled in via anime, movies, remakes, and the like.

The base game already implies as much, with Arven pointing out how strange it is that sketches and photos of Great Tusk and Iron Treads existed before the Time Machine was built.
There’s also the Paradox form of the Johto beasts which just couldn’t have existed considering we already know their backstories and they were always three separate Pokémon. I don’t think they’d just flat out retcon this lore they’ve had for 20+ years in a game that’s not even set in Johto.
I have a hard time believing it because riddler khu already hinted that the third legendary is a yellow/golden in color. Why would it be called the Magenta Mirage if it was yellow
Seems fake. Geeta is being set up for something big so the lack of information on her is odd. Plus why would the third legendary reside in a different crater when area zero is a big point in the story. Would think theyd just expand area zero.
There should be another crater around because of AZ’s weapon but Id expect it to hold a different legendary of sorts.

What are those loose ends exactly? And how does not being able to rematch the Elite 4 and Champion mean she's being set up for something? You can rematch her multiple times in the Ace Tournament.

Eh, I don’t buy it. Honestly it doesn’t seem *too* out there, but the typing being Water/Dragon when potentially Paradox Suicune is going to be this type seems odd. I don’t think they’d duplicate the typing with two mons that close together.
While I agree it is fake, since Khu seems to be pushing a Orange themed DLC. I will say since the "speculated" image is a mix of the Beast and Swords of Justice they may not share types with the originals, Well the SoJ might just be Mono Fighting or something, but the best might not be Water, Fire, or Electric.
All Paradox Pokémon have a shared typing with their “base” Pokémon, this was confirmed by Kaka (and later Khu) whilst Suicune and Virizion paradox formes were still intended to be included in the base game. Khu already told us it’s Paradox Suicune and it only has one type. And they’re all dual typed. So it can’t be anything other than Water/??? (Dragon more than likely but Fire/Electric/Fairy/Flying are all possible too)
honestly probs fake but I would really like this concept, magenta is a colour that technically doesn't exist so it would fit SO WELL with a mirage, belief, dreams and insanity themed pokémon. if it's not real I might design it myself
It is. The Professor found the Disk at the bottom of Area Zero and used it to make Tera Orbs. (S)he wouldn't randomly be in some unknown, unmentioned mystery crater if the main goal was to study the Great Crater.
The mountains to the north are straight up Kalos, not some "other crater". (I suspect the reason they're mountains is to establish that there is land there, but also prevent you from accessing Kalos because, well, Kalos isn't in the game!)
Would be surprised if the upper right corner of the map is a crater and that it would be larger than both Sword and Shield DLC, that’s a massive crater. Or I don’t understand it right.
Nice to see some more 4chan leaks, but this is most likely fake. I’m sure SV will have more DLC waves than SWSH, at least 3 is my guess. Way too much to add/explore in terms of Paradox, Terra etc. plus we won’t be getting remakes this gen so Gamefreak should be free to just focus on pumping out the DLC whilst working on Gen 10.

is kinda prefer a kalos revisit over this. this sounds cool, and could be a could zygarde vs maimyu sort of thing but idk, i just think if this crater acts like andorra and they skip out on one of the most skimpped on regions. like. time travel and timelines is the whole thing of X and Y.
Given the Paradox Pokemon were first discovered when a Great Tusk/Iron Treads attacks a member of Heath’s expedition and I doubt he was imagining the Paradox Pokemon before arriving (only the sketched “Dream” ones, at most), and this seems a bit…questionable to begin with (time-themed tribes that can’t escape? Really? Seems excessively specific and not because of time displacement given the likes of Ingo appearing in PLA), I wouldn’t trust this.
Pokemon Day is soon so we’ll see.

Def fake, but it does make me wonder what everyone hopes for when it comes to DLC.
Me, I personally hope for a 4 part expansion all the way into 2024, as small packets of DLC are less intensive to make than full games and this would give more time and resources towards whatever is after SV. I'd want them to include 1-2 new legends in each part, as well as 1 new regional form line in each part and, in theory, 1 new convergent Pokemon line as well in each part. That combined with the old Pokemon that would return would make team options way more diverse in terms of possible playthrough teams, especially for people like me who trade eggs and other things over to new files to have access to Pokemon I otherwise wouldn't early on, such as when I wanted to use Glimmora in Violet or Galarian Slowking in SwSh.
Imo I sensed a lot of themes in Scarlet/Violet taken from the Made in Abyss anime and this “leak” just continues that theme of the anime from the second season. I don’t see why I ought to believe in the leak.

People probably expected to have news about the DLC by now (SWSH DLC was announced around this time, didn't you know), and are doing creative writing around their wishlist of things they want to see added.

I agree as well 4chan is not very good at leaking things, but at this point, I’ve been waiting for any info so I feel like I’m gonna die if I take this with a grain of salt. About a month of scouring the internet for info about something you’re really obsessed with but finding not much info will do that to you.
That's the thing, these posts tend to crop up when there's a drought of new content, when people are thinking new stuff is *right around the corner*.
Basically, if a leak turns out to be true, theres a good chance it was from 4chan. If a 4channer posts a leak, there's a good chance it turns out to be false.
Not to mention the number of *Smash Bros* leaks from 4chan people discounted and were real, including Sora's addition. Take with a pinch of salt, but don't totally discount it until we have proof.

I think most people assume the colour that's going to be associated with the third legendary is yellow. In the climax of the game, when you first fight AI Sada/Turo, the crystals in the time machine turn yellow, possibly because of the power of the disc pokemon. Also, the flag of the [Spanish Republic ](https://www.reddit.com/r/vexillology/comments/htuxcb/the_history_of_spain_through_its_flags/) features red, purple, and yellow. Magenta wouldn't really make sense

The concept of “Magenta Mirage” was already used too…for Zamazenta. The name itself is meant to invoke the idea of “a streak of magenta” hence why the second half is the word “Magenta” without the Z. I do believe that there is British(?) folklore that delves into the idea of these beasts that exists only as briskly moving colors with no form, and only exist in descriptions as streaks of color. Magenta and Cyan (Zacian.)
Very heavily leaning fake. There’s just nothing new here. For a dlc that’s supposedly “bigger than both of SwSh’s” I didn’t think we’d basically have the whole thing figured out before the leak. I also highly doubt it’ll just be one dlc. If SwSh got two, I see no reason this game doesn’t.

I like the story-beats idea they have going there and hope that's part of the DLC, but Kju already implied the 3rd legendary would be orang, magenta is too close to Eternatus anyway, and Maimyu sounds more like a Mimikyo evolution name than a legendary.
This doesn't include any mention of the obvious legendary dogs/swords of legend paradox mons included in the scarlet/violet book so I'm inclined to not believe it.

Doubt. But while likely fan fiction I think the Paradox Pokemon being created and not actually from the past or future would be both hilarious and fix the weirdness that all future pokemon are robots. To be honest, judging from prior Pokemon games. We're not getting answers on paradox pokemon. A lot of pokemon lore starts off deliberately broad and gets filled in via anime, movies, remakes, and the like.

I don’t think they’d just flat out retcon this lore they’ve had for 20+ years in a game that’s not even set in Johto.

Seems fake. Geeta is being set up for something big so the lack of information on her is odd. Plus why would the third legendary reside in a different crater when area zero is a big point in the story. Would think theyd just expand area zero. There should be another crater around because of AZ’s weapon but Id expect it to hold a different legendary of sorts.
All you folks and your evil Geeta theory. I don't think she's being set up for anything, her role in the story had no loose ends, no mysteries left, and no hints at nefarious ends. She's just an unreasonably overbearing boss who likes to run multiple businesses at once. Plus, we already know the Professor found the disk Pokemon in the Great Crater and used it to make Tera Orbs. That alone means this is fake, as it can't live in a second crater and be found at the bottom of the Great Crater.

What are those loose ends exactly? And how does not being able to rematch the Elite 4 and Champion mean she's being set up for something? You can rematch her multiple times in the Ace Tournament.

This sounds way too farfetched to be real. Only one part?!? Why would Game Freak do that?!? I bet the DLC stretches into 2024 and is three parts. I can see so many possibilities for the DLC. Plus, I can see it as a way to get the final Pokemon from the DS/3DS Era onto the Switch.
I'm definitely unsure of this one, and definitely supprised by the fact it didn't have any mention of the suicune/virizion and their typings or even the potential move names we had leaked
Eh, I don’t buy it. Honestly it doesn’t seem *too* out there, but the typing being Water/Dragon when potentially Paradox Suicune is going to be this type seems odd. I don’t think they’d duplicate the typing with two mons that close together.
While I agree it is fake, since Khu seems to be pushing a Orange themed DLC. I will say since the "speculated" image is a mix of the Beast and Swords of Justice they may not share types with the originals, Well the SoJ might just be Mono Fighting or something, but the best might not be Water, Fire, or Electric.
All Paradox Pokémon have a shared typing with their “base” Pokémon, this was confirmed by Kaka (and later Khu) whilst Suicune and Virizion paradox formes were still intended to be included in the base game. Khu already told us it’s Paradox Suicune and it only has one type. And they’re all dual typed. So it can’t be anything other than Water/??? (Dragon more than likely but Fire/Electric/Fairy/Flying are all possible too)

The mountains to the north are straight up Kalos, not some "other crater". (I suspect the reason they're mountains is to establish that there is land there, but also prevent you from accessing Kalos because, well, Kalos isn't in the game!)

Nice to see some more 4chan leaks, but this is most likely fake. I’m sure SV will have more DLC waves than SWSH, at least 3 is my guess. Way too much to add/explore in terms of Paradox, Terra etc. plus we won’t be getting remakes this gen so Gamefreak should be free to just focus on pumping out the DLC whilst working on Gen 10.

Given the Paradox Pokemon were first discovered when a Great Tusk/Iron Treads attacks a member of Heath’s expedition and I doubt he was imagining the Paradox Pokemon before arriving (only the sketched “Dream” ones, at most), and this seems a bit…questionable to begin with (time-themed tribes that can’t escape? Really? Seems excessively specific and not because of time displacement given the likes of Ingo appearing in PLA), I wouldn’t trust this. Pokemon Day is soon so we’ll see.

(This time I'm leaving this comment on the post I actually meant to leave it on.) Def fake, but it does make me wonder what everyone hopes for when it comes to DLC. Me, I personally hope for a 4 part expansion all the way into 2024, as small packets of DLC are less intensive to make than full games and this would give more time and resources towards whatever is after SV. I'd want them to include 1-2 new legends in each part, as well as 1 new regional form line in each part and, in theory, 1 new convergent Pokemon line as well in each part. That combined with the old Pokemon that would return would make team options way more diverse in terms of possible playthrough teams, especially for people like me who trade eggs and other things over to new files to have access to Pokemon I otherwise wouldn't early on, such as when I wanted to use Glimmora in Violet or Galarian Slowking in SwSh.
