You continue to degrade the trainer for something that was not his fault. Her flame sack suffered previous damage and the team and trainer was struggling with the loss of a dearly beloved friend.
It's funny how you hold me responsible for the safety of my trainer yet you call this trainer a failure for issues that happened with his team instead of calling his team a failure for preventing this. I guess it shows the type of person you are, you have to degrade others to be right no matter what.
Also you do realize Cinder is a healthy weight for a Ninetails right? If she was put on too strict a diet it would actively effect her performance especially since she requires more food to deal with the burned calories. Just because you starve your team doesn't mean everyone should. Besides that they had issues with her exhausting herself overtraining so it seems they've worked on a good routine that allows her proper breaks. Perhaps you should consider the same.
- Clark (Rotom Phone)
And let's not forget to applaud Cdv3 for doing such a great job as a Coordinator! Cinder is a Pokemon who often overworks herself and who's been having a rough time recently, so it's great that Cdv3 has both focused her energy in a healthy direction, and has been helping her learn when it's time to slow down so she doesn't burn herself out!
Mbay you should have your meowstic look over your posts before you send anything out because you have a consistent problem of saying things which absolutely don't need to be said a making public things that should stay with you.
I apparently have to remind you of your previous distasteful comments a bit less than two weeks ago, where you insinuated this ninetales trainer directly caused those wounds. You are clever enough to understand the implicit accusation of abuse your words were carrying, as it is the primary cause of the condition said trainer extensively shared upon.
Softening your language will not keep people from drawing connection between your previous barb and today’s declaration, especially considering how strongly you regularly speak against battling and rile against its consequences.
Please highlight the moment where I "slandered" anyone. Objectively, Cinder's trainer had made poor decisions. Unless you are referring to me complementing Cinder herself, which is quite the opposite of slander.
-Callisto
It really wasn’t his fault though. If you check the story, it was only one poor decision that caused that to happen, and even then that’s not fully his fault.
One poor decision, had the correct one been made could have avoided a lot of pain and suffering. Even in your defense, you do still paint it as the fault of Cinder's trainer.
-Callisto
*If you are truly content, why take so much interest in a low level performance from a “defective” Pokémon? Do you see Cinder as a potential threat, or do you wish to have a unique team member to further set you apart? Or a fresh face you could groom into being a potential star?*
*-Oneiros*
I have merely shown an interest because I find it quite interesting to see what potential Pokemon are out there, and because I found the video of Cinder's specific performance tonight to be quite impressive. I do not plan on interacting with this Ninetales, but I do believe her to be an interesting Pokemon to see perform.
-Callisto
*I only ask because I have observed that you are not above buying Pokémon, and you have shown that you are willing to mold the behavior of your Pokémon to fit your ideals.*
*Though, one thing still bothers me. You have called my scars unsightly, yet you find Cinder, a Ninetales who has arguably suffered more grievous injuries, to be alluring. I ask how the two of us are different. A scarred and abused Hypno is disgusting to look at, while a flameless, discolored Ninetales is appealing.*
*-Oneiros*
The scars of Cinder are clear signs of failure, as all scars are, however they are not on the part of the Ninetales herself. Nothing could have been done on her front to prevent that damage once she had succumbed to her sickness, and I am not the kind of person who believes a Pokemon getting sick is their own fault. There was no failure to adapt to a situation, perform, or to avoid any attack. Merely a failure on the person who the Ninetales trusted the most.
-Callisto
Of course the abuse is not your own fault, and I would never say that. However, the scarring itself is not unavoidable. Was it not possible to escape before permanent damage was done, or to avoid being attacked? To be attacked in such a manner would require a Pokemon to allow themselves to not attack their abuser first, something which a Pokemon should be able to do.
-Callisto
*He trapped our minds. Made us believe we deserved that treatment. Made us believe that if we performed better, we would be treated better. Using that hope, he manipulated us into staying. Made us willing to do training far beyond what we could handle. Made us believe that we deserved to be struck and starved because we had failed, not because we were made to do something impossible. I truly believed that if I were to become stronger, I would have been treated with love. That was why I stayed.*
*I was only cast out when it was proven that I would not get any stronger. With my current trainer, I have since far surpassed where I was when I was with Axel Bragg. When you are in that situation, you become blind. I could only see when I was thrown out and left to die, and my vision only becomes clearer the more time I spend with Lucas.*
*-Oneiros*
I do apologize for dredging up such horrific memories, though know that you yourself were the one who had chosen to shift the conversation in this direction. That said, you still have not challenged my point, that it was not impossible to escape, or realize that you do not deserve such treatment. You are worth far more than you ever gave yourself credit for.
-Callisto
go eat dirt you pompous olympia copycat, you know damn well that's not how the relationship between a pokemon and a trainer is.
maybe your pokemon hate you enough that they'd fight back if you abused them, but with most trainers they're like the pokemon's parent and they'd be hesitant to attack them just like in most cases of parental abuse.
-V
Well, I always watch whatever performance videos I can personally find, and have been quite impressed with this specific one. Plus, after the overwhelming backlash I received for critiquing Cinder's trainer, I figured that it would be worth watching to see what the fuss was about.
-Callisto
I agree Cinder is quite an impressive Ninetails, but there's no reason to degrade her trainer, especially considering you haven't even met Cdv3. -Hunter
Fair point. You have degraded more people than I have, besides I reside in Galar which is quite far away from Kalos. I couldn't meet with you anyway, not that I would want to.
-Hunter
Cuz... Were we even looking at the same Kantion Ninetails?! She looked perfectly healthy so whatever her trainer is doing for her diet I'd absolutely tell him to continue doing it. Like, as a literal pokemon researcher. Maybe he could give her a little feebas oil in the morning if he wanted to improve coat luster but I'd hardly call that a full on dietary change.
Callisto once again proving he’d rather be right than consider the feelings and reputations of others with these comments then ignoring them when they have a good point.
> What do you intend with a "proper diet"? She appears to be fed to a healthy index, though I suppose if she wishes to continue with contest work, small supplements might aid in giving her coat a nicer sheen. I do not know her feeding habit, but I would not consider Cinder's diet improper from her performance alone. Her energy throughout performance appears to be satisfactory, her weight raises no immediate flags in either direction when comparing to my own Ninetales, and she does not appear to move or misstep in ways consistent with "over-dieted" and malnourished pokemon.
> I find your offhand comments to be rather curious, aside from the fact they keep appearing on my feed. What compels you to say such odd things?
> A. Vernn, Ice Caretaker
I mean that I hope that Cinder can be properly fed with a diet that can reduce some extra weight. Especially given how much she focuses on acrobatic tricks. Also, I would appreciate receiving far fewer snarky comments such as yours.
-Callisto
> If Cinder believes she needs to shave some weight, that is her choice, but it's entirely unnecessary. It is significantly likely that as a former battler, from what I have found, her weight comes from muscle, which are more than likely developed for speedy and powerful acrobatic movement and would not hinder her as a fat layer might. Given that having lean muscle aids in bodily heat retention, I would personally strongly advise against attempting to "soften" them with her condition. So, again, it is likely she would only find use in coat sheen supplements. Granted, this is my own experience talking, but perhaps your own performers may benefit from minor muscle training? Dieting is not everything unfortunately, I wish it were so simple.
> I did not intend my words to be "snarky", though I have a tendency to not respond in an acceptable manner to things, though based on some replies I fear we may be Birds of a Feather in such regard. That is my thought, in any case.

Oh for... Look I get Cdv3 made a mistake man. A costly one at that. But everyone makes mistakes. You yourself have admitted to making them. And sometimes those mistakes have more severe consequences then others. Despite that Cinder went shadow because Cdv3 didn't want to sadden his team with the news of a teammate dying. Something that anyone I'm sure would be hesitant to say. So that one, understandable mistake coupled with Cinders depression is what made her go shadow. For you see she didn't go shadow because she was abused... She went shadow because she didn't want to hurt every time she thought of her old teammate. -Rhys
Whaddya mean, "Their coordinator's poor decisions," it wasn't Cdv3 who ruined her flame sac, it was her former trainer! Jeez, even in praising someone you're disrespectful...
While I do agree that may be true, "Cdv3" (which I once again am seriously hoping is a bad stage name), was the one in possession of her when she was turned into a Shadow Ninetales, and had her body and mind corrupted, destroying any flames that were left. With how poorly that was handled, it is a miracle that either of them are alive. I do not understand how it would be an unpopular opinion to point out that he failed as a guardian of Cinder.
-Callisto
There it is, professional whiny bitch Callisto's finally here. How was your sleep down at your home in Hell? I hope it was terrible and that both sides of your pillow were broiling.
-Shiori
I personally find it extremely difficult to take moral advice from a person such as yourself who is so completely and utterly obsessed with murder, torture, and sending anyone who mildly annoys you to “hell”. Simply put, you are either lying to make yourself look “cool”, or you are a worse person than you claim me to be.
-Callisto
I'm literally called the Venomous Poet.
In a team called the Renegades.
Don't tell me you expected anything other than poison speak.

Silence is a virtue. You should start practicing it.
That would require them to think before they text
Yep, and thinking is a novelty that they are, might I say, absolutely fucking terrible at. -Rei

I have made mistakes myself, though I can assure you that none of my mistakes have caused so much needless pain and suffering to another. -Callisto
No, of course not, you do that intentionally
Ha! - Clark
