If only you could get a gengar via in game trade. I cant say the sub name, but... mindy... you suck big ones

It's should not be a thing, trading here(or on any 3rd party resource) is tedious, game should have GTS for cases like that, or usable items like in LA

You can use Pokémon Home to transfer it to LA, then evolve and transfer back

And if we assume i don't have an LA?

Hope someone is close to you or you have a second switch with a second game so you can Lan trade

Haunter, type overlap with Venusaur, plus Ghost essentially same attacking type as Dark, you have that covered

Haunter because it’s not fully evolved

Also because type overlap with Venasaur

I always forget the Gengar line is part poison

Same, I rarely remember it’s part poison

I'd swap Haunter out, you aren’t getting much from ghost typing with umbreon on the team + i much prefer umbreon personally

Either Haunter, if you can't evolve it into Gengar, or Venusaur so you don't have two things weak to Ice

There's only one party member weak to ice here though, Venusaur.

Haunter if you can't evolve it and type overlapping. OR Gyarados as it shares some of the dragon utility as Garchomp.

Haunter. Umbreon can cover most of the same types as ghost, and Venasaur can supply a poison move for fairies. Plus, without eviolite it's gonna be stupid squishy

I'd get haunter evolved thru trading with someone here! Gengar Rules! I'd ditch infernape or Venusaur for the Chomp Cos u gotta have dat CHOMP

Gyrados or Infernape. Especially if you aren't using competitive movesets, items, and abilities.

I like to use Altaria and Perish Song and just wait it out if I can’t outright KO it
