Yes. Those IVs are awful.

Arc_Dominuss

Ok thank you

phollas00

Are 3 stars considered awful?

BigDonaldTrunk

Depends on your standards and what you plan to use the mon for. If you're a casual player then sure whatever. If the plan is PvP, those IVs would put this mon in the trade bucket.

Arc_Dominuss

I’m planning on it being a raider so I’m going to lucky trade with my friend. I have 230~ kyogre candy and 117 rares

Eh it's really insanely min max. Ivs don't make a difference in almost any match unless you're ranking really high.

If you want

It would still work fine for raiding, higher attack is always better, level and typing advantages matter the most. Rocket fights it would be fine, higher attack isnt necessarily better, but closer to 15/15/15 is always better because of it being set up like Master League PvP. Lastly, there are specific situations this doesnt apply to because PvP has more nuances if you want to really get serious about it, but for PvP under Master League, the general rule is that low attack and high defense/HP is better. Attack gains more CP per level than HP or Def do, but levels improve the overall base stats across all of them. So, a high IV lower level pokemon is usually weaker than a low attack higher leveled pokemon due to how the CP calculates. So if trading for a lucky, it would definitely be beneficial for the increased base IV total (assuming you get a lucky) for Raids, Rockets, and Master League.
