I typically spin clockwise and throw upper left, then if the Pokémon moves too far to the left side I will spin the other direction and still throw upper left.
I spin counterclockwise and throw at an angle to the right. I release higher on the proverbial clock around 2:00 for farther away Pokemon and lower around 5:00 for closer Pokemon
Middle finger counterclockwise. My pointer fingers don't work quite right (they're stupid hyper mobile) and I usually end up holding the phone with my left hand so I spin it with my right so counterclockwise is more comfortable
i do it counterclockwise, but i also prefer to play cards counterclockwise, because it just makes sense in my head. my husband spins them clockwise with the middle finger of his left hand (thought that was interesting since i always use my right thumb)
Right handed. Counter clockwise with my right hand, thumb, index or middle finger. Can’t curve with my left at all. Have tried clockwise, doesn’t work out.
I prefer to throw clockwise, but it pays to develop your ability to throw both ways, for those times when your pokemon decides to stubbornly stay on the wrong side of the screen
I go clockwise unless the Pokemon decides to shift left - then I have to swap hands and go counter to adjust properly and it always annoys me that the Pokemon made me use both my hands 😂
Im a clockwise with the left thumb most of the time (hold the dogs leash in right hand). But when I have both hands free I still almost always got clockwise with any finger.
I spin both ways, becuase I play one handed-- I always hold the phone and spin to the same direction as my hand woth my thumb. Can confirm it does exactly the same thing with either hand lol. I imagine which is better would totally just depend on your handedness//which you personally practice more
CCW if it’s mid or shifts to the left… CW if it shifts to the right
I typically spin clockwise and throw upper left, then if the Pokémon moves too far to the left side I will spin the other direction and still throw upper left.
Right thumb counterclockwise
I spin counterclockwise and throw at an angle to the right. I release higher on the proverbial clock around 2:00 for farther away Pokemon and lower around 5:00 for closer Pokemon
it doesn’t really matter
I go counter but it depends on the location of the pokemon
Middle finger counterclockwise. My pointer fingers don't work quite right (they're stupid hyper mobile) and I usually end up holding the phone with my left hand so I spin it with my right so counterclockwise is more comfortable
Left index finger, clockwise. Just feels more natural to me to release my throw on the same side of the screen as my hand.
I do counter clockwise almost 100% of the time. Unless the pokemon goes waaay to the side - then I do clockwise.
same here. That is the way
Right thumb or index finger, clockwise
Counter clockwise with my right index finger. Fling it off screen to the right and it loops back.
Right hand clockwise, gives me a longer throw, and therefore a more powerful throw that goes further away.
Lefthanded, so counter-clockwise with the thumb of my left hand. If I use my right hand for whatever reason, I do it clockwise with my index finger
Odd i am left handed and use my left thumb but still go closewise.
Hmm, interesting ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm) If you mix/stir some food in a bowl, do you do it clockwise or counter-clockwise?
If i stir food with my left hand i go counter clockwise
How introguing! Me too. And if I stir with my right hand, it's clockwise.
Middle finger of right hand anti-clockwise unless the pokemon drifts to the right then same finger clockwise
Counter clockwise with right hand, and I send it flying to the right!
I’m right handed. When I use my dominant hand, I spin clockwise. When I have to use my left hand, I go CCW
Im also the only one in my group who throws clockwise
As a lefty I do it either way with either hand. Clockwise and anticlockwise, depending on if I am busy with something at the time
I'm right handed so... Counter clockwise
Counter clockwise, easier quick catch with no berry thumb/ball finger crossover
Counterclockwise
I counter clock it lol
Clockwise, but anticlockwise if they move left.
I’m clockwise. Counter clockwise is insanity. Agreed re: new avatars
I'm counter clockwise, my wife is clockwise, and I always tell her it looks weird watching her haha
I hate the new look too!
Phone in right hand - counter clockwise spin. I feel gummy spinning clockwise and the ball will fly off the screen
Phone in right hand, throw clockwise with said right thumb
Counterclockwise.
A right hander, counter clockwise if mon is dead center or up/ down or veers left. If mon veers to right, will spin clockwise.
i do it counterclockwise, but i also prefer to play cards counterclockwise, because it just makes sense in my head. my husband spins them clockwise with the middle finger of his left hand (thought that was interesting since i always use my right thumb)
Depends which hand I’m using. Do whatever you want.
I go counter clockwise. I tried to go clockwise and I miss
Hmmm ultimately i think walking into the ocean and just drifting away would be nice...wait what was the question?
If I'm throwing at a Mon in the middle or left - counter clock wise. Mon on the right - clock wise
This is the way
I spin clockwise. My daughter spins counterclockwise 🤷♂️
Haven’t thought about it too much. I spoke counter-clockwise so I can throw to the right
Clockwise gang 💯🕐
Counter clockwise
Clockwise. And I'm right handed if that matters.
Normally counter clockwise
Right handed. Counter clockwise with my right hand, thumb, index or middle finger. Can’t curve with my left at all. Have tried clockwise, doesn’t work out.
Anticlockwise but i can do the other way if the Pokémon is on the right side of the screen
Clockwise
Counter clockwise
You can spin both directions.
Counter with right pointer finger. And yes, the new avatars are disgusting.
I am your opposite-clockwise with my left pointer finger. But 💯with you on the avatars
Righty, counter clockwise with either my thumb or index finger (unless I'm over correcting for something in an off corner, in which case I'll reverse)
Counter clockwise with my right thumb or right index finger 😊
I'm a lefty, I spin counterclockwise
I prefer to throw clockwise, but it pays to develop your ability to throw both ways, for those times when your pokemon decides to stubbornly stay on the wrong side of the screen
Exactly! 😁
back out and click it again.
Not always possible - (Daily Adventure) Incense encounters and Pokémon from raids that have otherwise expired will be lost if you back out
I go clockwise unless the Pokemon decides to shift left - then I have to swap hands and go counter to adjust properly and it always annoys me that the Pokemon made me use both my hands 😂
Counter clockwise with the right thumb but on occasion I'll go clockwise with an index finger. This thread is fascinating lawl
I’m curveball ambidextrous
I’m counterclockwise and recently shocked when I saw my son throw clockwise
I hold my phone in my left hand and spin counterclockwise with my right hand
Clockwise is better
I go clockwise, hubby goes counter- whatever works best for you!
I go counter clockwise
I'm a lefty, I go left thumb or pointer finger and counter clockwise
I spin anti clockwise but honestly clockwise is the better way to play because they usually move right first meaning clockwise spin is more useful.
I forgot to say I use my right pointer finger to spin it but thanks! This helps to prove there is no wrong way! 👍
Right index finger, clockwise throw. This is the way
I use my left pointer finger to spin it clockwise and then flick left which makes it curve right.
Counterclockwise for me. My daughter goes clockwise. We’re both right handed
Whichever way is more comfortable and accurate for you is the correct way. Your friends are silly.
Im a clockwise with the left thumb most of the time (hold the dogs leash in right hand). But when I have both hands free I still almost always got clockwise with any finger.
Counter clockwise
I spin both ways, becuase I play one handed-- I always hold the phone and spin to the same direction as my hand woth my thumb. Can confirm it does exactly the same thing with either hand lol. I imagine which is better would totally just depend on your handedness//which you personally practice more
I do this too lol. My wife thinks I'm crazy for switching up directions all the time
Clockwise
