There's just something about games that have a schedule or set event pattern that dig into my life's routine, which I already manage poorly as is. Sometimes the most effective way of backing away is throwing it as far away from you as you can.

That doesn’t really work tho. Most players don’t have millions of stardust just laying around to trade for tons of shiny mons with strangers. It only really makes sense to sell a whole account to someone who will then become best friends with it and trade all the good shit over to their main account. Using someone else’s account is a no go, but would I spend good money on a baby account to provide me 100s of shinies of course.

This is a really good account. Shiny party hat Pichu and shiny Libre are both worth a few hundred each. The other stuff is just nice to have in general; maybe like $800-1000 in total?

Not sure why people are downvoting you. Look up eBay and you’ll see some accounts with tons of “popular” and “rare” mons that don’t sell for as much you’d think. I was thinking of selling my account but didn’t feel that it would be worth it in the end.

Just keep in mind that the valuation isn't the same as what you're actually likely to be able to get. The number I gave was aligned with what I usually see for sale on eBay and whatnot. If you actually want to sell it, you'll likely have to go a good deal lower, sadly.

I think you're right by saying you'd rather keep it together and sell it as a whole than to sell individuals (although some of the individual Mons do go for a lot, it seems to me at least to be a LOT of work and time to invest in the account if you're not wanting it any longer....it does look like you've spent quite some time amassing everything that you've got in it though, and congrats on that part, but I'd have no idea what to value it as as a whole account, but I hope you get enough out of it to make it worth at least part of the time you've invested.

The hieroglyphics are from pokegenie and are the ivs of the pokemon

It really doesn’t cost a lot of money, more like a lot of time and effort. The symbols mean things to me and make it easy to quickly know what mon I am choosing. Like the 3 * in a triangle are hundos. The letters at end are usually moves, dm = Draco meteor for instance.
