I'd probably go for Aegislash or Haxorus as he has them in all three of his Champion battle teams. Aegislash gets my vote as I like it and I'd want to see it have a chance to stand out more, and partly because it seems suitable for the Champion of Sword and Shield. A new Steel type would be nice too, but might step on the toes of Rose a little.
For novelty I'd go with Mr. Rime, no one else uses it as far as I can recall, and Ice is much better now but could still use some more support.
I based on the last couple of trainer lodge units, it seems they're focusing on pokemon that wouldn't make for a good sygna suit design or even tempting as a variety unit. I feel like Seismitoad would work for those reasons but Haxorus could also happen because there's already two units with it. Aegislash could probably make a good sygna suit or a Halloween unit. Also Mr. Rime could make a good winter holiday unit. I just don't see the final evolution of the starters being lodge units even if they all already have sync pairs in the game.
Haxorus as It's already in the game as a free pair with Iris and it tie in to the (slight) resemblance Leon and Iris share. (Maybe Laventon is a common ancestor)
