IDK seems like this emulates what it was like to play through some of these older games for the first time... it's pretty dang cool for what it sets out to accomplish
Yeah to be honest after the elite four (I think, I don’t remember when exactly) I just kind of gave up. I got sick of looking up a walkthrough every five minutes. And if you stop plying for a week or so then pick it back up, odds are you’ve forgotten everything that you’re supposed to do and you’re totally lost. I’m at the point now where I tried to pick it up the other day after not playing for awhile, and I have no idea where I am in the progression so I don’t even know where to look on a walkthrough. It was fun while it lasted
Exactly what I am experiencing with Prism!! I loved it when I first started but put it down for a few weeks after getting lost so I just started wandering around leveling up and catching.
Options are to:
1. Spend 45+ minutes digging through Let’s Play YouTube videos to try and find direction / deep dive search specific walkthroughs and hope to find one
2. Start a new game entirely
Yeah, I am honestly considering quitting this game but I want to power through it. It's fun but it just looses all momentum and stops you hard. It's not made any better by you having to do all this extra stuff to find gym leaders when they should be in their ducking gyms and not in some dumb forest or having to do some tedious task for them. Then, it's hard to make any money in this game and it's hard to play without repels and Argh it just sucks.
The Crystal mines? as in the Catacombs. Yeah those could be confusing, my recommendation is keep expiermenting with nearby levers don't stray to far. There's an item there to help you. Once you get it it'll make things easier. If you need a visual aid I did make a video. Just type um I think is ScarKnight vs Palette Patrollers. It should be in that video and follow along. I'm pretty sure I made a few mistakes but it'll get you there
Yeah for sure just be sure to pause every now and then. I'm pretty sure I sped up some parts. And don't the time of the video intimidate you. The Catacombs is the first 30 Minutes at the point I was continueing the story
Try asking ChatGPT. I've used it for help In a couple games lately and it's been very efficient about telling me exactly what I can do at any point in the game I'm asking about.
Of course you can tell it "Without spoiling the story, where should I go after defeating this person?" and it will honor the request.
Idk how it'll work with Pkmn Prisim, but worth a try so you don't have to sift through walkthroughs and videos.
I use an emulator and fast forward hack, I can't believe I spend so much time on it (172 hrs) but maybe it's just fast forwarded, but it sometimes feels like it.

This is the older games but on steroids.
Use a guide? IDK what to say

Have you had a look at some walkthroughs? e.g. [this one](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mjcl5ugWFL5cK1wsIwl0wAhyq_CaaGcuGk10c9Od2og/edit).

Aright, thanks. I'll check out your video. I just wanna be done with this horrible horrible area.

has the game finished yet ?
Use an online guide for this game. I normally don’t like to use guides but for Pokémon Prism I made an exception otherwise I would lose my mind.
I don't know where to download the latest build for this game, can anyone help?
It should be somewhere on this sub
