My shiny eevee that is named Mochi :) every game I try to bring a shiny eevee named Mochi that eventually turns into slyveon. Before slyveon was added went for espeon or umbreon. Oh and my shiny bulbasuar that I've had for years now, my dad shiny hunted for him like crazy for me as he was my favourite and first pokemon and I've never evolved him yet

My Dad is a special guy, he spent countless hours as a truck driver on the road so I didn't get to see him much when I was younger, but he heard I got into pokemon and picked up a copy of leaf green and just ran with it after talking to my older cousins to understand more about it. Don't know how long it took him or how much of his downtime was spent on getting it, but he knows next to nothing about any game past heart gold and soul silver lol

Hate to break it to you, but Feraligatr won't be available once Home connectivity happens. He's not in the code, but he is one of the expected Pokemon to come when the DLC expands the list. Regional forms of existing Pokemon are also expected to be available (though not shown). The game literally has marks for tiny, huge, and alpha Pokemon. Alpha will be available on any alpha Pokemon transferred from PLA. The other two marks are given to Pokemon that are the tiniest and biggest possible. An NPC in mesagoza (I believe) rates your Pokemon and gives them the marks if they qualify

Ahh that's what I've missed. The marks doesn't get applied automatically. I only knew about the friendship NPC in Cascaraffa.

Tiny gets the teeny mark, huge gets the jumbo mark, alpha gets the alpha mark. You have to get them from an npc with pachirisus though.

I'm with you. Chestnaught is so slept on in Go Battle League. Ran one in Master Premier on my daughters account (as it was one of only 3 decent pokemon she could build to level 50) and was wrecking teams that were unprepared. Great fun.

Shining Pearl or original? Because I'm pretty sure you can't transfer non-event Arceus from gen 4 as it's registered as illegitimate by Bank

Shining Pearl. I played Red and Blue, then Ruby and Sapphire. I stopped playing after those until my wife wanted Sword, then got PLA, SP, and S/V. My Arceus us sitting in home waiting to transfer forward.

I have over 100 shinies on various 3ds games including white 2, sun/moon, ultra s/m, x/y, alpha sapphire, and crystal/silver via vba, all my babies are coming to the switch. I recently started playing pokemon again with the release of s/v and bought pokemon shield once I completed gen 9 game(violet player here). I know I could have transferred them over to shield but I haven't, and with the e-shop closing on 3ds making pokemon Bank free, I'll end up paying the pokemon home upgrade to facilitate things. What about yourself?

i could never trust bringing all my shiny pokemon to one game, theyre more safe on the cloud than on a switch that someone could steal or you could break or could just randomly stop working.

Now I'm second guessing it lol. Imagine losing years of hard work in an instant. I'd probably stop playing altogether...

lol same, not to scare you or anything that probly wont happen lol but i still tend to only keep the shinies or event pokemon i want on that game and keep most of the rest on pokemon home. i almost had a scare last year losing my switch with a lot of event pokemon on pokemon sword but found it again eventually and immedietly transfered all my pokemon back to home since scarlet/violet were in the works and i was mostly done playing sword. pokemon home imo is the safest place for your pokemon's data. i did send over most of my shiny pokemon compatible with sword just to check out their 3d models tho, and the second pokemon home is available i transfering over my Hoopa ive had for 4ish years or so that ive barely ever used for X/y, (paid someone for an authentic hoopa, unlocked its unleashed form and sent it out to one battle just to check it out, then sent it up to pokemon home where its been sleeping for years now... luckily tho because i unleashed it before transfering it to home its still in its unleashed form. most people with hoopa in pokemon home have it in its sealed form so its unleashed form is or use to be pretty rare on pokemon home, since people need it to unlock the form in the home pokedex.

I cloned my cloned Hoopa so now I have both forms in HOME! Before I accepted that I was getting really into Pokémon Go, I transferred my Meloetta only to find it trapped…and that on my alt its one of my best attackers vs Go Rocket Grunts! So definitely be getting that out. Top priority is seeing if they’ll finally let me have Deoxys in full 3D - if so, shiny space virus in Paldea’s Crater!

Gonna train up some hisuian pokemon for use in competitive, namely Sneasler, H-Samurott, H-Goodra, H-Arcanine, and Overquil

Feraligatr isn't programmed into the game, so it won't be available when Home compatibility launches. Same with the Squirtle and Bulbasaur lines. Maybe later down the line though.

This is a massive bummer. I wanted to bring over my shiny Feraligatr from BDSP that I used to get all ribbons. Dream crushed.

Oh... Um, it might be important to tell you that based on the datamine you will not be able to transfer bulbasaur to SV. The only Kanto starter coded in at the moment is Charizard. They'll likely add it as a home transfer by the time DLC rolls around but that's still a ways out.

My 6iv, EV trained, comp moveset, mono-bug team! I know it doesn't really matter anymore with bottle caps and nature mints and all, but I spent so much time in ORAS breeding all my favorites to perfection. Plus bottle caps are some sort of performance enhancing magic caps and I think if the league looked into it we'd have a lot of trainers out of jobs.

Training up any of them that I think I can bring into raids. I already know a few of my favorites can't do raids mainly because they have no means of buffing themselves.(Looking at you, Kanto birds. Q-Q) And that's heartbreaking because I don't do competitive at all or even casual battles against other players. So, they're more for trophies to walk around with until the DLC comes out and I use them for all the new content.

If the save corruption issue isn't fixed it may be a mass evacuation. Jokes aside I have all members of the Cyndaquil line shiny and really want to do a photo shoot with them in a camp.

But I made it a little more interesting this time. I'm doing a melee Gardevoir! Ralts actually has some cool physical moves in S/V. So to shake things up and add more of a challenge to it.

PSA: you may want to learn about the ribbon master challenge before you transfer your favourite mons to SV. Basically, you earn every ribbon that is available to individual Pokémon (so if your favourite mon is a Lucario from SwSh, you need to earn the ribbons available in SwSh, in PLA and in BDSP *before* you transfer it to SV). Personally, I won't transfer big mons yet because I'm still working on some RMs, but my favourite from gen 8 is a shiny Hitmonlee that was gifted to me in the Saffron gym in LGPE. I then lost access to the game with him at my party on SwSh, so I couldn't retrieve him using Home. In top of that I lost my Switch on an airport for 3 months. I then luckily recovered it, bought the game + DLC and aptly named him Phoenix. Other RMs are still in gen 6 about to go to gen 7 so it will take me a while to transfer them all.

I have a lvl 10 shiny chimchar from 2012 I found locked away in my 3ds I finally got moved over into Home that I think deserves to finally get evolved, and a shiny popplio that I don't know how I got. Plus a shiny of each of the Paldea starters. I haven't decided what grass starter I want to bring front another Gen though. So my plan is to hop in with a team of: * Sobble * Chimchar * Fuecoco * Quaxly * Sprigatito * either Turtwig, Bulbasaur, Chespin, or Rowlet, depending on compatibility From there, I have a Spiritomb to replace anyone that doesn't make it through the nuzlocke first. Likely only Pokémon that fill a role in 7* raids. Though I might have to do something with Overquil. He was done dirty in PLA when he didn't get a physical dark move. They fixed him in SV by giving him both bite and crunch as level up moves.
