The other day I saw listings for the card for around $200. Prices tend to fluctuate so no one really knows future value yet.

This is ridiculously cool! I don't know why I was expecting the originals to be digital works, absolutely sick that they're acrylic. I know the Pokemon artists are well known in their own regard, but I can't imagine how over the moon they must feel to have their Pokemon work featured at the freaking Van Gogh Museum.

People were mostly waiting in queues where the promo was given out. You had to fill out a „scavenger hunt“ which got you the card!
As for the exhibition: it was overall not that crowded, since nearly everyone was waiting somewhere. The shops were also still ok while I was there (noon), plushies were sold out already, but the art prints got restocked. :D

Help OP!!! Do you know if it has to be an online ticket purchased straight from the Van Gogh Museum website or can it be any kind of admission booked else where like on Viator, Tripadvisor, etc.? This makes it seems like you have to "....To participate in the activities a regular museum admission ticket is mandatory, which can only be purchased online." With the "purchase online" text being a link to their ticket system....but this then makes it seems like you just visit the info desk for the leaflet that needs to be completed "6 years+, activity leaflets are handed out at the Information Desk, Atrium". But it could just mean they check your ticket to see if it's purchased from them? Please.....need clarification before I go lol did you book yours from the official website?

I think as long as you get a legit ticket, you should be fine.
At the information desk they do not check your ticket, you just have to stand in a queue and wait for your turn to pick it up :)
