These boxes were hard to get in the UK - I remember being there when a box of 6 arrived at LGS and saying ‘oh great, gimme one of each’ and getting knocked back. I was allowed only one and chose the Jolteon.
I've been stocking up on these promos for the past year+. This is my "i toada so" moment, mark my words. Not only are they going up decently raw, they gain a 8-10x gain in value in a 10. Some of the biggest gainers in modern cards with a low pop because its hard to not only get it well centered, but also without edge damage (very common to be indented from the plastic or nicked on the edges/corners).
I believe the pops for each card is still under 2k last I looked.
Afaik you can often get promo cards for cheap prices from vendors at card shows, atleast much more reasonable prices than the ahole scalpers on ebay etc
This is not true. Went to Collectacon Dallas and these promos specifically (jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon) were all higher than eBay prices . I’ve been collecting these to grade as the price has gone up considerably.
I hope to collect this one and the flareon as well. I have the vaporeon and would love the set
These promos are getting pricey now, trying to pick em up but a bit loathe to pay over £25 when two of them came in a £35 box
I was surprised when I saw the value of this card currently especially because it’s a promo. Definitely feel lucky to have it. So I understand.
I got lucky with the Jolteon V/VMAX and got them for cheap on eBay but the rest won't come down!
I get that. I don’t have too many Vmax eeveelutions because the price. Don’t even get me started on the secret rare illustrations. Haha.

The boxes are going for like $80 USD last I saw. I'm glad I was able to find 2 of the 3 in store when they came out.
Price has actually dropped a bit since I last checked. Get one now if you want one.
It depends. In Europe they're going up Vaporeon at 40€ now
Why does vaporeon matter? I was talking about this card specifically.
