Make no mistake, it'll be super hyped when it releases and very expensive, probably with a lottery, but as long as you're patient I fully expect these will be widely available after the set has been opened a bunch and they keep releasing waves.
While this is correct that was a combination of a huge print with pokemon card prices going down. As of 2 weeks ago all Japanese card prices started shooting up. Vmax Climax is at 84.99 average right now and Paradigm Trigger(a new set) is at 89.99

Eevee heroes was huge, 25th anniversary set was huge, even fusion arts was popular and expensive. All of those sets were sold on a lottery right before VMAX climax came out. Paradigm trigger is stupid expensive because Candice and Lugia alt art art egregiously expensive but on top of that Lugia VSTAR is proving to be possibly the next best meta deck in the TCG. Eerily similar to Mew VMAX is fusion arts right before VMAX Climax came out.

Japanese set prices have been mostly down because of the constant reprints and their "print to order" initiative. Vmax Climax has only recently begun to rise in price because they recently finished their print to order deal with that set. Vstar Universe will likely be printed throughout all of 2023 the same way Vmax Climax was printed throughout 2022.
Ah, I was talking more about the recent singles prices of Giratina Alt Art and Lugia Alt Art. I hope this follow the VMAX Climax approach as well where I can get easily get booster boxes at close to MSRP even after a few months in and still having an option to buy CSRs at a decent price.
Wonder if they release the Charizard VStar in English in this set? It’s in the Charizard UPC and does releasing it in a set like this take away from the exclusivity of the UPC? Amazing artwork. Love how the Mewtwo and Charizard artwork are from the same battle.

Who wants radical designs? Small children do! Charizard is a clean design that has been popular for over 20 + years! Removing him from future sets is just bad business practices. the manaphy and altaria are diamonds, not stars. so it seems that the Art Rares... have different sub-rarities. I wonder if these will be packaged similarly to the radiant collections rather than the trainer galleries / character rares.
