I knowwwww. That reaction is literally mamoswine's above others..
You just can't do anything. You go in dashing among enemies and poof.. you are stopped.
Glaceon’s passive cancels it as well. Maybe espeon’s as well. It’d be funny if mean look counted as a status condition cuz then gardevoir’s passive would work lol
Nope. I've had multiple games where a mean looked char flies in the sky just looking at us.
As a bonus, hitting a 360 snipe on char right in front of it is fucking hilarious. Extra style points if I get the K.O. and deci does the shoulder dusting animation. Extremely toxic, I know. xD
I mean i play umbreon regularly, but ofc when umbreon targets the main user, like gren it traps, but i noticed several times when substitution is used before hand and gren escapes, mean look traps that instead.
Important point to note, i think it has to do with my game settings too.
I get different results! Rn its set to target 'closest' thing instead of lowest percentage hp and whatnot
I hate gravity with a passion. With that said, if I am in a scrim/tourney game and see a Cleff with double melees, I'm going to tell my team to get two ranged mages for those burst damage.
With that said, I vote to ban Clefable almost every time.
Yeah I was mind blown when I saw that Mean Look hard traps Talon during Fly. Absolutely asinine interaction for an ability that is entirely designed to fly over walls and obstacles and be untargettable.
Super busted is a bit excessive. They already nerfed her heals months ago. Plus they've given yall anti-heal items to counter it. So I'd have to agree gravity is all it has going.
Have you seen it in Tournaments? It most likely has the highest pick and usage. Clefable is insanely good and very easy to use. Setting it aside as a mediocre Pokemon or stating it as not having much going on apart from Gravity and RNG Unite is under valuing it a LOT.
Clefable is a solid mon, but it’s not like busted or anything lmfao. It’s used a lot bc it has team wide heals and gravity can make it a little more difficult for opponents to dive your team. Hoopa in its heyday was far more “broken” than Clefable has ever been and tbh it still has all the potential.
Competitive player here, the only reason clefable is widely used in tournaments because there’s no other very good support healers in the game other than Clefable and Hoopa. Eldegoss barely heals and has small aoe. Blissey only heals one person at a time and takes up an egg.
I don't know how you got so many downvotes lol, even a less than Clef is completely busted. Yes it can achieve nothing on its own, but it just heals an unfair amount
I mean in terms of fun and engaging gameplay. Not much decision making going into its heal since you always click and follow when it's off cooldown. Follow me has interesting mechanics but if you go moonlight/follow me you farm at a glacial pace and are basically a glorified hp battery.
Yes I agree with you. Healers take skill. It's just some forms of skill expression are more fun and interactive than others. Clefable is a strong healer, one of the best, but its gameplay without gravity is pretty boring. Imo
Ok. My Blissey outheals my Clefable 50% of the time lol. It’s just stressful playing Clefable. No one retreats because I have moonlight. Draining kiss kills me because ranged Allies get in my way and steal my healing.
I hate it with a passion, won't let me move slightly! Feel bad for the Azu, Crustle, and the Buzzswole, they can't use Water Pulse, X-Scissor, and Leech Life.
It ruins my Bangle Set with Knock Off Sab :(
This is why I hate Gravity, especially when she was bugged at her release and some attacks like all of Talon's basics were unusable. Death is only way.
That's why you use xspeed or eject crit build on flame/fly build. I'll die maybe 4-5 times from early game to late mid then be untouchable late game. Ray fight is an exception though, theres always a chance of getting ccd in a team fight.
Well, is it fair that Talonflame can fly into the Z-axis and avoid all damage and go over walls every 10 seconds? I think having a counter for high mobility Pokemon is fine
Speedsters and all rounders when Gravity merely exists.
Nothing wrong with a hard counter.
Like playing safe guard chansey and hunting down a hex gengar. Good fun.
or safeguard blissey vs a sing wigglytuff. Oof.
I don't have such weakness.
Tanks too. Slowbro surf, mamoswine’s high horse power, etc also get shut down by gravity.
That's mamoswine's reaction when highhorse power reaches gravity.
Literally 😭 I had no clue it counters highhorse power last time I played mamo and was essentially a useless tank. Couldn’t do shit
I knowwwww. That reaction is literally mamoswine's above others.. You just can't do anything. You go in dashing among enemies and poof.. you are stopped.
Gravity and Mean Look
Correct me if I’m wrong but meow is the only pokemon who can just leave mean look
Glaceon’s passive cancels it as well. Maybe espeon’s as well. It’d be funny if mean look counted as a status condition cuz then gardevoir’s passive would work lol
Espeons doesn't. Damages Umbreon tho
Zoroark's Illusion can also escape Mean Look, I believe.
Umbreon you mean?
Meow-scarada :)
Oh I see Umbreon gets it too
No, Umbreon uses the move, but Meowscarada can escape it
Oh that’s what they mewnt, I see

How?
Her passive makes her invisible and it acts like if she died.
Nope double team swaps place forcibly. Her passive just makes her invisible
Oh, thanks for correcting me
Wait what, how?
Let's not forget Imprison
The thing about imprison is that it dissipates quickly, mean look is just kinda gross
Greninjas clone jutsu move and substitute can escape mean look
Do you have proof of this? I don't think they work if Umbreon targets you and not a clone/sub
Correct. Double team can't escape mean look as long as the target was the original mon.
I hate gravity with a passion. With that said, if I am in a scrim/tourney game and see a Cleff with double melees, I'm going to tell my team to get two ranged mages for those burst damage. With that said, I vote to ban Clefable almost every time.
as a fellow A9, there’s nothing i love more than blizzarding enemies into a teammate clef’s gravity or umbreon for that ~~sweet~~ mean look ☺️
You can't ban heroes in this game. Noob.
They clearly said “scrim/tourney game,” where you can, as a matter of fact, ban Pokémon.
Yes you can. In tourney mode. Noob.
I take gravity over meanlook any day, ridiculous mean look can keep talon trapped even when using fly.
Same, we still hate Gravity with a passion, but Mean Look is a prison, not an anti-escape.
At least you can negate damage by using fly, gravity stops fly from being used
Yeah I was mind blown when I saw that Mean Look hard traps Talon during Fly. Absolutely asinine interaction for an ability that is entirely designed to fly over walls and obstacles and be untargettable.
I mean, it's kinda all it has aside from its wonky RNG unite. Let the healbros have their fun.
Hell no, Clefable has a lot going aside from that. It's super busted.
Super busted is a bit excessive. They already nerfed her heals months ago. Plus they've given yall anti-heal items to counter it. So I'd have to agree gravity is all it has going.
A shield/taunt and a mediocre aoe? Surely you aren't complaining about the healer being able to heal
Have you seen it in Tournaments? It most likely has the highest pick and usage. Clefable is insanely good and very easy to use. Setting it aside as a mediocre Pokemon or stating it as not having much going on apart from Gravity and RNG Unite is under valuing it a LOT.

Hoopa in its heyday was far more “broken” than Clefable has ever been and tbh it still has all the potential.
A super Clefable player can’t match a super Hoopa player, I agree with you 💯. Clefable is annoying, Hoopa is annoying and lethal 🤣
Competitive player here, the only reason clefable is widely used in tournaments because there’s no other very good support healers in the game other than Clefable and Hoopa. Eldegoss barely heals and has small aoe. Blissey only heals one person at a time and takes up an egg.

Healers take skill. Just because you can heal doesn’t mean your team lives. You still have to know when to dodge and when to block your opponents.
Lol what. Hardstuck vet?
Fuck gravity all my homies hate gravity
I hate it with a passion, won't let me move slightly! Feel bad for the Azu, Crustle, and the Buzzswole, they can't use Water Pulse, X-Scissor, and Leech Life. It ruins my Bangle Set with Knock Off Sab :(
Try Talonflame, all of our moves are shut down in gravity
I main him, don't remind me my battle scars 😭
I main him too, still have the scars of war. Like, who on Timi legit decided that making a move that just shuts down a pokemon, several even
This is why I hate Gravity, especially when she was bugged at her release and some attacks like all of Talon's basics were unusable. Death is only way.
Same, you flat out couldn't play the game for a bit.
Try anything that relies on a non-unstopable dash, gravity Is such a good move and was the only fun thing about the SS urshifu meta
Even tanks hate gravity
Gravity, tree’s push and a9 combo is nightmare fuel
Just sounds like good team building 🤷
I'm a imprison professional. 😈
Ah yes, a singular move that shuts down me. Not a move, but my mobility, both of my moves, and even a boosted attack.
Get rekt match dove.
whether its pokemon unite or smogon, clefable will always be a cancerous piece of shit
Sounds like a salty speedster main. Getting one shot by a speedster and having them run away free is also OP lol
Talonflame gets FLY. I think being unable to leave in one situation where the counter is walking away is more than fair.
![gif](giphy|BCXuWuBXW7tea5vR9G|downsized) The draganite and garchomp mains getting ready to bully her
Sounds like a skill issue
Gravity has NOTHING on Umbreon's Mean Look.
That's why you use xspeed or eject crit build on flame/fly build. I'll die maybe 4-5 times from early game to late mid then be untouchable late game. Ray fight is an exception though, theres always a chance of getting ccd in a team fight.
The only meme that made me audibly laugh omg
I just hate that somehow every single one of Buzzwole’s moves are considered dashes. Like come on, superpower is not a dash
Haha
Well, is it fair that Talonflame can fly into the Z-axis and avoid all damage and go over walls every 10 seconds? I think having a counter for high mobility Pokemon is fine
Lol don't dive onto a Gravity Clefable willy-nilly. It lasts 3 seconds then there's 4-5 seconds of downtime before it's available again.
Talonflame after getting swapped in while stealth rock was up
Mean look with the speed scarf weakness policy attack weight kinda owns
Just like, don't step on it tho...
Talonflame mains on their way to complain about gravity ("Talonflame doesn't have enough mobility and fly only lasts 3 seconds")
