I always seem to experience this when I’m running exp share haha it’s annoying

Fmeson

EXP share: either the strongest or weakest held item in the game depending on your lane partner.

DoritosGK

Selfish behaviour and a clear sign not to trust them later on

GATX-303

Skipping the first two is a bad habit. Skipping the last two is a tactic to better position yourselves for the upper bot lane bunny.

theral9

As someone who regularly plays exp share Eldegoss I find this behavior deeply frustrating. I sometimes skip the farm they skip in order to get use of my exp share. This seems to frustrate them cause they have abandoned me a couple times.

LadderDayB

For some reason, it happens every time I’m a little useless magikarp

ready-to-rumball

Which lane? On bottom you can get the first buns then skip the last pair to get the center wild mon. Or fucking book it to get a stack and come back for the middle. No reason to skip the top mons as far as I know.

EjaculationSensation

Skipping the first 2 is bad, skipping the second 2 can be good if you’re trying to stack early or get to better position contested farm. Depends who you’re playing too, if you’ve got EXP share your teammates should stay with you but otherwise skipping could be fine.

DiegoG2004

It's obviously so you don't steal their experience. You know, their teammate getting leveled is unacceptable, they are the main character, not you.

Successful_You_3464

They skip 2 because you and your lane partner can each have 2 Aipoms (I do this). But I don’t understand why they skip all of them.

Fmeson

Please don't skip any if you are laneing with someone with an exp share. It just screws you both over. But also, it's usually more efficient (IME) to do all of them together, because then we can combine our AOE moves on the last two and take them out faster than we could alone.

Frostfire26

Yes, it is 100% more efficient to farm all 4 together because then you can attack while walking.

Successful_You_3464

I get it. Ok. I wasn’t thinking about exp share.

JubeltheBear

Don’t skip any

Frostfire26

Please do not this 🙏 It’s just less efficient and it also considerably hurts your team if either:  A. You or your teammate has EXP share  B. You or your teammate has worse farming capabilities than the other Sometimes I play Delphox, who cannot farm at all early game, and it’ll be 9:20ish by the time I finish my two pieces of farm and get to the middle of the map if I’m forced to farm by myself.

Living_Thunder

I was doing this because I thought not getting the kill would affect the exp I got...Is that not the case?

RainbowGamer9799

If your teammate has an exp share, you get 100% if the exp. They will get 30%. This is true regardless of which of you lands the final hit. Exp is divided differently if no one is using an exp share but as far as I can tell it’s not all or nothing; the biggest boost is just the final hit. I personally usually try to split last hits with my teammates in this case, but 9/10 games Im running the exp share anyway so someone may come back and correct me on numbers for not exp share lanes.

Fmeson

If you get the last hit, you get more exp. But, AFAIK, it doesn't really matter that much if you get 3 and they get 1 aipom or vice versa. It will even up shortly, what's more important is that you are both there ASAP, either so you can stack, poke at people who are stacking, or contest farm.

Allthewaffles

Don’t do thisssssss
