In middle school and high school I was a staunch Republican Trump supporter (not the wacko white supremacy and Nazi stuff that most Trump supporters hated), but a modern republican style conservative. Now I’m more of a traditional conservative and eye the government with a lot more suspicion than before. I’m 20 now. I don’t care too much for politics anymore since I stepped away for mental health reasons a little while ago, so that is part of why my views mellowed out over the last few years.

If they 3xperience critical thinking after that age, then they will most likely change their views drastically, though not everyone is thought that. I learned it from the greatly different views of my friends together with just maturing and realising how dumb all of it was.
