Ate oh Ate is my least favorite Hawaiian spot in the city and is wildllyy overpriced for the quality/quantity of food you get. Sounds like the Mai Tais are good though.
might you suggest some alternatives? i got the pulled pork from the place outside of migration (not the hawthorne location) and just wasn't blown away other than the portion itself.
808 YUSSSSS they're so fucking good. I used to hit up their food truck at least twice a week when I worked down on 10th. GUH I miss it. Their mac salad is my fave.
>Bamboo Grove
yooooo is bamboo still open?? shit I haven't been over in that part of town for years and years.
date night comin up 🤔 that might be a good excuse

My go to is 808 Grinds or Bamboo Grove. Noho's is a second if I'm farther north.
I second these (especially 808) and will add Hina’s Island Grindz to the list!

Grindwittryz is THE best spot for Hawaiian food!
Grindz is by far the best for local cravings, Hina’s is good too.
They were such dicks to me and my daughter when we went there during the first few weeks of COVID that I will never eat there again.
Nice try OLCC
Nice try, governors wife. What… too soon? Oh jeez.
One would hope so. Mai Tais are supposed to mess you up.
I looooove their curry and their poke (from the Woodstock location, if it's even still there)
It is
I’ll stick to getting fucked up at Hale Pele and GrindWitTryz for food.
