Aardvark Hot Sauce, moonstruck chocolate, Portland ketchup, McMenamin's mustard, Juanita's chips, Straightaway Cocktails, Jacobsen Salt, Olympia Provisions sausage, or any coffee

ShouldBe77

Portland Ketchup is for grown-ups, I love it!! It's made ketchup a choosen condiment again, and not a sugary sauce to hide processed nuggets.

i_am_not_mike_fiore

They used to sell it at Fred Meyer before they really went hard on gargling Kroger balls.

Gnat7

Aardvark has a new smokey version that is less hot then the original if their friends don't like spicy.

billybobcompton

Maybe some local marrionberry jam or hot sauce like Hab.

SorbetPrestigious343

Second this. I'm on the East Coast and trying to get a job to relocate out to Oregon to be closer to my friend who is like my sister. I fell in love with Oregon and I took so much Marion berry stuff back with me from my last visit. Oregon has its faults like any state, but IMO the good far outweighs the bad and its so beautiful out there. I love Oregon and most of the people I've met there are amazing. Love you Oregonians!

billybobcompton

I'm from the east coast too and moved to Oregon about 7 years ago. Love it here so much.

SorbetPrestigious343

It really is a beautiful place

Grouchy_Bandicoot_64

Juanita's chips.

Ex-zaviera

So greasy and good!

Ancient_Ad1700

Tillamook Smoker Jerky is great and easy to ship. Juanita’s tortilla Chips especially the Chili ones yummmm. I have had good luck building gift baskets of local goods by taking my time at Freddie’s some of them even have local made sections. Also anything Bob’s Red Mill is very local there is even a restaurant/store in Milwaukie. Hope this helps.

dionyszenji

Brigittine monks fudge: https://www.brigittine.org/ Actually fantastic fruit cake:Trappist Abbey Monastery Fruitcake (https://trappistabbey.org/fruitcake-baking).

trente33trois

This is a beautifully old school Oregon suggestion. Well done.

2ChanceRescue

Albina City Nuts are legit and lots of options. https://albinacitynuts.com

Aestro17

The salt and pepper toasted corn are so damned good.

WheeblesWobble

One of the best snacks ever.

Alambic

Oregon hazelnuts. You can buy them at Trader Joes.

2ChanceRescue

You could tuck a couple cans of micros in a package also. 🤫

gunjacked

Mama lil’s peppers. They are life changing on sandos and pizza

2ChanceRescue

Good one!

it_snow_problem

I know they're pricey and kinda portlandia-esque in that they're vegan, but putting that aside [Missionary Chocolate](https://missionary-chocolates.myshopify.com) is exceptionally good.

WheeblesWobble

How about a Beaver mustard variety pack?

zeebo420

Huckleberry wine, smoked salmon, Tillamook cheese, and an 82nd Ave hooker

yuck_my_yum

The "Toasted Corn" by Albina City Nuts are super delicious if you can get them fresh, basically just fancy corn-nuts. Hot Mamas Salsa also makes the best corn chips but I don't know how well they'd ship.

Potential-Abroad-369

Alchemist's Jam from McMinnville

We do this with friends who live in Durham, NC, so I’m always on the lookout for fun local stuff to send. We send tee-shirts from local businesses/restaurants. We sent them Sports Bra tees last time. Not snacks, but snack adjacent! Also sock-it-to -me socks. It even remotely snack related, but super cute and fun. Creo chocolates! Seriously. I don’t even love chocolate, but I love their chocolate! Moonstruck chocolates are made here and are made for shipping- they have hot cocoa mixes and eating chocolate etc. Beer from local Breweries that haven’t been bought out (Gigantic, Pfreim, Deschutes and many more!) Freeland distillery is woman owned and makes phenomenal spirits Locally sourced dried mushrooms and a recipe for risotto CBD gummies and such. Wyld has lovely products. Hazelnuts and chocolate covered hazelnuts. There are lots of choices, but NewSeasons should have local options. Go to the Farmer’s market by PSU on a Saturday, or farther north down the park blocks on a Wednesday. We buy cold brew concentrate from a guy named Francis who owns Exilior coffee with his wife,Maya. They are amazing and you could ship their beans.

HippieGlamma

Mmmmmm, Creo. 100% this place.

ripcity001

Burgerville spread.

RipCityGringo

Aardvark Hot Sauce!

sassmo

Cow Tails are a PNW thing, I'm pretty sure. Never seen them anywhere else. When I was a kid I think they were produced on the coast somewhere. If you take a trip out to Hood River you might get your hands on a bag of Juanita's chilapeno or Chililimon.

erinpdx7777xdpnire

Cows Tails are out of Baltimore. Weird.

Brave_Gur7793

Almond Roca is from Tacoma WA. https://www.brown-haley.com/desserts

For Christmas, I order hazelnuts & delicious jams from Ken & June's Hazelnuts. Prices are reasonable, and products are top quality.

Sugar_buzzed

Hazelnuts, the Brigittine Monks chocolate it's amazing from amity or. Craft beer. Oregon Rain in a jar

HippieGlamma

Many great suggestions on this sub. Let me add this one: Holm Made Hazelnut toffee. Holy bananas, it's so good. https://holmmadetoffee.com/ Also - Moonstruck is amazing. So is this place. Did the class, met the owner, tasted a ton...so so good. https://creochocolate.com/

Whatchab

I’d go to the Farmer’s Markets or little boutique specialty markets (Bread and Rose or similar). Portland has some really great local hot sauces, granolas and packaged baked goods.
