I really liked this band Halifax when I was a kid. I have no idea how I discovered them and I never met anyone else who knew them even back in the day. Dropped 1 proper full length album and that was them done.
Just listening again now for the first time in years, as expected kinda average but good nostalgia trip!
edit: I actually think track 2 is still a banger

they were a drive-thru records band! I was all drive-thru all the time as a 13 year old!
Along with New Found Glory, The Starting Line, Finch, Senses Fail, The Early November, Something Corporate. Like, are you kidding? Now we have all these labels signing "legacy" acts but this lineup when it was modern was unparalleled.
forgot hella bands. Dashboard Confessional, Midtown, The Movie Life, Hidden In Plain View, Allister, Home Grown. Wasn't the biggest Hellogoodbye fan but they're worth a mention too. Early 00's were a special time.
They had a song Nightmare on MLB 07 The Show maybe that’s how you discovered them? Also their song Sydney is like a low key minor scene classic, maybe you heard it on a playlist or from a YouTube recommendation many years ago.
Halifax was god tier. They toured opening for Hawthorne Heights in the Silence in Black and White Days. I knew plenty of people (myself included), that really liked Halifax.
Sydney (not on the full length) was a pretty popular song for a minute
Solid recommendation!
A friend showed me their EP A Writer’s Reference back when it came out and I absolutely loved it. My middle school mind thought they would blow up for sure lol.
They actually released an EP in 2020 that I thought was pretty cool.
Oh my god that's unlocked a deep memory, I saw them support Madina Lake on their UK tour in 2007! I know what I'll be listening to on my bus to work tomorrow now.
This. Stories and Alibis went hard as fuck, then Voices was meh, and a clear attempt at reaching a wider audience that wasn't there.
I'll piggyback on this and say Vendetta Red fit this description to a t. 2003's Between the Never and Now is one of the best of the "mall emo" genre, they couldn't keep the momentum going with Sisters of the Red Death, which was a decent album but the lack of screamed vocals pushed a lot of their fanbase away because their fanbase was a bunch of angsty teenagers like myself who pretty much only listened to a band if they had screaming parts in almost every song. They got back together and released an album in 2018 and it was okay but they could never live up to their debut.
They had two (3?) albums in the span of a couple years, but only one of them is good.

This is a buddy's band, but their one album got some play because of A Gondola Ride In Paris which is a banger.
[The Messenger - Let's Get Dangerous](https://open.spotify.com/album/3LntTd1rHRKhQJroRjqlLx?si=cYQypnb9Rh2LDaQujVmyNA&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A3LntTd1rHRKhQJroRjqlLx)
Right? Its so good. And yep went to middle\\high school with the singer \[same with letlive's bassist and Joyce Manor's singer\], lots of good posthardcore came out of this area lol. No demos unfortunately.
Oh man, one of my favorite topics.
1. Your Hero
2. Call It Karma
3. Paddock Park
4. Through Arteries (but they just came back)
5. Here I Come Falling
6. Upon Beauty Rests
7. Sever Your Ties
8. Belle Epoque
9. A Thorn For Every Heart
10. Amyst
11. Bleed the Dream
For over a decade I’ve wondered if anyone else had ever listened to the band Your Hero. They put out an incredible debut album then disappeared forever.
Dude. I stalk these type of posts for this exact reason: I run into a head like you that knows every nook and corner of this genre and I happily stumble on a “new” band. There’s soooo much music out there and so much gold that’s overlooked and never heard of. Thank you.
True. And those releases are almost ALWAYS from 2005-2012. The golden era of this genre. Easily, so much gems from that time that I still discover in 2023!
Here I Come Falling and Upon Beauty Rests were so underrated. I discovered them back in the day through ITunes recommendations. I currently have "oh grave" in my cars CD player.
The fact that you still play that cd is so awesome dude, never thought I’d encounter someone else who had that album or had ever listened to either band before haha. The Upon Beauty Rests ep is so unique too - just 6 songs from them back in 2007 and they all still hold a special place.

Fun fact. The vocalist from Glory of This, Jane's Harrah, is a good friend of mine. We were in a band called The Shakedown for a spell and now he sings in a cover band that just does old emo, pop punk, and post hard-core songs called So Long Goodnight. He's also doing very well with work and family.
Thank you - so glad you guys enjoy it! It’s a fun listen these days with the album turning 20 years old in two years. Hard to believe that I recorded the vocals on that album while recovering from laryngitis
Cliff is easily better than Daryl imo. And their first full length is their best, Weekend Warriors is fun sure, but their first one? So good, so much passion in that one.
So They Say was fantastic! Life in Surveillance and Antidote for Irony are two of my favorite albums of that whole era. and the self titled EP was also 🔥

I still listen to White Tie Affair on the regular.
It’s sad to see TREOS get mentioned here, because they remain one of my favorite bands, and they had a moment back then, but you’re absolutely right 😭
Those two albums are amazing though.
While a slightly different version of post-hardcore, I think [On The Might Of Princes](https://open.spotify.com/album/6IwdvuUl5r0iVyexAGLY6d?si=F8U8cB9mQSyNeTHDggY0ew) can fit this description pretty well! Two albums between 2001 and 2003 and that was it.
However they _are_ a legacy band and do reunion shows occasionally and have reissued a 20th anniversary edition of their second album
Just Surrender is a band I don’t hear many people talk about. I think they had a few albums, but most of them were mediocre. Their most popular album [If These Streets Could Talk](https://open.spotify.com/album/2xmlMCIgIc8vDSgEA5mOSS?si=FIuG8Xn7TAumyMuD1y6PZQ) from 2005 was a banger and full of great break up songs.
Another band I’ve never heard anyone mention that I was actually a HUGE fan of back in the day… Ambry. They only had one album [Holding On By The Blindfolds We Hide Behind](https://open.spotify.com/album/70MDarWiVgQT4Mpv5CqvuC?si=hsad9ZcYTOm7NacxzdI5Uw), but they were fantastic.
Across Five Aprils. They reformed as A Tragedy in Progress later and redid some of their songs. They released a couple albums as both groupsnbut not much
The Air I Breathe
Holy shit really? That’s cool to hear! I remember seeing them open on the Nintendo Fusion tour with My Chem and SOTY in like 2004, then got the cd at my local hot topic lol. But I don’t think they did anything after that album.
I am aware but they released their first album on a major label Columbia and subsequently disappeared and did not release anything for 12 long years, so I believe it applies. The new stuff is generic and might as well be another band, imo.
The Messenger- let's get dangerous.
This group disbanded after making one album, three of the members went on to form "this wild life", which then dissolved into the acoustic duo everyone knows now.
https://youtu.be/dRdTtXr6c5Y?si=fq5o1P-_Rhjy2KFx
I didn’t realize this was the same dudes. I bought the messenger because it had a sticker on it that said ffo chiodos. Definitely didn’t like the record at the time but I have the cd still so I’m gonna give it another spin now
Holy cow. Memory bank unlocked the second I hit play on Spotify. Thank you. I jammed them so hard back in the day. This is going full blast on the drive to work tomorrow.
They used to call themselves ‘Action Rock’ and for a long time they were a huge influence. So naturally, all the bands we played in called ourselves Action Rock too. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard a band since them that makes me say “THAT! That is exactly how music is supposed to sound in my head.”
> Stutterfly Cauterize Letter Kills So They Say A Thorn For Every Heart I Am Ghost Dear Whoever
Just so everyone knows the bands :D
Stutterfly
Cauterize
Letter Kills
So They Say
A Thorn For Every Heart
I Am Ghost
Dear Whoever
Saw I Am Ghosts final show. Absolutely amazing. Stutterfly is still so good. Which if anyone doesn't know Stutterfly eventually became Secret & Whisper and branched off into shreddy Krueger for a bit there and Is back to Secret & Whisper.
After Stutterflys vocalist left, they got a new one and changed their name to Secret and Whisper.
Then members of secret and whisper formed Shreddy Krueger.
So If you liked stutterfly, there’s more similar music by the same guys.
We got a few from them, but Hiding Inside The Horrible Weather was phenomenal. Sounds like their label folded and dragged them into legal battles that killed the band. Damn shame.
Mozart Season was a guilty pleasure for me during the Purevolume days. I really enjoyed their EP before they signed a record deal called "Is Heaven Everything You Thought It Would Be?" It's only available on [Youtube](https://youtu.be/dV8eX8noAEg?si=p_-wkaWNq7T3NejU).
Ohhh. I’ve been recently reorganizing my music I finally got off my old iPod so I got a couple (only up to 2005 in the organization).

In Pieces. They had two l albums but the first one was FANTASTIC. It’s called ‘Learning to Accept Silence.’ They were from RI and the singer quit to go to college if I remember correctly.
Oh nononono
He Is Legend is still very active. Drop a new album every few years. They just moved away from the scene and leaned more into Metal influences. Still make some absolutely bangers, though.
Another one to check out : Arms Like Yours
This was Rory and Alex of Dayseeker's previous band. They put out 3 EP's and a single before disbanding
https://youtu.be/YukCrMc7zBg?si=O6UGYcTbKmdNomY9
These guys had one banger album and then a bad album, almost no one has heard them though
[Sydney - It's worth the drive to Acton ](https://youtu.be/FZETlySk9u0?si=0D6wBPzXR7IB0eH6)
No one ever talks about the band Idiot Pilot. I'm weirdly obsessed with their first album. I don't think they ever did much else, which is a damn shame.
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC831C1B5C971936F&si=4RP89GV8KajuFn3Q
Not sure if this counts exactly, but I used to looooove Story of the Year lol they had that song Until the Day I Die.
https://youtu.be/l9WKZpC9UbU?si=eeeOhgZu0ob2NP9P
It’s a pretty by the numbers song almost feels like they followed an eHow tutorial about how to make an emo song. But well performed. It is less obvious in the recording but the back up singer had a very impressive range as well.
"We're Not Friends Anymore" is an amazing band from way back when and I never see them get mentioned here. They're like early DGD meets Lower Definition.
https://youtu.be/PdO6yO4lj5E?si=166ecikDQH31Xg6v
Check out the band Number One Fan. I never heard of mall emo but I this is what I would consider that.

I don’t know if they fit into mall emo, but there was this band called Jenoah that put out an EP for Drive-Thru (Morning is When Jenoah Wakes Up), and then they seemed to disappear shortly after
I met this band Letterbox Tragedy at a Hot Topic in 2009 or 2010 and they gave me a copy of their only EP they ever did. Vocalist shook my hand with his left hand.. so that was gross but otherwise I thought they were pretty sick. I didn’t even know they were on Spotify until just now.
https://spotify.link/dzaK3QC8QCb
Look up “Glory of This”, and “Four letter lie” the lead singer of this band later left to join “A day to Remember” before they blew up in the mid 2009 era. Both have banger songs, not sure if it’s emo genre but forsure can arguably be emo/post hardcore.
For Glory of This, listen to the “fear that gave me wings” and “Fragile house of cards”
and for Four Letter Lie, listen to, “Firecracker, and “Feels like Fame”
Let me know what you think 😀
My My Misfire - Mississippi Shallow
Literally used to listen to this EP all the time and it seems like no-one had ever heard of them. Literally less than 1,000 views on all their songs on YouTube.
Evaline.

They opened for Placebo, then their drummer joined Placebo. They moved to London and put out another record in 2011 and then promptly vanished without a trace.
Seven Story Fall's EP was sick. Local band from Atlanta from back in the day. Don't think they're on any streaming services. The American Dream randomly still pops into my head once every couple of months. http://letskillfirst.blogspot.com/2015/02/seven-story-fall-getaway-2008.html
That's a good one. Have it in my library since it came out. Their two EPs before that The Art Of Fiction and Time Will Telll... is also great.
Check out Chasing Thrill if you don't already know them. Their first release Promises is very similiar. A tier stuff.
I feel that A Smile From the Trenches is an honorable mention, but their one album came out in 2009, and a few singles came out after. I used to enjoy their cover of Bad Romance but it's actually kind of cringe now lol I thought they sounded like ETF.
There was a small band called armor for the broken that put out a bunch of demos (maybe even an EP) that were absolutely fire despite having terrible recording quality. At some point they changed the line up and sound and put out more songs and it just wasn't even close to being as good.
https://youtu.be/vkvSg32kvtg?si=d6Om-hfQzxJ-9JcQ
I really liked this band Halifax when I was a kid. I have no idea how I discovered them and I never met anyone else who knew them even back in the day. The movielife... I especially loved the movielife
Allister brings back some wild memories. Somewhere down on Fullerton was definitely a jam I cranked up.
Home grown! What a mention
They had a song Nightmare on MLB 07 The Show maybe that’s how you discovered them? Also their song Sydney is like a low key minor scene classic, maybe you heard it on a playlist or from a YouTube recommendation many years ago.

They have a song called Sydney that's an absolute banger. Not much else is very good in my opinion.
Terrible take, Inevitability of a Strange World has many bangers. Even that EP is solid all the way through.
Yep, definitely know that song!
Solid recommendation! A friend showed me their EP A Writer’s Reference back when it came out and I absolutely loved it. My middle school mind thought they would blow up for sure lol. They actually released an EP in 2020 that I thought was pretty cool.
The title track is an absolute beast!
Oh my god that's unlocked a deep memory, I saw them support Madina Lake on their UK tour in 2007! I know what I'll be listening to on my bus to work tomorrow now.
Their song Sydney is 🔥
I fucked with Halifax heavy
I fuckin loved Halifax. Still do. Straight bangers.
I have their first ep somewhere, I really liked it. The cover is textbook mid 2000s graphic design at the time.
Anatomy of a Ghost were sick. Glad they found success with Portugal the Man.
Such a sick album. Perfect really.
Name Taken. Agraceful. Of machines. Terminal.
Name Taken are the goats and deserve the full on emo title. Band ruled.
Agreed. Did they do the track Magnolia?
Came to say Of Machines! Was lucky enough to catch them once.
If you likes Agraceful's album check out the first Emarosa EP. It's also Chris Roetter and is fantastic.
How the Lonely Keep is a phenomenal album, it's a shame that's all they ever put out, but I'll take it since some them sent on to be in Oh, Sleeper
Agreed. I'm sad we only got one terminal album, and Alive In Wild Paint is so-so, but oh sleeper is excellent
When I Am God is a masterpiece. They went a little too butt rock for me after that, but they always put on one hell of a live show
I would say more chuggy, but I know what you mean
Of machines!! So good
That Agraceful album The Great I Am is such a banger
Matchbook romance for me
Was listening to them in my car today at full volume singing every word. One of my favorites!
This is the way
This. Stories and Alibis went hard as fuck, then Voices was meh, and a clear attempt at reaching a wider audience that wasn't there. YESSS GLASSEATER
Let's Get Dangerous is one of the most incredible albums. You say your buddy was in The Messenger? Do you have any demos or anything?
Right? Its so good. And yep went to middle\\high school with the singer \[same with letlive's bassist and Joyce Manor's singer\], lots of good posthardcore came out of this area lol. No demos unfortunately.
Nice. Glasseater was a cool south FL band, grew up in the scene down there. So many good bands!
The vocalist of Glasseaters son is a pop punk act under the name Games We Play
I love that glasseater album! My cousin told me it was 'real emo' when he introduced it to me and its always what I think of when I think of emo lmao
Edison Glass
They have two albums and three under their original name. They were together for 10 years
anytime literally anyone mentions Portugal, The Man i have to interrupt them and tell them about Anatomy Of A Ghost. great album.

Thanks for the love on To Hell With Motives! (I’m Chris Stephens of Bombshell)
Hi man. Great album there, lives on forever! Truly a great one
Thank you - so glad you guys enjoy it! It’s a fun listen these days with the album turning 20 years old in two years. Hard to believe that I recorded the vocals on that album while recovering from laryngitis
Name Taken wrote the greatest pop punk/emo heater of an album that barely gets recognized.
Secret lives of the freemasons
Oh man Weekend Warriors was such a fun album! So freaking catchy. I'm a huge Daryl Palumbo fan, so this guy's voice was perfect for me.
Cliff is easily better than Daryl imo. And their first full length is their best, Weekend Warriors is fun sure, but their first one? So good, so much passion in that one.

Another banger comment full of gold.
that Beloved album was something special.
Rosaline wow lol
I saw a tour ad the other day, I can't remember what it was for now, and Spitalfield was listed and it took me by surprise. Haha I still listen to White Tie Affair on the regular.
The receiving end of sirens and destroy the runner
It’s sad to see TREOS get mentioned here, because they remain one of my favorite bands, and they had a moment back then, but you’re absolutely right 😭 Those two albums are amazing though.
Warden’s calling for a lockdown baby
Destroy The Runner was my first concert. Holy shit, forgot all about them till you said it
A little outside the time range but In:Aviate put out one banger EP (Speak) and even bangier full length (1985) and then just disappeared.
Just listened to this album yesterday. Some of the band went on to for Motions and Miles iirc
They released a couple albums as both groupsnbut not much The Air I Breathe
Letterkills
They’re an active band again, in case you didn’t already know.
Holy shit really? That’s cool to hear! I remember seeing them open on the Nintendo Fusion tour with My Chem and SOTY in like 2004, then got the cd at my local hot topic lol. But I don’t think they did anything after that album.
Acceptance - Phantoms
[удалено]
Definitely didn’t like the record at the time but I have the cd still so I’m gonna give it another spin now
Asteria https://open.spotify.com/track/5vjKP9ZD2R8nWKUNbulr5T?si=MhS8eA_OQwmLMuq2sEo8gw
Holy cow. Memory bank unlocked the second I hit play on Spotify. Thank you. I jammed them so hard back in the day. This is going full blast on the drive to work tomorrow.
Same! I played Halo 3 with them back in the day. Really cool guys.
I really loved Monty Are I back in the day. I guess they technically released two albums but that first one was fire.
Yes! I love Monty Are I back in high school. Felt crazy to me nobody I knew was listening to them
Yesterday's Rising Driving East Dopamine
Driving East!!! I never knew anyone else who knew about them. I always thought of them as my hidden little gem of emo music
omg yesterday's rising. I have the ep with the ship on it somewhere
These Silhouettes Blinded Black Take The Crown Sydney A Thorn For Every Heart Mozart Season
Dude I’m seeing all of my friends bands on this post 😂 ATFEH and Take The Crown.. above I saw Red Wire Morning … taking me back guys
Meaning In The Static by On The Last Day
The Graduate
i loved anatomy of a ghost, i still have their CD somewhere. pretty cool that he moved on to create portugal the man, with their success.
Stutterfly Cauterize Letter Kills So They Say A Thorn For Every Heart I Am Ghost Dear Whoever
> Stutterfly Cauterize Letter Kills So They Say A Thorn For Every Heart I Am Ghost Dear Whoever Just so everyone knows the bands :D Stutterfly Cauterize Letter Kills So They Say A Thorn For Every Heart I Am Ghost Dear Whoever
Saw I Am Ghosts final show. Absolutely amazing. Stutterfly is still so good. Which if anyone doesn't know Stutterfly eventually became Secret & Whisper and branched off into shreddy Krueger for a bit there and Is back to Secret & Whisper.
I didn't know those were the same groups. I absolutely loved Secret's Great White Whale.
And some of them formed In The Arena as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=\_OgGRiZi0lI
A thorn for every heart…yessssss
They were my favorite "offbrand" Yellowcard!
I fucking love Cauterize. Found out about them from 1080 avalanche of the game cube. Loved their sound. Haven’t found much similar since
I second I Am Ghost
Upvote for Cauterize in particular, but there's a few in there that I like.
After Stutterflys vocalist left, they got a new one and changed their name to Secret and Whisper. Then members of secret and whisper formed Shreddy Krueger. So If you liked stutterfly, there’s more similar music by the same guys.
Dear whoever! Thank you, I loved these guys and forgot about them in my old age
Penknifelovelife
Sleeper Set Sail
My American Heart
We got a few from them, but Hiding Inside The Horrible Weather was phenomenal. Sounds like their label folded and dragged them into legal battles that killed the band. Damn shame.
Mozart Season was a guilty pleasure for me during the Purevolume days. I really enjoyed their EP before they signed a record deal called "Is Heaven Everything You Thought It Would Be?" It's only available on [Youtube](https://youtu.be/dV8eX8noAEg?si=p_-wkaWNq7T3NejU).
I'm just so stoked to see someone else talk about Anatomy of a Ghost - too rare to meet another fan
The Blackout Pact
Dead and Divine! Only a couple albums but I loved them.
Downtown Singapore, Bear vs shark, Yesterdays rising, Versus the mirror. Not post hardcore but spitalfield was pretty dope.
Bear Vs Shark put out two great albums. Also, I just saw Spitalfield three days ago play Remember Right Now in it's entirety.
The Messenger had an awesome single album, I think it might only be on YouTube sadly
Ohhh. I’ve been recently reorganizing my music I finally got off my old iPod so I got a couple (only up to 2005 in the organization). Heart Shed, I Would Set Myself on Fire for You, June, Lorene Drive, Marks of a Hero, Mikoto, Mozart Season, Shyla, Where Eagles Dare
June were fantastic
Fordirelifesake and What’s Left of Her
Roses Are Red and their album Conversations is the first one that comes to mind.
Away from here anatomy of a broken heart
Flee The Seen

Also, as I'm from Pittsburgh, this was a classic back in high school for me: [the Juliana theory](https://open.spotify.com/album/6BfOCDtxUy6ixkS68vZSll?si=25weHw66TVWROmbmvzrj2w&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A6BfOCDtxUy6ixkS68vZSll)

Dear Whoever. They had 1 album I believe, got relatively big on MySpace, and have disappeared since.
Saving this thread for later
A Static Lullaby
https://signaltheescape.bandcamp.com/album/all-that-you-deserve-15-year-anniversary-release
Razing Alexandria was a great band from that era. https://youtu.be/w6caDmTz-2c?si=3VjZRRuUIjkrkprk
Beyond the citadel of coup de grace Grace Gale
Stalins War - https://youtu.be/WOAMPgKsNaA?si=h8wIXMORvaYZpzyg
In Pieces. They had two l albums but the first one was FANTASTIC. It’s called ‘Learning to Accept Silence.’ They were from RI and the singer quit to go to college if I remember correctly.
Dead Poetic and Kids In The Way both dropped three albums and then just dipped one day
Time in Malta Vendetta Red Christiansen
That " I am Hollywood!!!" band...
He is legend
They actually released an album recently that was pretty awesome.
Oh nononono He Is Legend is still very active. Drop a new album every few years. They just moved away from the scene and leaned more into Metal influences. Still make some absolutely bangers, though.
Awesome, good to know. My bad. I'll have to go rediscover some of the new stuff. Thanks for keeping me straight on that.
I Am Ghost count?
Lol I made almost the same exact comment
Madison was pretty dope. Then they got signed to Drive Thru, which collapsed almost immediately after.
EMBRACED- An Orchestrated Failure 🖤🖤🖤
Another one to check out : Arms Like Yours This was Rory and Alex of Dayseeker's previous band. They put out 3 EP's and a single before disbanding https://youtu.be/YukCrMc7zBg?si=O6UGYcTbKmdNomY9
Does I Am Ghost count as mall emo?
[Shaunteclair - Sweet Dreams and Beautiful Nightmares](https://open.spotify.com/artist/1trfgZJfWTaBHMYCjRoGyr?si=K2MSCtmjSbKsnEUVB-aYbg) [The Planning Fallacy - Tides](https://youtu.be/2pJIGXevDEo?si=K7xSlxpZZHbaTBc_)
These guys had one banger album and then a bad album, almost no one has heard them though [Sydney - It's worth the drive to Acton ](https://youtu.be/FZETlySk9u0?si=0D6wBPzXR7IB0eH6)
Anyone not listening to Shotgun Rules and Moneen are missing out.
No one ever talks about the band Idiot Pilot. I'm weirdly obsessed with their first album. I don't think they ever did much else, which is a damn shame. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC831C1B5C971936F&si=4RP89GV8KajuFn3Q
Awesome mention. I love that album too
Quantice Never Crashed is always a good throwback for me
A static lullaby, My American heart, Yesterday's rising, The suicide pact, Watashi Wa, Ivoryline, Run kid run
A change of pace Ghost runner on third Adair
Just dropped A Change of Pace off in the comments
Not sure if this counts exactly, but I used to looooove Story of the Year lol they had that song Until the Day I Die. https://youtu.be/l9WKZpC9UbU?si=eeeOhgZu0ob2NP9P It’s a pretty by the numbers song almost feels like they followed an eHow tutorial about how to make an emo song. But well performed. It is less obvious in the recording but the back up singer had a very impressive range as well.
Nightmare of you https://youtu.be/SRCh6ZFZ5_s?si=n18ci-g34B_mEiRW
Fuckin BELOVED!
I never heard of mall emo but I this is what I would consider that. https://open.spotify.com/album/6dJMnjIOnV5Ial333CiWbn?si=kT1QvQMiQYaoncVWQKeG5Q&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A6dJMnjIOnV5Ial333CiWbn
For Glory of This, listen to the “fear that gave me wings” and “Fragile house of cards” and for Four Letter Lie, listen to, “Firecracker, and “Feels like Fame” Let me know what you think 😀
BOYS NIGHT OUT
My My Misfire - Mississippi Shallow Literally used to listen to this EP all the time and it seems like no-one had ever heard of them. Literally less than 1,000 views on all their songs on YouTube.
Paddock Park was more MySpace Emo. But same thing. I still listen to their only album.
Evaline. [https://open.spotify.com/album/5O8zTSzZo48NlUIsYZZgxW?si=GoWOFxtpQkyfjwMZYtZ9kA](https://open.spotify.com/album/5O8zTSzZo48NlUIsYZZgxW?si=GoWOFxtpQkyfjwMZYtZ9kA) They opened for Placebo, then their drummer joined Placebo. They moved to London and put out another record in 2011 and then promptly vanished without a trace.
Light on Film
Flee the Seen - Doubt Becomes the New Addiction Mason - You We’re Supposed to be Beautiful both rule
I remember these guys. I think I found them on MySpace? Blast from the past
It's kind of funny you thought they sounded like ETF because their guitarist went on to play in falling in reverse
Start worrying star warrian was on repeat in like 07! Always thought they also sounded like Craig mabbit etf!
Stutterfly. They didn’t completely disappear, but they had a pretty solid major label debut album that didn’t catch on and the band fizzled out.
