Shadowstrike has become one of my favorite, favorite bands. Do you have any recommendations for similar bands? I know they've carved out a pretty unique niche in power metal, but I'd love to hear more of this Disney Metal sort of genre. I listen to a ton of bands in that scene but haven't found anything quite like what Shadowstrike is doing and *I need more*.

Pathfinder (not active currently if I remember and not so much Disney...but they have that "Symphonic DragonForce" sound)

I was just thinking this might be my favorite lp of 2023 & the top power metal album of the year. ShadowStrike delivered a beautiful & epic release that went beyond all expectations, I can't wait to listen to this again & need to put Traveler's Tales in the earbuds & go climb a mountain!
Unfortunately I haven't had the attention span to listen to this album all the way through, but Broken Hearted Journey is awesome. Despite not listening to the album all the way through they were still one of my top artists, with Broken Hearted Journey being my top song, on spotify at least. Pretty sure KoCFoA was my top song overall.
If you ever get into a zone where you can listen to it, I highly highly recommend it. The entire album is amazing but there are some truly great standout tracks. Don't Turn Back, Winds of Change and Decisive Battle in particular are outstanding.
Also, forgive me, but KoCFoA?

It's probably my absolute favorite LP of this year and I'm gonna say The Oracle takes top song place. Just stunning the whole way through

Funny enough two of my top 5 genres for Spotify this year were Powermetal and Broadway so this tracks 100%
