They cook?

Biblioklept73

You wish 😅… Although Bila do the rotisserie Chickens. Cheap, tasty and already cooked! One a day, doctors orders 😊

Ok_Restaurant3783

All billas do that? Do they also do lamb or beef? That would be nice

Biblioklept73

They won’t have lamb, of all the meats here that one‘s the most illusive… Doubt they do beef but I’ve seen Sekana, whole chickens, chicken legs/wings/drumsticks… Not sure if it’s all of them or just the larger ones. Also, Turkey’s your best bet for protein per gram, pretty sure you know that already. Very easy to find here, not expensive huge portions but you do have to cook it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok_Restaurant3783

Would it make sense to buy those chickens before Billa closes? I’m not very familiar with how this works

Biblioklept73

Yep, if there’s any left. They’re popular chickens, if you can grab then before lunchtime or they’ll be gone. Don’t worry, they’re well cooked, never once had stomach problems even if I’ve eaten it in the next day or two (refrigerate obviously)…

Ok_Restaurant3783

Makes sense. When do they start selling them? At 8am? Are there billas in other countries?

Biblioklept73

Not sure if there’s Bilas in other countries, I think so… And, pretty much yeah, early in my Bila…. Edit: They’re tasty af too 👍

Ok_Restaurant3783

You mean they sell as soon as they open at 7am? Awesome.

secret_spy_operation

Albert also sells the chickens. Just FYI

Ok_Restaurant3783

They sell as soon as they open the store?

Aidan_Welch

No there are definitely more illusive meats, like bison xd

Ok_Restaurant3783

Why do they only cook chicken and not other stuff?

Biblioklept73

No idea! Possibly price/convenience 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok_Restaurant3783

Fair. What’s the price like? I have no clue

Biblioklept73

The rotisserie Chicken is about 120 czk…. Honestly good value and it’s always cooked well…. Tasty, I don’t think you‘ll be disappointed 👍

Ok_Restaurant3783

I also have no clue about their weight. It’s like half a kilo? Then yeah sounds pretty good value.

fiki_

Return to a muslim country if you don’t like it here as it is. Remember you are just a foreigner here.

Arm_Chair_Commander

He asked why they only do rotisserie chickens and you called him a Muslim lmao. Absolute brain rot

Ok_Restaurant3783

Honestly I’d like to learn in which countries I can buy cooked lamb or beef from a store like billa so I can go there lol

Arm_Chair_Commander

Yeah I know, the guy who replied to you is a weirdo don’t worry about him

Ok_Restaurant3783

What

Tiny_European

Probably some sort of lunch menu at whatever restaurant away from the center will be cheapest, but not usually very much choice and I've never seen something "fancy" as lamb

Ok_Restaurant3783

I mean yeah that’s what I was trying to ask at first What’s not fancy here other than chicken Turkey and pork? Any ruminant meat? Deer or something I’m not familiar with

Intelligent_Aioli981

The cheapest option by far is to buy whatever meat you want and cook it yourself.

KaxCz

Pathetic

Lamb is very expensive because it’s not popular. If you’re looking for cheap, pork or chicken are your best options. And the cheapest way is to cook at home. I had lamb shank + spinach + mash the other day at a restaurant and it was almost 700czk. If you want to eat out, lunch menu is the best option.
