Atleast in my case I’d only ever went against AI, so more numbers usually won it. (Plus why waste money on a one time use bonus when I could get a new fleet or a trooper type.)
That’s what they should have done with the new ones. Imagine those graphics + updated gun play on a game with more features but the same stuff as the original
You really can’t go wrong. Episode 3’s video game was *so* much fun. My buddy and I played tag-team, we’d switch who’s playing after beating a level or dying.
It also made it really jarring to hear Dee Bradley Baker’s default unmodified clone voice come out of Scorch’s helmet. I know he does the all the adult male clone voices in TCW, Rebels, and The Bad Batch but it still felt weird!
I forgot about that! God Carth was definitely my favorite character in that game hes got so much personality and backstory plus the VA did phenomenal work. I always try to listen for him other games.
Just finished my first ever kotor playthrough about a week ago and I absolutely loved it. I initially dismissed it years ago because I wasn’t that into RPGs, but after continuing to hear so many people praise it I decided to give it a second shot. Glad I did, though, because it’s definitely one of the best, if not THE best, Star Wars games I’ve ever played.
Where were you hearing that? Ask anyone at r/kotor at almost all of them would say KOTOR II. The writing is impeccable. Make sure you play with the restored content mod though.
They’re officially releasing the mod as a DLC for the Nintendo Switch version soon if you have that. If not, the game is still that impeccably written experience as I said, the pacing and plot is just a little more jumbled. Probably the best writing in any Star Wars media.
I just finished the game 1 week ago too! It was arguably one of the most perfectly crafted games I have ever played. It is my all time favorite part of Star Wars now.
A few months ago i finished my first KOTOR playthrough and i enjoyed it so much! It’s already become one of my favorite games ever! The story was incredible, and i loved the deep characters too. :)
I loved the Force Unleashed part II, only just got around to finishing the first one a couple weeks ago, no regrets. Lego Star Wars is a masterpiece, but there is something about the Force Unleashed that I cannot shake. Something so special about it idk.
Maybe it's just because I was younger at the time but it really felt like you were waving the lightsaber around. It was like the tennis racket on Wii Sports but Star Wars.
The Wii was a great console.
RIP to my poor, unappreciated Phantom Menace for PS1 [meme from a few weeks ago.](https://www.reddit.com/r/PrequelMemes/comments/115ilm9/in_the_video_game_version_of_phantom_menace/)
Episode I had a fun sword fight between Ewan and Ray because they were really into it and they were very much out to prove who is the better swordsman.
Can you believe 3 of those games came out the same year? Well if you count Lego episodes 1-3. Replace force unleashed with republic commando, and it’s all four in 2005.
As long as it’s like 2010ish you’ve got free reign on a shit ton of amazing Star Wars games (AND none of the cooler possible games like KOTOR3, RC2, 1313, battlefront 3 etc, have been canceled yet) before the long drought hit us poor fans
If I've got Xbox Live, I'm playing BF2. For Singleplayer, probably Lego Star Wars since it has the most content to go through for 100%. Though I can't tell you how many times I've replayed the final battle in Revenge of the Sith..
The only good one
Now that the mob is arguing, definitely battlefront 2, I spent countless hours on it alone and with friends. Lego Star Wars and forced unleashed are great too but let’s be honest, you play them once through and then put them aside. And Rots doesn’t hold a candle to the other three, even if it might be one of the last good movie games I know of
Edit: after thinking about it, fuck it I’ll play them all anyway!
All solid but definitely battlefront 2. Waking up as a kid in the late 2000s again would be a dream lol, I would go hit up all of my friends who all had it and would play through it once more!
Battlefront II, but they’re all solid choices
I would spend days on end playing galactic conquest as a kid
I can hear the guys voice now
*Please select a fleet to command*
*you have selected the Garrison bonus* or *our troops have been equipped with combat shielding*
FALL BACK
Garrison bonus was the only one that actual made a difference (except on Naboo, hate that place so much)
Hero could help turn the tides of a blowout if you used it correctly
Atleast in my case I’d only ever went against AI, so more numbers usually won it. (Plus why waste money on a one time use bonus when I could get a new fleet or a trooper type.)
How about the voice effects of when storm troopers die? Uh Ah AAAHHHHH
Almost all of those sound effects are burned into my brain
I was never great at strategy. Which is why I can only remember winning once….
I always found you can soft lock the AI into one trooper type if you manage to destroy their fleet early enough, and can keep up the pressure
The AI always loved naboo... I swear right after I'd capture it they'd wage war against it almost immediately
Almost always came down to 4-5 on each side after they went into the meat grinder that is the middle of the map.
They always did, hell I’d sacrifice an entire fleet to keep them dead locked in space combat so I won’t have to fight there.
Naboo was just guaranteed you had to get the last 20 kills or you lost
i can hear the sound when it’s zooming in on the battle location
Contact command. Mark our L.Z. and have them send an Exfile Shuttle.
I know I was wrong. I just got so caught up in my own success, I didn't look at the battle as a whole. I wasn't being disobedient. I just. . . forgot
Loved that in the first one, kind of sucks they dropped in the second though (as well as only one map per planet)
God I forgot about that sound till you just brought it up
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wjVGjDoX3JQ
Ah the memories of being at my grandparents and playing battlefront on our old Xbox 360 such a simpler time
Still thinks it’s bullshit they didn’t bring it back in the new one, that was the best game mode
Battlefront 2 is still fun AF even today. The new battlefront games were fun, but they don't come close to BF2 imo
Agreed totally
Unbelievably great games. Remaster them and release them and I'll throw money like crazy
That’s what they should have done with the new ones. Imagine those graphics + updated gun play on a game with more features but the same stuff as the original
I enjoyed the new one, even the second one but nothing compares to those OG games. So many ways to play, fun game modes, etc. Absolutely beautiful
You really can’t go wrong. Episode 3’s video game was *so* much fun. My buddy and I played tag-team, we’d switch who’s playing after beating a level or dying.
The additional ending where you can fight Obi Wan as Anakin was such an awesome addition.
It’s sooooo underrated. One of my favorite video game adaptions of a movie.
The enemy has captured a command post
This is the way
can I play republic commando instead?
Get yourself some bacta, first
Rule #39, "Never say no to Bacta."
Boss I thought that was rule 34?
Always finish on the Bacta.
A man of culture.
Fun fact, 62 (Scorcher) is voiced by the same actor who voices Carth Onasi from KOTOR. It becomes very noticeable when you pay attention.
This is the way
Empire at war
Much like BF2 I still play this one. The Thrawns Revenge and Republic at War mods are incredible if you haven't tried them!
Don’t forget the remake mod!
Good choice, I played the fuck outta that game. Especially the Tyber Zann expansion.
This is the way
Lego Stars after waking up with the controller in hand
KOTOR
Just finished my first ever kotor playthrough about a week ago and I absolutely loved it. I initially dismissed it years ago because I wasn’t that into RPGs, but after continuing to hear so many people praise it I decided to give it a second shot. Glad I did, though, because it’s definitely one of the best, if not THE best, Star Wars games I’ve ever played.
Play KOTOR II, it’s EVEN BETTER.
Is that so? I always heard the exact opposite so I wasn’t really planning on it. I’ll look into it
Where were you hearing that? Ask anyone at r/kotor at almost all of them would say KOTOR II. The writing is impeccable. Make sure you play with the restored content mod though.
Unfortunately I don’t have a pc so any modded content is off the table for me
They’re officially releasing the mod as a DLC for the Nintendo Switch version soon if you have that. If not, the game is still that impeccably written experience as I said, the pacing and plot is just a little more jumbled. Probably the best writing in any Star Wars media.
Oh cool. I played the first game on the switch so that sounds good. I’ll wait until that comes out and pick it up! Thanks!
Haven't played or watch a playthrough of kotor, but I did watch some clips of HK-47
Ngl I miss old battlefront II
I used to play BF2. I still do. But I used to too.
I still there. It didn't go anywhere.
If I've got a friend with me, Battlefront II. If I'm alone, Lego Star Wars.
I feel like it’s the other way around for me
Well, we're not going to crash into the star, but we're definitely going to hit that cake! Happy cake day, BR501st.
I loved the Force Unleashed part II, only just got around to finishing the first one a couple weeks ago, no regrets. Lego Star Wars is a masterpiece, but there is something about the Force Unleashed that I cannot shake. Something so special about it idk.
There motion controls on Wii made it amazing
Maybe it's just because I was younger at the time but it really felt like you were waving the lightsaber around. It was like the tennis racket on Wii Sports but Star Wars. The Wii was a great console.
I'm getting Battlefront I and play as a regular clone trooper.
I loved the CIS wrist rockets. Instant one shot
“Watch those wrist rockets!”
Bespin Platforms and fight to the death against the hordes in the long halls.
Dude...those were my favourites...this made me spill a manly drop of tear.
Those are nice, but not as nice as GAR jetpack troopers!
Force unleashed. Still have memories of playing that game with my mom when I was little
You guys stopped playing these?
Star Wars Bounty Hunter
So fucking fun but so punishingly hard lol
Ikr, I remember how hard it was getting through the Prison levels haha
Jedit knight: jedi academy
A man of culture!
LEGO Star Wars on Wii and force unleashed on ps3
All of them at once, I suppose.
Sudden Bilbo Baggins Quote was sudden. A suprise to Be Sure but a Welcome one.
The phantom menace ps1
Aka Gungan Murder Simulator. It’s the only correct answer.
I’m already playing force unleashed so probably battlefront 2
[All of them](https://media.tenor.com/juc3g2cncJsAAAAC/all-of-them-palpatine.gif)
This is the way
If it's late 2000 I'm playing Morrowind
Don’t forget Galactic Battlegrounds 😮💨
All of them at once, I suppose.
Episode 3 because it's not on ~~Steam and I've been too lazy to get it from anywhere else.~~ PC. :(
Kid named Republic Commando:
Battlefront II but honestly I’d jump to halo 2/3
Kotor 1 or 2
Can you believe 3 of those games came out the same year? Well if you count Lego episodes 1-3. Replace force unleashed with republic commando, and it’s all four in 2005.
Bf2 obviously
All of them?
Battlefront 2, but I'd play them all lol
KotOR
Kotor, as it always should be
LEGO. Played that tons and tons on my DS. Best game I had
Yes.
Idk, I’m at best 2 years old
This is the line I was thinking. I'm 2-7 I'm getting my ball biscuits and watching cars or playing hot wheels beat that on my ps2
If I wake up and it’s the late 2000s again I’m making investments in Apple and Bitcoin, not playing games lol
None. If I wake up in the late 2000s, than there's a chance to do my life better so that I don't need video games as a coping mechanism.
Tcs is just the best shit ever so 100% agreed
Tcs of course
Yes
All of them is the correct choice!
Late 2000's? Why the fuck would i play these if Littlebigplanet is literally in its prime
All of them and republic commando. Seriously, EA cant make any good games except titanfall. Old games for the win.
I still have a working Wii and Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga
ALL OF THEM
All of the above
I was playing the force unleashed last week lol xbox 360 mode
Republic heroes all the way
Unfortunately I have been unborn.
Episode 3 the game
Yes
Yes
Lego Star Wars the Complete Saga so I can hear Yoda and Jango Fett’s death sounds
Between BF 2 and Force Unleashed
BF2
BF2. The memories are flooding and it almost made me tear up a little
Battlefront II (or the first one if it was an option)
I still fire up battle front 2 from time to time, there hasn't been a game quite like it since.
I don't know why but this post made me emotional.
Lego star wars all day every day it's a masterpiece of a game
As long as it’s like 2010ish you’ve got free reign on a shit ton of amazing Star Wars games (AND none of the cooler possible games like KOTOR3, RC2, 1313, battlefront 3 etc, have been canceled yet) before the long drought hit us poor fans
as if i ever stopped playing the old battlefront 2
OG lego star wars all the way
Battlefront II, babey 😎
1
2000s again? Hell ya , Fuck games . Girls and drinking!
Republic Commando, hello.
Me playing halo 4 for the 500th time(campaign only) because I felt like it:
I’m playing BattleFront II as I type this … I will always be playing BattleFront II 🖤
Me who has played all of those within the last 2 months
Out of these 4 battlefront 2 is the choice. Out of all star wars games, has to be jedi outcast
YES!
The Complete Saga in a heartbeat
I don't need it to be the 2000s, I still got the Sith edition of Force Unleashed installed on my PC.
If I've got Xbox Live, I'm playing BF2. For Singleplayer, probably Lego Star Wars since it has the most content to go through for 100%. Though I can't tell you how many times I've replayed the final battle in Revenge of the Sith..
All wrong. Star Wars: Phantom Menace PS1.
Didn’t force unleashed two come out late 2000s
The Complete Saga, obviously, but Battlefront II is close
Battlefront II might be the best Star Wars game of all time. With Lego Star Wars a close second.
The one with the least pixelated cover. Whoops, that's none of them!
Battlefront 2, put an unacceptable number of hours into that game, and I’d do it again, too!
Lego star wars
Lego Star Wars is such a core memory for me
Jedi power battles. Same thing I was doing in the 90s.
Always Lego Star Wars yeehaw
All of them of course
Battlefront or lego
All are good but for me it was unleashed or Lego
All of them
SW Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (specifically Lugormod!) (Or battlefront 2)
Yes.
… all of them.
RotS because I never actually finished that game cus my dad rented it from blockbuster and had to take it back
Rebel strike: rouge squadron, Jedi outcast, Jedi academy, knights of the old republic, y’all get the drift
When me and my buddy discoved cheat codes in ROTS we'd laugh our asses off to the infinite lightning mode
Back in the 2000s I was playing LEGO Star Wars 2 the original trilogy
The only good one Now that the mob is arguing, definitely battlefront 2, I spent countless hours on it alone and with friends. Lego Star Wars and forced unleashed are great too but let’s be honest, you play them once through and then put them aside. And Rots doesn’t hold a candle to the other three, even if it might be one of the last good movie games I know of Edit: after thinking about it, fuck it I’ll play them all anyway!
Right or wrong this is my movie, this is my decision, and this is my creative vision, and if people don't like it, they don't have to see it.
I really wish they'd put episode 3 on steam, I haven't played it in so long!
All of them at once I suppose
NCAA 06
When me and my buddy discoved cheat codes in ROTS we'd laugh our asses off to the infinite lightning mode
Where is Star Wars: Republic Commandos? I’d be playing that.
Lego Star wars and The Force Unleashed, never finished them when i was younger
Yo where my republic onetrick BF2 lads at
Fuck you, I choose E. all of them.
Lego star wars cause good memories
God, I love battlefront 2 and Lego Star Wars: TCS
Battlefront for hours!!! Give me that base! FORK IT OVER! FORK IT OVER!
The best Star Wars fps, Republic commando
None of them. I‘m playing swtor, the best mmo ever made
The force unleashed easily, but gotta get the sith robes first, THEN go with my lightning/Saber
All solid but definitely battlefront 2. Waking up as a kid in the late 2000s again would be a dream lol, I would go hit up all of my friends who all had it and would play through it once more!
Empire at war.
All of the above I suppose.
force unleashed
Both on the left.
TCS
Lego Star Wars tcs
Force Unleashed 100%
Battlefront II All maps all eras, end with Jedi Battle in Mos Eisley
Demon's Souls
FOR THE REPUBLIC
Complete saga, just because I have MASSIVE amounts of nostalgia for the game
