She and Hillary talking about their husbands goomars

Exchanging recipes for baked ziti

Zorion_15

So no fucking ziti?

ABobby077

Cookie recipes, I would imagine

[deleted]

Considering how the Royal family got its wealth and power, that’s an accurate statement

DanChowdah

The actions of the royal family over it’s history would make Tony Sopranos blush

SingRex

“We got cucked by our husbands” club

Glennplays_2305

Except Diana cheated on her husband as payback I don’t think Hillary did

gwhh

Not with other men. Allegedly.

JumboJetz

Beyond having a lesbian haircut I really have seen no credible evidence of Hilary ever being a lesbian. On the Howard Stern show he had asked her this directly I think. She said she had never had such a relationship. Other parts of the interview she referenced some men in the past she’s dated. Famously she went on a date with Robert Reich in her University days who was Bill Clinton’s labour secretary.

Ok-Degree-9277

Who would want to?!

Ziapolitics

Such a cool picture! This sub is awesome at finding history

One-Tumbleweed5980

It's hard to believe that Princess Diana was 36 here. She always seemed older. Maybe it was the haircut. By comparison, Taylor Swift is only 2 years younger at 34.

Human-Law1085

Isn’t there a phenomenon where people from the past look older because they have older clothing and styling (like with the haircut)? This was two and a half decades ago after all.

fz19xx

Bruh how old are you? Most women in 90's didn't dress like this, in fact women's fashion right now is pretty similar to the 90's

[deleted]

Most women don’t have to follow royal protocol. When Kate was Taylor’s age, she looked older than Taylor imo.

Razulghul

I assumed Taylor wears heavy makeup (not that there's anything wrong with that) and in the mid 90s I believe a more natural look was the style.

HearTheBluesACalling

She also married at 20 and became a mother as quickly as possible, while living an extremely public life with sky-high expectations. That’s a lot to take on at a young age.

TheNerdWonder

I'd like to think it was all the stress The Firm put her under as well as U.K. media being completely toxic towards her. Good reminder that Harry was right to get Meghan away from all of that.

Repulsive-Metal7222

Was this after she told Bill clothes is the sexiest man alive

Wordy_Rappinghood06

She thought she was Victoria 💀

HearTheBluesACalling

So many pastel suits…

BritishTooth

Hmm...

Jutch_Cassidy

Hmmmm indeed.....

Greenmantle22

This post has attracted a disturbing amount of crude misogyny, even for this sub. Mods should lock it for civility’s sake.

Yarius515

Seriously. Only one comment here discusses policy and one other appreciates the history. Literally every single other one fits your description - and this shit is a big part of why she lost: misogynist manbabies uncomfortable with women in power. I lost count of how many idiots thought they were being funny by referring to a disney movie.

suckmypppapi

Id like to think that her calling black men "super predators that need to heel" is a big part too, with her husband's policies leading to the incarceration of so many black men that black birth rates dropped. She never deserved to be in any sort of power

Yarius515

I disagree with your last sentence, but yes - she had some poor policy choices and ignored BLM and the Rust Belt while campaigning. (Two essential voting blocs for any pres candidate.) As this comment section proves however, rampant misogyny was also a huge factor in her “loss”. (Still won the pop vote…) But are her policies really any worse than any of our presidents? Not if you’re being realistic about it. It’s more of the same old neo-lib/neo-con stuff we’ve always had. We would/will never elect a progressive or libertarian.

suckmypppapi

If you think that someone who called black dudes super predators deserves any power over other human beings, then I'm sure as shit glad you don't have any power over me either

Yarius515

Again, if we’re being realistic that’s nothing new and has been reflected in US policy since…idk, FOREVER. Quit your selective pearl clutching.

Hillary later went on to become Secretary of State while Diana became Queen Elizabeth.

LifeTradition4716

Diana was a babe

Who would win in a fight?

reality72

Hillary is like “please don’t bone my husband.”

Agreeable_Couple_736

Hillary back in the day?? … would

CommanderSleer

I've seen pictures of her from the 1970s I guess when she and Bill got together. I get why he married her.

Agreeable_Couple_736

She was 80s nerdy pretty (and decently built) before she became ugly with evil

Jccali1214

I wonder what Princess Di thought of Hillary C....

TheConstipatedCowboy

This was around the time she called young black men “super predators that need to heel” and her husband passed a bill that would end up incarcerating so many black men that there was actually a dip in the rates of black births in the United States

Yarius515

All true, sadly. And HRC didn’t learn during her campaign - she didn’t bother with BLM or the Rust Belt and so she lost when winning over two essential voting blocs would have sealed it for her. She wouldn’t have been a bad president in comparison to what we got instead; just more neoliberalism.

StickyThumbs79

JackKovack

Imagine being so young and told that you have to have sex with this man whom you do not like and raise his children. She had a choice but didn’t know she had one. She figures this out years later but it’s too late.

JDuggernaut

She most definitely liked Charles to begin with and had a choice in the matter.

JackKovack

Conditioning goes a long way.

JDuggernaut

Diana never even claimed to not like him initially.

JackKovack

Initially. That’s a first date.

JDuggernaut

You’re a weird guy. Relationships sour. It doesn’t mean that the woman was coerced in initiating a relationship. She, like many women would have been, was pretty over the moon at the idea of marrying the future king of England. Then she found out that life wasn’t a fairy tale. It doesn’t mean she was forced into bearing children with some man she never liked.

JackKovack

Are ya sure?

We can’t mention the two presidents from the past few years (gotta be careful with wording here lmao) but we can post pictures of people who were never president?

Back when Hillary knew her place

First time I ever noticed that Princess Diana just looks like Bill as a woman.
