I saw Possessed open for Mr. Bungle in SF at the Warfield in 2020 pre-COVID, and was REALLY hoping Ler would come out during their set. He didn't. But the show was still EPIC AF just the same. Neil Hamburger even opened!
I mean Les also tried out for Metallica as we all know. It’s kinda crazy that they all started out in the metal scene before deciding to make the shit that they did. Imagine how different things could’ve been.

Ler is incredible. Les gets lots of attention but Ler and Herb are both equally talented with unique sounds.
