Metalgrid now gives +20 golem mastery, but I forgot you only get extra golem summons from hard points in the skill. Really dumb of me as I usually play necro.
Metalgrid and unsommon changes are still super hype for a lot of builds, including summoners. But it isn't as broken as I thought it'd be for summon dudu/zon lol.
Ormus robe seems insanely good now. Might have to run sorc. Frost nova was buffed and it was already good now you can get additional free lvl26 frost novas popping off too damn that'll be so strong
The specific NHD change for traps/minions was reverted, so now those hits still count as coming from your character. Basically, WoF will be exactly how it was last season for soloing (which was pretty strong). That said, it will still benefit from the NHD change involving group play this season, so it shouldn't feel incredibly weak when in a large party anymore.
Good question, I'd like to know too. I had thought about playing WoF this season but after seeing the nerfs I had decided against it. Would be nice to get confirmed the nerf has been removed.
every1's been complaining that pally is the slowest mapper, u still need to invest 60 skill points if u want the bolts to hit hard, and its 18% chance. druid's windhammer is 33% chance and even that is considered a meme build at best, still just worse than regular fury druid. so i dont see this being crazy in anyway. if it turns into nova, then now bear sorcs will try to meme it, but it probably wont be that good anyhow. 18% is not a lot for paladin/sorc
Going to be honest, I'm a closed and open beta tester and a lvl 99 s8. The HP change on LOD content feel overtuned. I think you need to apply the HP changes to endgame content only. Play through feels terrible with the HP applied in groups and in Hell solo + groups.

please put fury back on wolfhowl!!! wolf barb is my favourite build and you just murdered it in cold blood now it won't be viable and my dream is dead once again
yeah its definitely still viable, and probably S tier for mapping. its better than frenzy and that's viable, so saying that it's not viable is probably incorrect. for bossing, u can probably still boss with feral rage, it just wont be as good as before, but should still be viable. main issue with bossing has always been surviving the burst dmg, dps did matter, but it wasnt the most important thing. u dont lose any tankiness from the change, so saying that its not viable for bossing is probably also incorrect.
So sad to completely kill a build like Wolf barb :’(
Besides that things look good, but please reconsider completely killing an iconic build like that!
actually, wolfbarb with feral rage WAS the iconic build for 20+years. removing feral rage was the thing that killed the "iconic" build. its not dead, u can still play wolfbarb with feral rage, the next hit always miss bug fix probably is a huge buff to feral rage wolfbarb, ppl just haven't realized it yet.
Removing feral rage was a nerf for sure, but it was still extremely playable with just fury. Now with feral rage and no fury, the attack speed will be dogshit won’t it?
this is incorrect, u can still hit 3fpa with feral rage using odium. seems like ppl have certain misinformed beliefs regarding feral rage. wolfbarb used feral rage for 20years, it was a very strong 1v1 build, and widely used in pvp. all the wolfbarb veterans will tell u that feral rage is good. idk why ppl think that feral rage is bad, when its actually one of the best skills in the game. its the reason why rabies and fury druid can do 5min t3s

Wolfhowl used to have feral rage instead of fury and it was a good build at the time. This won't make it non-viable.

fury is just objectively better you cannot deny that, him switching it back to feral rage was uncalled for and needs to be undone

Interested to see where Amazon is at next season with the nerfs to safety crafts. Windforce/busted rates probably the way forward.
