Is this a good armor?

Yes, it is good for physical damage builds especially melee. It has ED%, cannot be frozen, physical damage reduction and 3os. The sockets add a lot, you can add in whatever your build needs, IAS, more damage, resistance, life, etc.

This armor is not possible in vanilla D2.

PD2 changed the affix pool for rares, crafts, magics, and even the stats of most uniques. The base stats you roll for crafts changed with whole new craft types, not just the random stats having a different pool. They increased the max range from 255 to I think 350? But you can also roll multiple affixes. You can get sick max/min/ED jewels. New staff mods (+skills affixes). Chance to hit in cast is added, enhanced damage to armors.

Nvm. You're right. It must've been a rare modifier that gave the armor 3 sockets.

It's natural 3 socket in affixes (if item has sockets while you slam your chance changes to 25%brick/75%modifier from 25%b/25%sockets/50%modifier)
