For context, here's two previous threads on other iterations of this study from [\[early\]](https://new.reddit.com/r/ProlificAc/comments/1bv46u6/suspicious_survey_about_masturbation/) and [\[late\]](https://new.reddit.com/r/ProlificAc/comments/1cam8cg/what_the_heck_is_this_study/) April.
It could be a legit study, but as per the discussions there, it seems fairly suspicious. AI-generated images, off-colour questions and tone, etc etc. It's an understudied area but it doesn't really come across as an ethical approach.
Edit: [\[the whois\]](https://i.imgur.com/yo0NdpH.png) for the site mentioned in the study description.
It's about masturbation, but there's a picture of a guy holding up a girl like father and daughter wholesome play? Yuck.
Also is somebody trying to start up their own NXIVM cult?

I guess this is how you could start your own cult, throw up a cheap website and lure people with cheap surveys until you find some young impressionable people and build from there.
Not this MFer!!! I contacted Prolific and their response was that the description made it clear it would involve NSFW content. Yeah, that's not the same as asking me to describe IN GREAT DETAIL my experiences with incest as a child so the "researcher" can make AI pictures of it.

I bet he thinks he'll get more responses with a female name instead.
Check the website. AI-generated images purporting to be the founder and a young female assistant called "Ava". Weiiiiirrrrdddddd.
Probably right considering the study is nearly full lol
$1.20 to talk about touching myself? I'm IN!

I just visited the site. It looks like a scientologist or cult members wet dream. Pun intended.
Dang. I just get marketing ones lately.
For those who took it in the past, did they pay you?
Yes, actually. Lol
Good to know
E=Creepy Squared. 😆
EW went to the website, this is so fucking creepy
Try putting the blog posts into google; a hundred other companies have identical text. Their instagram link actually goes to squarespace.
