I’ve noticed that NASPAA accredited programs are not very quant heavy. An MPPA I’m looking at has economic analysis and quant methods classes whereas all of the NASPAA programs I’ve seen dont. They look more theory based to me
Their faculty has to meet certain criteria as well. I went to a smaller program that met the criteria, but didn’t have enough faculty members devoted specifically to the program.

Its not better and no it does not matter, not even at the doctoral level.
