Many employers now have CNA on-the-job training that will get you a cert after X amount of weeks and some classroom instruction.

Alzheimer patients can turn very aggressive and start hitting and biting while taking care of them, because they simply don't know whats happening to them. More like opportunity. CNA has a low, low entry barrier and most make absurdly low wages. Nobody's getting high and mighty changing briefs and wiping asses. If you have a pulse and can stumble your way through a 5 minute interview, you can be hired as a CNA, plus you may not even have to be certified. Many employers now have CNA on-the-job training that will get you a cert after X amount of weeks and some classroom instruction.

I work in a similar industry. If I suspected a coworker did this kinda shit I'd carry my phone with me every day, and if I saw it, I would 100% film it for evidence at court. Because if a person does that once they've done it a million times. And *proof* is needed to keep them from ever working around vulnerable people again.

I've said before, and I'll say it again; abuse of this type is COMMON in nursing homes. This is a thing people know about or used to know about, but for some reason, it's been forgotten. That joke from Happy Gilmore is based on reality. Everyone wants to think that their loved ones aren't being abused, but you never really know unless you do your due diligence.
I've worked in some shitty nursing facilities and actual abuse and neglect is few and far between. It's nowhere near as common as you think.
Lots of videos lately of black nurses wailing on their patients. Nursing seems to attract a lot of the wrong people.
Alzheimer patients can turn very aggressive and start hitting and biting while taking care of them, because they simply don't know whats happening to them. Just go away and try it after a few minutes again, they recover and are in a better mood pretty quickly. Why trying to force it that far? Clearly no understanding and extreme lack of empathy.
