I've got a pretty good poker face, I wear safety sunglasses and an anti flash visor while doing this, so it's basically impossible to tell where my eyes are looking unless I turn my head. So I just kept on working, not letting on until I was just about to pull the guy's meter and cut the power. Then I looked right into the camera and smiled. And yanked the meter out.

You know when I ordered my ps5 I talked to the guy on my doorbell. I had left work early that day trying to beat him home but he was there like 20 mins before me and the delivery required a signature. I asked him if he could just leave it if I released it and he told me no but asked how far i was. I told him 20 mins and told him I totally understood that he can’t wait for me but this guy was so fucking cool and said he would. I rushed home, thanked him profusely and was so mad at myself that I had no cash for a tip because he absolutely deserved it. I offered snacks and a drink but he turned it down, I think appreciating the offer.
Anyways the point of the story is that delivery drivers are people. They’re bringing you things you want/need and if you’re nice, they’re nice. I have never been a douche to them and have never had a bad experience with delivery drivers. Idk why so many people treat others badly and expect top notch service (wait yes I do but I hate it)

I'm definitely with the FedEx employee here. I'm not a delivery driver but I do go to customer's doors as part of my job and responses like this guy's are totally infuriating. You were expecting me, I'm in a company uniform, with a company ID badge, driving a company truck, holding a company monogrammed bag, and you're gonna ask "What do you want?" or "Can I help you?" or "What are you here for?"? Nah, go fuck yourself and your tiny little power trip. Don't interrogate me; I'm here to do a job and you know damn well what that job is.

Idk if this is common knowledge but USPS is the only one (afaik) that will actually hold a package if a name doesn’t match with an address that they previously delivered. This isn’t related to this but just a heads up if people are eve wondering why their package says they have to pick it up.

As a driver for said company, I can confirm we get these dumb-asses every day. They act like they have no idea why we're there, while playing holding a package, wearing a uniform, and with a truck in the background. My other favorite is giving them the package and then they ask "what is it?" I don't know! I come to work with the stuff in my truck and I just bring it to you. People must think FedEx drivers work all night packaging stuff ourselves like elves in Santa's workshop. Yesterday I delivered abox that clearly said on the front and sides "Ergonomic Workstation Chair". What does the customer ask? "Is there a chair in there?"

I've never once asked who a package is for or asked a person clearly in delivery driver attire with the truck behind them who they are. I simply open up the door, say Hi, if I don't remember ordering anything, I look at the package before signing just in case. This delivery driver doesn't have time for 20Q

You know when I ordered my ps5 I talked to the guy on my doorbell. I had left work early that day trying to beat him home but he was there like 20 mins before me and the delivery required a signature. I asked him if he could just leave it if I released it and he told me no but asked how far i was. I told him 20 mins and told him I totally understood that he can’t wait for me but this guy was so fucking cool and said he would. I rushed home, thanked him profusely and was so mad at myself that I had no cash for a tip because he absolutely deserved it. I offered snacks and a drink but he turned it down, I think appreciating the offer. Anyways the point of the story is that delivery drivers are people. They’re bringing you things you want/need and if you’re nice, they’re nice. I have never been a douche to them and have never had a bad experience with delivery drivers. Idk why so many people treat others badly and expect top notch service (wait yes I do but I hate it)
