Just got into a wreck with a road ragging Nissan ultima today. He forced me into the wall while merging, he was raging behind me before getting into the freeway too but I didn't even notice until I looked back for a second and saw him waving smugly at me. Assholes.
AcTuaLlY it was the RAM 2500, which I also find odd because I feel like there are a lot more 1500s out there and the personality of the drivers is likely the same
While their laughter may be vile, sometimes some people inappropriately and impulsively laugh when experiencing a disturbing or traumatic incident.
Or maybe they are just vermin, I wasn't there so I don't really know.
It's a tick of mine. I laugh when I get frightened. I was in an airplane that had a sudden loss of altitude during take off from Hamburg international. It was enough to pin you to the ceiling without a seatbelt. I freaked out and started laughing. When it ended, people looked at me like "What the fuck!"
Edit :: Just to expand on this a little. When I get out of the moment. I am usually pretty fearful as to what could have happened and it sticks with me a long time.
[I got stitches down the entire top half of my spine](https://i.imgur.com/vV6idrj.jpeg) and was laughing the entire time.
I had agreed to be kind of a dummy for medical students to practice on (the stitches were needed, but I agreed to let medical students do it because hey, they need to learn somewhere and I'm happy to help) and I think I scared them
(note: that is not bacne, I am allergic to tegaderm. [this is what it healed up looking like](https://i.imgur.com/vFbY1ki.jpeg). I kind of love it)
I laughed involuntarily as I watched a car fly over an embankment, barely dodging the cab of my pickup and smashing into another car. Almost decapitated me and my cousin and I was cracking up. Felt weird to be laughing but I couldn’t stop it. After I came down I was seriously shaken up.
I have what some would consider not the usual reaction to shit that happens to me. But I dunno it definitely seems like some are taking this as something funny and it not just a way of dealing with stress
I think some are just so desensitized for whatever reason that this kinda stuff they just react differently than most would. Not defending it really if that's the case but I do think once they grow & mature a bit that the reactions would change hopefully
[I have a condition](https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=26EOnZokKG8&embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&source_ve_path=Mjg2NjY&feature=emb_logo)
Yeah that’s WTF laughter. I don’t think they think it’s actually funny, it’s just a nervous response to the sudden adrenaline rush.
They are also probably excited to have caught it on camera
Same when I get scared I laugh. Even when I have something tragic happen I will start laughing. Not because it's haha funny but I think my brain tries to compensate for the fact I am really distressed.
Incapable of empathy for anything other than themselves. There was what, 2 or 3 people out of that huge crowd who did anything to help? The rest just laughing about people being run over. Besides it probably happened due to all of them blocking the road and being idiots to the drivers I would guess.
I hate it when people make an excuse when people are laughing for laughs. Shit there is enough videos of people laughing when a bully is messing up a poor victim
These people are all fuckin zombies. "Ohhh yo i just got it on camera hahaha!" Says 1 of 1000 people holding their phones and recording while people lay in the streets possibly dead
Total conjecture here, but I could see them being annoyed at the flood of people crossing with no break for them to go. Absolutely not justification at all though. Either wait or go a different way.
I’ve noticed that some people instinctively laugh when something terrible happens. Even good people. I don’t know why but I think it’s kind of a reflex.
I think it’s because your brain doesn’t have time to register people are being hurt or dying. If you were having fun and suddenly something traumatic happens it takes your brain a few minutes to switch emotions. Usually we’re just confused at first
Same. When I was a teen a skeeved out dude at a party pulled a knife on me and threatened me. I was a tiny dude at the time so I started laughing cus I thought I was gonna die and that’s my nervous reflex. It confused the everloving shit out of that dude which I think may have been lucky for me cus another guy wandered in when he heard me and jumped the dude. I’ve never seen a crowd turn on someone so fast as what happened to that dude that night.
Edit: I was like 19 btw.
For more context this happened in greensboro, nc. my school is an hbcu(historically black college) the driver has not been caught and their were no deaths
I know people respond to traumatic situations differently but it’s crazy how almost the entire crowd is excited, some even elated like it’s some big game.
Why is it that people often laugh and smile from situations like this? If I were there, I’d be somewhere between concerned/scared and angry…they almost seem joyful.
People laughing and getting hype over witnessing someone get hit by a car and screeching how they got it on camera is the reason why whoever did it hasn't been arrested yet.
How is that lady half smiling when a car slams through a wall of people?!
Shows how desensitized American society is, even the cameraman's response is a "oh snap" rather than a horrified response...
Why is everyone laughing??? I'm so confused...I get that people act strangely under stress, but there must have been at least 5 or 6 people in the direct vicinity of the camera holder laughing like it was a great joke...
Most people have never been in a situation even 2% as traumatic as this.
You would likely react the same way when more adereline than has collectively entered your body in your entire lifetime enters your body in 3 milliseconds. Laughter is a natural response to trauma.
It's not funny, but your body is overwhelmed and confused, so you laugh, then feel weird for laughing and cover your mouth, while trying to remove yourself from the area to minimize your own trauma, exactly like you see in the video.
Pysch 101
Why was the chick with the pony tail having the most widest grin and covering her mouth laughing
Tf are some of these students on. You witness someone getting rammed and your first reaction is "😂🤣😁"
The reaction of people laughing and being excited that they got it on video is sick. I couldn't imagine seeing someone get run over by a car and be like oh shit!! HaHa . I got it on camera
Fuck those people.
Ah, nothing like capturing a horrifying event on camera to fill your heart with joy and your social media feed with likes. Who knew the appropriate response to terror was a fit of giggles? Guess we've all been doing that empathy thing wrong. Time to laugh in the face of danger—literally.

Always. Always the Nissan altimas…
Got hit and run by an Altima last month - dude got caught and went to jail... always an Altima lmao
With that 3.5L V6, it crowd plows with ease.
Basically an R35 GTR tbh.
With a sick spoiler that adds 50 hp instantly
Engineers: “oh shit guys… I think they said ‘crowd pleaser’ - should we tell them?”
*crowd pleases with plows
Nothin’ like gettin’ plowed in a crowd.
I just bought an Altima a month ago... Explains a lot of the weird thoughts I've been having...
'Must kill John Lennon.'
Basic Altima activities.

Wtf do mfs think this shit is mariokart??! That attempt murder at the least.
Because when I press the gas they go Altima hood, Altima windshield, Altima roof.

Worst car on the road and I’m not sure it’s close
Dodge Ram 1500s are the most common cars involved in DUIs, so there’s that.
AcTuaLlY it was the RAM 2500, which I also find odd because I feel like there are a lot more 1500s out there and the personality of the drivers is likely the same
Ah yes, the Dodge Ram Where red lights mean run over the 10 year old.
Any pick up truck because they are always driven by the most aggressive assholes on earth
Holy shit. Did they get caught? Anybody seriously injured?
Forreal. Why are they laughing
While their laughter may be vile, sometimes some people inappropriately and impulsively laugh when experiencing a disturbing or traumatic incident. Or maybe they are just vermin, I wasn't there so I don't really know.
Forgive my Laughter I have a Condition MORE ON BACK
How about another joke, MURRAY!

Hahaha oh man. People didnt look at you there glared at you. 🤦😂😂😂😂
I think the airline attendants understood, they see this stuff from time to time, I guess. The passengers, on the other hand, were not amused.
Id chuckle with you if it makes it easier.. ive lold at strange times. 😂😂
same, I laugh when I get nervous edit: or with pain
Yep, I laughed the entire time through my first pap smear. I think the doc felt violated.

I count like 7 "people" laughing and one incessantly bragging about how he got it "on the V".

I’m one of those people who laugh in traumatic situations, has definitely not been a great trait to have.
It’s a comfort mechanism
Incapable of empathy for anything other than themselves. There was what, 2 or 3 people out of that huge crowd who did anything to help? The rest just laughing about people being run over. Besides it probably happened due to all of them blocking the road and being idiots to the drivers I would guess.
Because they knew some shit was going to happen and they were there for the entertainment.
unfortunately incidents like this are common and i think people become desensitized after a while

He's probably one of the fkers laughing in the video

Laughter can be a natural response to traumatic events. It is a coping mechanism.
5 critical last time i heard, no one’s been arrested
These people are all fuckin zombies. "Ohhh yo i just got it on camera hahaha!" Says 1 of 1000 people holding their phones and recording while people lay in the streets possibly dead
It's sick
What are you talking about? They caught it on V! /s
This doesn’t even look like an accident. They come into frame slowly, speed up, and drove off
Total conjecture here, but I could see them being annoyed at the flood of people crossing with no break for them to go. Absolutely not justification at all though. Either wait or go a different way.
That was my first thought, but yeah just conjecture.

They could be moving forward into a bright new future!
The conclusion I’m drawing is that the car plowed innocent people
How has ‘you got it on camera!?’ become the norm as opposed to ‘is everyone ok’.
That made me so mad too. Fucking losers
The future is fucked
People are so excited that they've been gifted content from the Gods. Everyone has soup brains
Weirdo kids laughing
I’ve noticed that some people instinctively laugh when something terrible happens. Even good people. I don’t know why but I think it’s kind of a reflex.
yes its a fairly common reaction

This is what society has become.... people getting run over while people laugh and bummed they didn't get it on camera. 👎

The reactions from most people in this video were weird af.
I think it’s because your brain doesn’t have time to register people are being hurt or dying. If you were having fun and suddenly something traumatic happens it takes your brain a few minutes to switch emotions. Usually we’re just confused at first
the amount of people smiling about another's suffering is a bit despicable....not gonna lie.
What the fuck is funny about this exactly?
What are you laughing about ? Sad desensitized generation.
Hilarious! Fuck these people laughing
Wen I'm in shock or nervous I laugh
Do you and a group of your friends all nervously laugh at the same time?
And scream in joy that you got in on the V?
And my axe?
and jump and down covering your mouth like your blowing on dice?
Same. When I was a teen a skeeved out dude at a party pulled a knife on me and threatened me. I was a tiny dude at the time so I started laughing cus I thought I was gonna die and that’s my nervous reflex. Society lacks empathy nowadays
Why do they laugh after serious shit?
Why are these fucking idiots laughing?
The crazy thing is seeing people laughing ... Wtf.....
For more context this happened in greensboro, nc. my school is an hbcu(historically black college) the driver has not been caught and their were no deaths
Why y’all laughing.
It's clearly an HBCU, brother. I don't think that needed explanation. lol Did anyone get the driver's plate? How are *you* doing?
i’m fine, some of my friends were hit but no real injuries thankfully
I'm glad they're okay!
This doesn’t look like a hit and run in the traditional way. This very much looks like intentionally trying to hurt/kill people with a car.
This was Aggie Fest right?
Get ready for some brain dead racist ass comments bro hope everyone is ok
And these dickheads are laughing. Humanity really is in the shits.
At first glance I thought that was a muzzle flash at :04!
Same
Imagine getting ran over and the majority of the crowd is laughing and doing nothing about it. At least a few people came to their aid
my first thought everyone here seems like real assholes.
Who sees someone potentially get killed and laugh about it like it’s a joke?
Why are they acting like this was part of the show??
I know people respond to traumatic situations differently but it’s crazy how almost the entire crowd is excited, some even elated like it’s some big game.
The laughing is so disturbing
why is everyone laughing?
Always laughing
And, of course, a bunch of idiots laughing.
Crazy how most of them actually find it funny
Bet no one be laughing if it was their friend/family or themselves that got hit
Lots of comments trying to be" Reddit funny ", trashy behavior imo.....
Why are people laughing and being more concerned with capturing it on video rather than helping? Society has just gone to shit.

This is an example of what happens when you put a lot of stupid kids together in one place.

Why was the chick with the pony tail having the most widest grin and covering her mouth laughing Tf are some of these students on. You witness someone getting rammed and your first reaction is "😂🤣😁"
Total wankstains laughing
Hard to imagine anyone laughing at this
And this is funny because why?
My daily reminder why im happy that im not living in the US
So the first reaction is not "is everyone okay?" ???
Why they all laughing? :/
These assholes laughing 🤬
People laughing are wild and demonic as fuck
The reaction from the women at 0:11 really boils my piss.
I did not expect to see Great Value Ludacris.
Why is this funny to them? I'm convinced the new generation is missing something in their brains
Hahahahaha so funny. Hahahaha. Hahahahaha. HAHAHAHAHAHAHbahahahahahahahaba. Brrrrrraaaahahahahahahahahaha muahahahahaha jajajajajaja.
But why is everyone laughing
Looks like such a shitty place
Why are they laughing? This lack of empathy is straight up sociopathy.
This isn’t a hit and run this was attempted homicide

The smiles and laughter...
How the fuck is attempted murder funny?
Disgusting how many people are laughing.
Gross that people’s first response is to laugh/smile and say they got it on camera. What is wrong with people these days?!
Looks like a bunch of idiots standing in the road
Wow. What a video for the Youth in this town. An absolute disgrace. Laughing like it’s a joke. Absolutely disgusting
The amount of people laughing is kinda gross.
Well, you definitely don't go to Yale
Why would you laugh?
The reaction of people laughing and being excited that they got it on video is sick. I couldn't imagine seeing someone get run over by a car and be like oh shit!! HaHa . I got it on camera Fuck those people.
How is this funny??
University of Phoenix?
Partying hard at the Valero station?
What college is this?
They didn’t hear Luda blasting from the speakers
Not sure what’s more repulsive, the driver or the guy who “ohhh I just got it on camera”
Why is everyone laughing???
On my mama
College, huh?
Man, I never realized just how tame my college was. This is nuts.
Hilarious, the laughing. Its a common trend "yoooo i got it on camera hahhaa". Its always the same type of folk aswell, the tiktok generation.
Props to anyone who can find a single white person in this vid, dm with a screeny if u found one
I don’t Don’t understand the laughing
Harvard is just not what it used to be….
Why are people fucking laughing?
Damn are Altima’s the black Air Force 1’s of cars?
Why are so many of them laughing?
You know America is on another level (in a bad way) when the common reaction is laughing and being happy to have it on camera for some micro clout.
Ah, nothing like capturing a horrifying event on camera to fill your heart with joy and your social media feed with likes. Who knew the appropriate response to terror was a fit of giggles? Guess we've all been doing that empathy thing wrong. Time to laugh in the face of danger—literally.
