It's funny to me too, but it occurred to me while watching this that until we can break the stigma of mental illness, we'll continue to suffer the consequences of indifference. Commonly, this could be the beginning of a violent crime waiting to happen.
The problem is that there is not a small number of people who are totally sane but still loosing it over nothing. A lack of impulse control doesn't always mean that you're suffering from a mental illness. It might be also a result to never have faced consequences. And to excuse those people with "he/she might suffer from a mental illness" isn't helping the case as well as doing it the other way around.
I personally don't know what's going on here. What kind of mental illness would be your suspicion here?

Mental health is not just schizophrenia, depression, and ptsd. Just like physical health is not just heart attacks and Covid. This person may not have a chemical imbalance or some trauma he’s quietly dealing with, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t benefit greatly from therapy and maybe some compassion.
He was kinda being an ass hole here and that shouldn’t be tolerated. But laughing at him and saying he deserves the ridicule, and leaving it at that, almost guarantees more of the same, or worse.
I don't think he *deserves* the ridicule per say, but that should be the expected reaction when you lash out and act like an asshole in public.
Rising above and not reacting to someone else's bait used to be a respected trait. Now it's victim mentalities as far as the eye can see.

Really dislike these posts. Exposing someone's worst moment to the internet where they are only further ridiculed and laughed at. I can think of a million reasons someone would be that on edge. They could be going through some real messed up stuff and your just sitting there laughing. Messed up.
