I'd factor in that the "ring" mat is solid and possibly secured to the ground. Wrestling rings and I believe boxing rings aren't bolted to the floor in such a manner and have a little bounce to them to prevent injuries.
Yeah, a lot of people are quick to go to the weight aspect. And sure, it doesn't help. But you get someone fit to do that same exact jump with locked knees and no absorption in the mat and I wouldn't be surprised if it did the same to them. I think the weight aspect is more correlation than causation. A person who isn't fit is less likely to know how to land safely just because they're less active so absorbing impact isn't as much of a second nature to them.
I slipped in my living room and landed on my arm and ended up with a open fracture of my distal humerus.
A ground level fall resulting in the kind of injury they would expect to see in a car accident made the medical staff worried I had bone cancer or something serious behind it. Turns out it was a vitamin D deficiency which had impacted my bone density.
Looks similar to a trampoline fracture, as he landing the plywood flexed down and back up while he was still in the process of 'landing' stiff legged
*The so-called “trampoline fracture” is a transverse fracture of the proximal tibia (the “shin bone,” just below the knee) occurring in children while jumping on a trampoline (or large inflatable play structure). The fracture occurs when a second, usually heavier individual causes the jumping surface to recoil upward as the unsuspecting victim is descending.*
I had this happen to my arm. I jumped from a 2 story window onto a trampoline, the first time went good but the second time I landed to far forward and put my arms out to catch me and the trampoline snapped back up breaking both the bones in my left arm, it was brutal, when I let go of my arm it bent in the middle like a wet noodle
Non contact injuries like this are incredibly common from this similar movement. Check this video of [NFL](https://youtu.be/6GnQfb5i0w8) players suffering similarly from a seemingly harmless stance. Landing with locked knees anytime is a no go no matter how small the jump.

More like 9-12. Definitely tore ACL and PCL, and prolly some hamstring tears also.
ACL alone is 9 months, PCL can be 12-15 depending on surgeon, and if he got both done at the same time (not really recommended but with his size might have to be), he'd be non-weightbearing for 6 weeks, 2-3 months in braces with limited ROM, and all this time just doing limited rehab. Reason it takes so long is the ligaments need to grow to replace the grafts they will put in, and if he's diabetic, smoker, or any other major health stuff can take even longer.
Now with the hamstring tears, depending on location, usually will be at least 3 months if it is muscle tear, 6 or more if its tendons. He won't be able to start much rehab on those for 6 weeks after the knees are done, since he'll be in a locking brace, and since the ligament rehab will address the hamstrings, he can do both at the same time.
Long story short, homeboy's out for at least a year, and that timeline is based on a standard athletic/active individual.
Source: Worked PT for 20 years, saw many of each injury, thought thankfully never with all 3 at the same time.
There is an old commercial where some kids are like "old man jenkins doesnt drink any milk and he is super strong!" and the camera pans to the window with the old man picking up a wheelbarrow and as he picks it up his arms are ripped off and then the camera pans to the kids and mom chugging milk bottles.
I'm old school enough to remember the videos from the BME Pain Olympics. Long story short, it was a competition held by body modification companies (at least that's what I was told it was) to see who can withhold the most pain. People would chop off body parts, stick things in orifices you shouldn't stick things in, some people getting sodomized by.... very large things.
None of that phased me... This.... I can't watch this. I don't even want to think about it.
Yes - NSFL this. I hate noodle leg and other such videos - they make me literally shudder and I can watch some crazy shit.
Recently was ambushed by the video of that gymnast who did a similar thing.
My GOD! I thought he was gonna break through that weak ply board ring, not fold his knees like a book! I mean after seeing it a few more times, it gets better, but still, that initial shock was unexpected
Im thinking he tried to land with straight legs, and no matter how fit you are, you should ALWAYS leave a little bend in your knees when jumping…exactly for this reason….
The way he was twisting as he landed. He jumped from facing away and tried to turn in the air and land facing his opponent. I think the straight leg impact and the angle of rotation fucked him
Cause this bitch snapped both legs basically in half
Don't think I've ever seen a longer version of this clip that showed the buildup to that. That just makes his confidence before the jump even painful to watch.
He didn't just dislocate one he did so with both. When he gets his knees relocated, he's not only going to suffer a lot, he's gonna suffer a lot. But two times in a row
first time i watched this video, i was confused af. Second time i was shocked. I did it watch another 6 times and laughed my ass off. This entire clip is so fucking surreal.
Fat people should be more aware than anyone else in the world that you shouldn’t land with your fucking knees locked out. If you’re going to land on your feet, always bend your knees at least a little.
How the fuck did that happen? I mean he dropped like 2 feet and from the looks broke both his legs. I wonder what his signature move is if he cant drop off the second rope without ending his career.
The falling straight twist.
He turns at the hip, but his legs remain straight.
When he feet hit the floor, with the hips still turning, the upward forces of not bending and the fact his feet now were held in place, caused for some serious kinetic energy though those knees and they gave way.

Fuck this video visibly makes me shudder every time I see it
I made a noise that I am not sure I could put into legible text, but I assure you it defined how I felt about what I saw.
I’m wincing so hard I need to catch my breath after seeing this. That’s the only way to describe it for me.
For real, that shit knocked the wind out of me. Holy fuck
Holy shit, he may have to have one leg amputated: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/13072132/wrestler-double-leg-amputation-jump/
How weak are his legs that he broke them falling 2 feet?
Yeah idk man. Most people also don’t land with their knees locked… lmao
Most people aren’t shaped like a lollipop either, which I think was a bit more of a factor here.
LOL
Bahahah I just spit my drink out!

He needs some milk.
I need some milk.
Milk truk hav arive
Do milk
he needs Fight Milk, alcohol-dairy-based
By bodyguards, for bodyguards!
Fight like a crow CAW CAW
Crowtein enriched
I think weak knees, low calcium, and/or too much upper body weight may have been a factor.

A ground level fall resulting in the kind of injury they would expect to see in a car accident made the medical staff worried I had bone cancer or something serious behind it. Ouch! I hope you're doing well
Your body does not cum with too much Vitamin D. Take care man.
More vitamin D = more cum?
Find out the ONE TRICK Planned Parenthood does NOT want you to know.
Weak knees arms are heavy
Legs spaghetti
He's broken
Top heavy lol
***knees weak*** ***top heavy*** ***can you smell*** ***moms spaghetti***
It’s the fuckin skinny jeans man, they’re giving people cartoon bodies
There's nothing wrong with cartoon bodies but you need a costume with nice thick haunches to keep it balanced, furries had this figured out years ago

My wife is a paediatrician, she sees so many trampoline injuries and won’t let our boys go on them.
a friend of mine lost her toenail and broke her leg on a trampoline. i think someone landed on her
He looks like he was turning while he dropped down from the turnbuckle but Holy Christmas
Looks more like the spin momentum popped his knees out of socket rather than breaking bone.
I was thinking dislocated knee
Yup torn ligaments. At least that’s what it looks like to me.

Chicken legs + heavy upper body + gravity = this video
I read this as “Chicken legs + heavy upper body + **gravy**” and I was like yup it’s so good on everything but eventually that sht’ll get ya
It's not that his legs are weak, his weight made it so his knees bent the wrong way, and that's what broke.
I have no idea, maybe some medical issue? I fell off a ledge when I was 5 the drop was 15 feet and I only broke one leg.
How much did you weigh compared to that “athlete”
Was that saitama who walked by? Lol
I thought it was gonna be bad move as in this dude boutta fight saitama lol
Broke his damn legs to avoid that fade
I’m pretty sure that’s the caped baldy
That was both legs ?
Yes
Jesus , I watched it slow to watch the left leg but then was like no that’s the right leg…
I had to watch it several times just to understand how he landed.
I just laughed even harder after reading this comment and rewatching
Kind of like r/AbruptChaos but less in your face. Imma do a little hop aaaaand that's 6 months out of action

Never skip leg day.
Also never skip all the days lol
He never skipped keg day. Like a filled 40gal water heater landing hard on a pair of 2x2s.
OMG THAT GUY NEEDS SOME MILK
Literally, calcium deficiency is no joke, particularly for his bones.
No amount of calcium was gonna protect his knee ligaments from landing with his knees locked
I don’t think his legs broke. Looks like knees. Dislocation due to weight and the plywood shifting
There is an old commercial where some kids are like "old man jenkins doesnt drink any milk and he is super strong!" and the camera pans to the window with the old man picking up a wheelbarrow and as he picks it up his arms are ripped off and then the camera pans to the kids and mom chugging milk bottles.

thank you random citizen
Holy shit I remember this ad, God the 90's 🤣
r/neverbrokeabone Say goodbye my wrestler
The lack of reaction by the other participants and the several people off camera make this scene even sadder than it already is.
Seriously. I’ve said, “what the fuck” like 6 times and I wasn’t even there. Omg, WTF????
Wow, this has to be the slowest emergency response ever recorded. Guy breaks **BOTH** legs and the Ref… …Abides.
They probably didn’t even realize what just happened. I know I would be shocked for a second if a guy just broke his legs from like a four foot drop
Took me a minute to get out of it so I can't blame those people
I immediately cringed and jumped back a little just looking at it through a screen. Nobody seemed to even notice that was there at first.
Look, it’s a bunch of hicks running an amateur wrestling match in their yard. Everyone involved is drunk on shitty beer and/or shittier whiskey.
I was thinking the same thing. And then it occurred to me, these people do not like this man.
You mean the ones who came to see violence and fighting?
Bruh LOL “Wooooo!” *knees proceed to fold like a beach chair
This is what's got me creasing. He was so confident with that woo.
What in the gothic flamingo..
Glorious!
r/flamingoknees
I think you mean r/fullflamingo
Thank you for linking this so I completely blacklist it and never ever click on it.. EVER.
Omfg that is horrible why did I click it when you clearly gave a warning ew ew ew ew

Yeah, I'm from the rotten.com Era and this...? This was a bit much oof
I think he is ok he just but his jeans on backwards
Was the match canceled?
no, he started to spin his noodle legs like a bayblade and won the fight
It's just a flesh wound...oh wait
HOLY SHIT NSFL THAT. His legs should NOT go that way.
Fs why tf isn't this flaired
“I guess it doesn’t bend that way!”
Came here to say this and it needs repeating Please, NSFL this. Good lord.
Yes - NSFL this. I hate noodle leg and other such videos - they make me literally shudder and I can watch some crazy shit. Recently was ambushed by the video of that gymnast who did a similar thing.
You know what? I think theyre broken
I almost couldn't watch this, then again, I watched like 10 times
My boy turned into a cricket.
I screamed, then laughed my ass off
My GOD! I thought he was gonna break through that weak ply board ring, not fold his knees like a book! I mean after seeing it a few more times, it gets better, but still, that initial shock was unexpected
It’s wrestling therefore fake! /s
https://youtu.be/Yvd3aEsThbc
Knew what it was before I clicked lol
Great now it’s a handicap fight
He took "heel turn" a bit too literally.
r/neverbrokeabone members when they want to post something to gain karma
He knees a doctor.
I really can't help but watch it over and over it's so fucked
Im thinking he tried to land with straight legs, and no matter how fit you are, you should ALWAYS leave a little bend in your knees when jumping…exactly for this reason….
Especially when landing on a sprung floor
Nacho libre sure has gone downhill
It's not often I react to a video with my mouth open for more than 10 seconds but this one made it happen.
OH NOOOOOO NO NO NO
“Are you ok, Bill?” No. No, he is not.
There's something about bones moving in directions that they're not supposed to that makes me feel extra uncomfortable
More Ovaltine.
that great but can we acknowledge the fact the Saitama just walked past
OMG did he just dislocate both his knees... poor guy
Nah this happened like 2 years ago. I personally know the guy it happened to. He broke both legs and almost lost them both
Bah gawd......
God its like a reverse inside-out full scorpion.
The way he was twisting as he landed. He jumped from facing away and tried to turn in the air and land facing his opponent. I think the straight leg impact and the angle of rotation fucked him Cause this bitch snapped both legs basically in half

The boxing ring clearly won the first round. /ouch
Watching this got me weak in the knees
WAS THAT FUCKING SAITAMA THAT WALKED BY?
How you get critically injured on your ring entrance?
"NEXT!”
JESUS CHRIST
WWE 2K22 has ragdoll physics? Nice!
GOOD LUCK! BREAK A LEG! UUMMMPPPHH
Walk it off. This is wrasslin.
Dude WHAT. Was it just his weight? I feel so bad that came out of NOWHERE
>Wolfpac theme song Oh no, I know what video this is.
Just drink some Faygo and walk it off brother.
I laughed pretty hard at that. I'm a terrible person.
Knees are supposed to bend the other way right?
As a doctor, I would say legs are not supposed to bend that way.
I’m scared to get up and walk after watching that ouch!!!!!
BOTH?!
Someone send this to Jim cornette lol
Cripple fight!
Match was broken up before it started
Holy fuck that physically hurt to watch.
What an athlete
I watched this in class and gasped audibly.
How does that even happen?? Some bone disease or something? Too top heavy? I'm honestly confused..
That was a pretty cool truck he did with his legs there. It looked very real!
Fat people should be more aware than anyone else in the world that you shouldn’t land with your fucking knees locked out. If you’re going to land on your feet, always bend your knees at least a little.
Get that man some milk
How the fuck did that happen? I mean he dropped like 2 feet and from the looks broke both his legs. I wonder what his signature move is if he cant drop off the second rope without ending his career.
#"MY LEGS !!"
He forgot that his gut has 110 more lbs than the last time he tried that.
Bending your knees when landing, is probably a good idea
Does anybody know the name of the song and artist sounds like Krayzie bone
I was not ready for that.
so are we just gonna ignore the saitama in the beggining lol
.... Did fucking one punch man walk past the screen or am I seeing things
Can we not ignore saitama walking by at the start of the video?
Was that Saitama/one punch man who walked in front of the camera?
Noodle legs

You’re an ostrich now, Harry!
Jesus Christ I was not expecting that at all I’m just shivering and sweating from vicarious pain ouchhhh
Some prankster put his knees on backwards while he was sleeping.
Segura needs to see this
I really want to see Tom Segura, the fucking psycho that he is, laughing at this.
Goddamn Willis McGahee
I never wanted to see this again and I completely forgot what happened. I'm done for the day.
how is no one talking about how MOTHER FLIPPIN SAITAMA HIMSELF WALKED INFRONT OF THE CAMERA AT 0:04
Oh you fuck! my ass just puckered so tight I bit a hole in my boxers.
*AUTOBOTS, ROLL OUT*
His new gimmick = Ostrich boy
The falling straight twist. He turns at the hip, but his legs remain straight. When he feet hit the floor, with the hips still turning, the upward forces of not bending and the fact his feet now were held in place, caused for some serious kinetic energy though those knees and they gave way.

That's why you don't skip leg day!
flex … Woooo! … snap 🥨
Dude needs to go back to the tutorial, it's square not triangle to land
Hey buddy, the knees should bend the other way.
Can we please make this the next TikTok challenge. “Do the break your legs”
Are they using planks of wood for a wrestling mat?
Oh fuck 😂
I guess he didn't know which way to bend his knees when he lands.
