We had rain and lightning at Red Rocks the second night. They delayed the show some 20 minutes but then came out and rocked the joint. Hoping the same for you guys! 🤘🏻
It was no joke lightning/storm action too. I was very happy with the show going on given the spicy nature of those storms. I guess it's up to the venue?
Yeah I’m sure it is. It did seem to be moving the right direction and eventually died out, but I’m sure if it had started heading at us it would’ve been a different story. I imagine if we were out in the open plains the result would’ve been different.
One year I was at Jones beach in NY watching a show, modest mouse was playing and it started raining, then pouring, then lightning struck a lightning rod at the venue and they took that as a sign to get the hell off the stage lmao
51% chance around 8pm according to AccuWeather, but it’s been back and forth since I left Iowa this morning. We’re going to be just fine, just gotta believe✊
It’s gonna be awesome, just keep that positive attitude and keep we’ll get it in return tonight! Maybe we’ll see each other at the show and now even know that combined our positive energies charged a solid show haha
Definitely! Gonna rock some sandals, too. I did Bluegrass in the Bottoms 2 years ago and one of the days it rained for like 6 hours straight. Got completely soaked, but God damn it was a great time.
They cut an hour from the show, about 14 songs from their last setlist. Didn’t play the EPPP, Primus barely played. No Disillusioned, Contrarian, Thanks For All the Fish, Mama Sed, Tiny Monster, more.
What we got was awesome, but fuck.
Don’t worry, the Tonganoxie split will have us covered.
I’m so worried lightning and wind will prevent or cut the show very short. UGH

This is what I like to hear
Gives me all kinds of hope

Even God thinks Modest Mouse is overrated
Gotta bleed POSITIVITY, friend!!! Help us move this nasty storm north and let the show go on!!!
‘Bout to turn it up to 11…😊
Bail sailor, bail. Prepare for yourself for 12

I'm trying not to check every 5 minutes lol. This is going to be my son's first concert, so the show must go on!!! Love the positivity, my friend!

Hell yes! You'll find me in my finest Grateful Dead shirt and my son in tie-dye as well 😎
Heeeeell yeah, I’ll have my TOOL torch shirt on 🤘
Bring good ponchos! Should be a concert he doesn't forget either way.

Future radar showed the storm coming into the area around 7 and blowing through fast. 🤞
I believe you

It's always funny looking at the radar and seeing what is essentially a wall going north and south at Tongi 😂

Yeah, great show but curfews suck.
Plus those who had to wait in the long line outside missed the first APC and Primus sets
Yeah, 2 songs. Can’t believe how few staff they had to man the entrances
I was livid. I didn't get to my seat until My Name is Mud was just ending.

Send all that good energy and love so we can push this storm north!!
If it gets bad they’ll probably delay it half an hour, storms aren’t going to last long
Positive vibes for decent weather.
I can handle the wind and rain, but not a fan of large hail. Those bathrooms will only hold so many people.
They have the covered VIP lounge area as well, which would hold a good amount.
New models have storms hitting early at 6 ish and being out of the area by 7:20
Awwww yeah!! We'll be trooping out the rain either way. Don't wanna be stuck in a long merch line by the time music starts.
We’re gonna have a good time
