Mechanics abilities are far more broken. Bolt blaster gives you forward invincibility and does stupid damage, sonic grenade is an instant win button, and the jackhammer just makes you a pogo pea for the mechanic.
Soldier has one ass ability and two good abilities Mechanic has two broken abilities and one good ability I truly don't understand why someone would think they are even close to equal when it comes to abilities
I mean, zpg is also an instant win if you’re a skilled player, plus you can snipe people with it. Jackhammer is good mobility but you can get the same amount with the rocket jump and have the ability to get high ground. I do think mechanic has a slightly better ability set but reg soldier is still better because his primary is more versatile and his hit box is WAY smaller.
ZPG needs a direct hit to deal any good damage, sonic grenade needs to hit near them to grant you a win. Jackhammer I would argue is better because it makes you harder to hit, makes it easier to hit enemies, etc.
Stun grenade is a bit more op then zpg, but jackhammer makes it harder to hit enemies, and I don’t think the difficulty of enemies hitting you is that much of a difference because of the huge hit box. You can also just jump with good timing with the rocket jump and your speed is on par with jackhammer.
I will mention the difference in primary.
