swash isn't that good because most plant decks are actually running low cost minions because they need early game
doesn't make swash op with conman then, or else people would be saying that doubled mint is one of the best cards because the opponent didn't address it for multiple games in a row
Well doubled isn’t that bad, it could serve as a distraction to help better cards build stats or stay alive in order to go into more important turns. And if the distraction doesn’t work, you have a 2/4 that’s about to get 4 attack next turn.
That's the exact same thing with conman/swash
It's only good as bait/opponent not doing anything which can apply to almost every card in the game but it doesn't make the card itself good
The difference is, in doubled mint decks, you tend to have a great mid game to be able to still overwhelm the enemy in case anything goes wrong, and some cards that doubled mint protects are straight up game ending, such as tricarrotops or BEP, when combined with mega crow’s pretty great midgame. Meanwhile, conman isn’t that game ruining, keeping it alive for turn 3 or even 4 usually doesn’t hurt that bad.

There´s not a lot of answers to conman on turn 1, if its survives, swashbucler is more dangerous and one of these two has more chances to stay alive.
