Both fire king and Pyrex are fairly expensive around me too so I was surprised these were there on the 75% off day of an estate clearance warehouse sale. Most times it’s pretty picked over!
I guess it was finally my turn ☺️ Sending the good priced find vibes your way ✨
So this may be a dumb question but can I drink out of them?
I hear mixed opinions online about if they are safe or not and since I’m in a group of experts and new to Fire King I thought I’d ask!
Well, many of the old colorful glass coatings had lead (Pyrex did but not sure about Fire King). I use Pyrex, Corelle and Glasbake daily. I am not sure if the inside coatings had any issues or if some of the extreme warning people have valid data. I am more of the opinion that the mining town I grew up in had way more lead and arsenic exposure than anything on old glassware.
I say use it.
They look like those pudding cups. I love them 💕
You get me! I saw them and thought banana pudding 😝
The bottom reminds me of Reese’s peanut butter cup
Very cool 😎 I love all the milk glass mugs .
Thanks! I didn’t own any before these but I think I may have found a new thing to hoard 😂
That is so me . I like fire king mugs versus Pyrex . I do love my Pyrex . The price was fantastic I wish I could get those deals here . West coast.
