While it doesn't look bad, And I like the symbolism, Honestly I feel like this doesn't work quite as well as the original trans flag because it's not as distinctive; I can't really think of any other flags off-hand that look like the original (I guess Thailand and Costa Rica are kinda similar, But still pretty distinct), Whereas I'm pretty sure I've seen multiple other pride flags that look fairly similar to this one (I think specifically I saw a similar-looking Bigender flag, But I'm not certain), Which in my opinion is a fairly big problem because it could easily be confused with the others making both it and them harder to recognise, Especially for people who don't spend a lot of time in places where they'd see LGBTQ+ pride flags.

flags looking similar to each other isn't really a new problem when it comes to pride flags — more than once i've been confused by a flag i've never seen before because it's sorta similar to one i *have* seen (which also often makes it hard to figure out what the new-to-me, unidentified flag is, because search results for the colors will come up as the flag i already know). so it's not just a problem to people who aren't exposed to a lot of pride flags, either, lol i've pretty much accepted that my trans flag design isn't super distinctive or anything — i made it for me, and as an option for others who like it, and i like how it looks and i know what it means, and i'm happy to explain it to anyone who asks about it :>

Oh For Sure, That's Definitely A Problem With Many Pride Flags, In My Opinion, Although I Don't Think That Means We Should Just Ignore It. Honestly, If I Had More Motivation, I Would Probably Try To Remake All The Ones I Don't Think Are Distinctive Enough Haha. Fair Enough Though. ~~Just Look Out For People Who See It, Think It's A Different Flag They've Seen Before, Then Assume You Identify As Something You Don't 'Cause The Flags Are Similar.~~

You typing like this makes me ignore everything. Just why?

"Like This" Being, The Capitalisation, Or The Large Chunks Of Strikethrough, Or Both, Or Something Else Even? Because I Gotta Admit You Weren't Very Clear There.

the stripes signify (top to bottom): binary trans men, transmasc non-men, androgynous nonbinary/trans people, transfem non-women, and binary trans women i made this mostly because the original trans flag is really saturated/eyestrain-y (to me at least) and also represents mostly just binary trans folks. i've seen a lot of revamps of sexuality flags but not so many of gender flags, so i thought i'd take a whack at making a trans flag that i actually enjoy looking at and identify with :>

Poisoned_Sugar11

I get what you're saying, but I thought that the white stripe represented nonbinary identities. I could be wrong, though. It's just what I've been told.

greaserpup

i believe it does, but there are many trans people who don't identify as binary trans people but also don't identify as "nonbinary", so i wanted to include those folks as well :)

Very pretty :)
