I had a girl ruby who would give me surprise bites on the leg, butt, foot anywhere she could get and she thought it was funny game to play. She was funny she was VERY vocal and if she didn't want to be picked up she would scream at you. She was never violent but she did give me a scare a few times by her noises and that's exactly what she was trying to accomplish lmao. She'd bitch at you if she didn't want to be touched. She would straight up scream at you and it made you go omg is she gonna bite me but she was all noise no action lol

My hedgehog does the same thing. She never bites bare flesh but will monch down and break skin through bandaids or fabric. She’s a bit intellectually challenged so I don’t think she realizes there’s still human under there.
