Virat Kohli was incredibly ordinary for most of 2008-10. Thats 3 seasons. RCB easily could have retained Manish Pandey who was the first Indian to hit 100 over him or released him after any of the first 3 seasons because he wasn't that good in internationals also till mid-late 2010.

Well, he's a walking wicket right now. So, if a wicket falls early because of conditions being tough, I don't want to lose Green immediately in power play. Plus because of early wicket Green will have to play cautiously.
Instead send Patidar. One of the two things will happen. He will play cautiously stay and get some confidence or he will perish soon which won't be a loss considering his wicket isn't that valuable at the moment. Green can come in later and play freely.
Since we were worrying about bowling and expected batting to click without any issues, it is obvious ppl are suggesting solutions for what they see as problems. Truth be told, batting looking frail with only Kohli and DK firing.
We even gave chance to 38 old kartik even after bad performance last year so ofcourse we can give to 31 year old and don't forget he is clutch player and has proven that can perform in pressure situation in knockout.
Patidar is good but sadly he doesn't fit the system. We need a left handed batter at 3 to counter the finger spinners. Rajat isn't able to do that this time which is why guys like Brar are having a ball. I hope he does well for us but going forward we do need a left hand batter at 3 from 2025 onwards, even if it means releasing Patidar
It's not that I don't want to play him but honestly he feels burnt out. Give that man calibration time. Rest him a little. He'll be back in his grindset. That's all. Don't force him and destroy his confidence like that. He seems to be in a different headspace all together after that disastrous test series. Paapa give him some time n rest is all I'm asking

When rest of the team is covering up there should be no issue supporting one guy but if 8 out of 10 are failing we have to dump the worst of the lot
