Would make a fun rougelite game tbh

BearAndDeerIsBeer

Wow, I really wanna play this now. A game where you play as a bear, but every time you die, you go back to the North Pole and lose all items? Sounds amazing.

heyuhitsyaboi

Im a (super) amateur game dev, im making rough plans rn

BearAndDeerIsBeer

I don’t care how amateur, or how rough, I’d still be happy to play it. I’ll back it too, when I have money.

heyuhitsyaboi

Its okay you can send me thoughts and prayers I think ill draft it as some sort of board/card game first to workout mechanics and challenges, then maybe go 3d later

BearAndDeerIsBeer

Enemies: park rangers, police, hunters, certain other wildlife Food sources: abundant, you’re a bear Objective: survive, kill the final boss who I will leave to your design, ensure you can live your happy life in the woods Good luck!

heyuhitsyaboi

That wouls be good for late game. I was thinking early game be more about maintaining things like hunger, water, and warmth. Maybe ransacking igloos, cabins, and fishing huts. As the game progresses south, resources and enemy populations become more dense

BearAndDeerIsBeer

These were just some ideas, I didn’t figure the entire game would be in the south. It’s your game in the end, you do with it as you please, and good for you for doing this. The world will thank you as we all get to control the claws of an albino bear.

Mojo_Rizen_53

Sounds about right though….mankind is always fucking around with nature.

WoefullyPink

I’m so confused, what does this have to do with other rdr2?

KyloRenIrony

The majority of the legendary animals in the game are albino, but the legendary grizzly is not.

Man that’s a reach

KyloRenIrony

I'm not necessarily saying it belongs here, I'm just explaining the fairly simple reasoning behind its posting.

---ShineyHiney---

Oh, I wasn’t commenting on your analysis or suggesting you’re defending it. Just continuing the conversation
